    Big Nik 14"

High quality and very delicious. I ordered Big Nik large size pizza 14" for four adults and it was enough.

I am in Gardnerville from time to time for work and I have been just down the street from this local pizza spot and was finally able to try a calzone and some sweet treats before heading back. I love their vibe here and you either love small towns or hate them. I fell in love with Gardnerville and Minden years ago. I stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and so glad I did. The staff here went above and beyond to get me in and out before my lunch break was over. I would say roughly about 20 minutes from ordering to having my first bite. I will be back next time I'm here or nearby. Everything was fresh and everyone was so friendly and inviting. I struck up a conversation with a few locals while waiting. I cannot wait to come back!

Very expensive for take and make. The crust was a 2- kinda like frozen, the the sauce was nice and zippy. Really did not like the crust.

The 4-cheese blend with gouda was SO good and made the pizza extra creamy and smoky. The BBQ sauce was perfect, the toppings were loaded, and the crust had the perfect crisp without being too hard. Also the ranch? Elite. Such a good cozy spot after being out in Tahoe all day. Definitely not just a tourist hype place, we're already planning to go back next trip

Got a half Base Camp and half BBQ Chicken pizza, which came out fast and smelled great. The Base Camp was the better of the two, but they were both ok. I wish I could say better things about this place but unfortunately the pizza did me dirty. Within 5 minutes of paying the bill, I was running to the bathroom (located outside the restaurant). 10 minutes later I was fighting for my life again in the Target bathroom. It hit my husband later that evening and my 1 year old the next morning. Food poisoning while on vacation is the absolute worst. Would NOT recommend if you're planning to grab a pizza before a full day of hiking or hitting the slopes.

It was rainy, and so everybody was indoors, and it was kind of crowded, but that's a testament to the quality of the food. Our bartender, Maddy, was energetic and friendly, and it didn't hurt that she grew up six doors down on our street. My wife, ever the hugger, was thrilled to see her, and you could tell they had a mutual fondness for each other. So if you're into day drinking, and it's a Sunday, this is a great stop. Quality, alcohol, friendly faces, what look like good food, and a clean and pleasant environment made this the place to stop. Rest assured, we will be back

We had a confirmed reservation for eight at 1:00 pm on a Friday following a wedding ceremony. What should have been a joyful post-wedding lunch became frustrating due to the general manager's attitude. Although the reservation was made, we were told they could not ensure the table that would comfortably fit eight adults -- several over 6 feet tall. We were also informed they would not guarantee any table even a few minutes early so we could place simple floral arrangement on it before bride arrived. Our party was fully prepared to order off the regular menu and pay whatever it took for what would likely have been a one-hour lunch. During the conversation, the manager repeatedly emphasized that they are "always busy," which felt dismissive rather than helpful. The overall tone came across as VERY condescending, especially given the occasion. For a restaurant known for hospitality, this was disappointing. The lunch was booked at another restaurant. Sadly, none of us will be back to The Pink House while the current manager is employed there.

This place has been on our list for at least a couple years, and we finally worked up the incentive to take the scenic drive to Markleeville. As we decided just a few days before, our reservation choices were 4:30 at a Table or 6 PM at the bar. We reserved the 4:30 spot and were seated at a nice table as one of the first parties inside the door. In the hour and a half (ish) that were here, the place filled up nicely, even witnessing a family of 3 being turned away for lack of a reservation. We both enjoyed the happy energy, the engaging staff and patrons, and our view into the kitchen. Our experience was fabulous, with the only "opportunity for improvement" being that Gayle's rack of lamb was just slightly overcooked (for her taste). We also left thinking that it would be great to come back in the summer when the patio was open. I would describe the indoor space of Stonefly being cozy, warm, and welcoming, with service that matched. I chose the 5 ounce filet (with Gorgonzola), mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. We both enjoyed our choices, plus the prosciutto wrapped asparagus spears as an appetizer, a couple nice glasses of wine, and of course the carrot cake with a candle and song at the end. In fact, we took the cake home for later as we were really full after a meal like that. I'm sure we'll be back and with friends and/or family. Stonefly's limited hours and restaurant space will require a little extra well worth it planning. And short of maybe the Caples Lake Resort, there's really nothing in the immediate area that compares.

I had the lasagna which was exceptional and the other person in our party had the filet. Unfortunately, the filet and the all the vegetables were all extremely salty.
