I went with the recommendation from the server for the chicken & waffles. The chicken cutlet was pounded so thin and fried so hard, it was too dry to eat, even after I poured syrup on it ‍. It was breaded but unseasoned. The waffle was prepared much earlier than when it was served to me. All of the dishes ordered by our party were equally underwhelming and bland. The potatoes tasted like tap water. It feels like there isn't a chef or anyone with cooking experience in the kitchen, more like a person assigned to boil these potatoes or sit waffles under the lamp until someone orders them. The Lobster Benedict, The Breakfast Sandwich, The Chilaquiles all equally flavorless. If you want to visit, grab drinks & dessert... take some pictures but if you're hungry. 09.12.2025 Decided to come here for brunch after watching a movie on a Friday. Checked in the front desk, was greeted and seated. Got lucky, had no reservations. This place gets really packed! Popular by beautiful decor and ambiance. I would like to start with a positive review. Beautiful place and the food and Drinks are deliciously good! The ambiance is cute and definitely relaxing with the water front and ocean breeze. I met the owner Nigel, very cool dude! Can't complain. He was friendly and welcoming. Now comes the honest negative review. Customer service in reference to servers, waiters, waitresses is terrible!! Sat in our booth and waited close to 17 mins to get acknowledged. I did not get the waitresses name that came over, 17 mins later. But once she came over, we ordered everything all at once making sure we are served and not waiting for our waitress to come down another 17 mins from now just to take our main dish orders. Once we ordered, she stated that another waitress will come over to host our table. Another waitress did come and her name was Mickey. Mickey ended dropping off our food. She was salty about something and did not look happy. Not the best customer service impression greeting. That was the last I seen of her. Not one waitress has checked on us within the hour of dining. I had to flag down another waitress just to give me my tab. Her name was Nicole, she was friendlier then Mickey. I gave her a tip just for being nice and helping us out. All the hostesses that were wearing red were all terribly rude. No acknowledgement or smile to our table. Kind of Snobish type attitudes. Kept passing us up and not even to say if everything is ok at our table or asking if anybody was helping us out. I noticed other patrons that checked in, the ones dressed in red outfits were very nice to them by greeting and smiling at them. Excluding the owner, I noticed we were getting ignored. Don't know what it was but we deeply felt it. Maybe its the tattoos I have or how I was dressed? It obviously displayed the servers behavior and character. Don't judge a book by its cover is what I always say. These servers and waitress needs to be retrained on basic customer service. This place has great potential to be successful. Very disappointing experience at Nigel's. We waited a long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, the chicken was **raw** and unsafe to eat. The manager, **Deandrea (Dee)**, was short and dismissive and showed little concern over a serious food-safety issue. However, the **chef did come out to apologize** and showed far more concern, which I appreciated. Mistakes happen, but the lack of proper management response made this experience unacceptable. SAVE YOUR MONEY.....me and the girls came here since we seen a lot of video on tik tok (bridal showers mainly, should've been our first red flag not that I mind but they're more attentive to bigger parties and celebrations then regular customers coming in for a good time). Reservation were made at 12:45 and did not get seated till 1:25. When they sat us we were right at the entrance (seats had been empty since we got there and empty for a reason). It was right at the main entrance away from the bar, the pretty lights, scenery, and performers. I mean if I'm going to pay over $30 for some chilaquiles, I at least wanna make the most of what I'm going to spend. We asked to move and host tells us we'd have to wait another 10-15 mins. Cool, since we're requesting a different table...only to get seated another 40 mins later at 2:00. We finally get seated at our different table and it wasn't another 10 mins later that our server comes and asks us for our drinks and appetizers. We get our drinks, our appetizers, and guess what....we waited ANOTHER 20-30 mins to order our meals. We eat, we're sitting and chatting, and we ask for our check. Assuming her forgot I get up and ask the bar for our check and point at our table. Still waiting I decide to just ask the front hosts if I can pay there since we were waiting for almost ANOTHER 20-25 mins. They tell me I can't and ask where I was seated, I let them know and finally we get to pay. Mind you throughout our whole time here no one asks "oh how's the food" "do you guys need anything" "any refills on the water" "anything else you'd like the order?" We came here for an impromptu girls lunch after spin class and honestly we're already planning to have events here because this place was just so amazing!!! The decor was super cute and everything from the napkins to the ceiling felt decadent and just over the top pretty. The staff was so kind and friendly, I'm pretty sure the owner was walking around because we had the best conversation with a gentlemen there was made us feel so welcomed. I came here on opening night on Wednesday. This place is so cutely decorated in all shades of pinkalicious hues. The restaurant is right along the water where the boats are docked. The highlight was getting to meet the owner Nigel himself who was walking around to meet and greet each table. He was so personable and kind. Very charismatic and sauve. If you are planning to host a party here, I do NOT recommend using this location. I hosted my birthday here and thought I could look past the stressful planning prior to the event but the buffet was late (a 20% grat fee was included for this experience)! Aside from the terrible planning and lack of communication prior to the event (they hire a 3rd party) to give info about a set menu that took about a week prior to the event to receive. I even had to drive to the location because staff members could not assist me over the phone in getting the menu. I had to personally talk to the manager and he expressed embarrassment over the situation. If your party is over a certain number, you must do the preset menu. Which by the way, they failed to give me and my party the promised bread that comes in the package. No information about buffet restocks or food disposal is given so they will pack the food in boxes right in front of you, think you'll be given that at the end of your night but then have a server say they ran out of take out boxes since it's Sunday/ and lie that in our package it is not included. Again, no where in that email, was that information disclosed. The manager said different, he said since the food was out for so long they had to dispose of it (which was not true since my guests saw it being boxed up! His excuse is understandable for the fish but not pasta.) There really are no perks in hosting your birthday here aside from the ambiance and it being pink. After my experience I saw the location provided a free dessert to those who celebrated their birthday here, meanwhile I had to pay an additional fee to bring my outside desserts and this not being offered. I highly recommend celebrating at Haidilao instead, which I was provided a free dessert, gifts, and a birthday sign for my table. For the price, I thought there would be more care in planning and making sure I felt special but I felt otherwise. I didn't want my night to end on a sour note so I didn't make it a big deal that our food was disposed by talking to the manager but I think if you're hiring a 3rd party to run events at your restaurant, all information should be disclosed about food. I hate wasting food so I would've made efforts to eat what I could and me nor my party were made aware that the food was going to be picked up or asked if we were done so it could be "disposed." You are given a QR code for your review of your experience so you can get the photos you took that day for the memories of you purchased images. They didn't even bother sending me those since my experience wasn't a positive one and I made that clear. But hey, at least I have 3 that my friends purchased for me as gifts, but would've appreciate digital form to share with my guests. read more

This restaurant should be a cocktail bar. No more. No less. Starting with the pros: I really loved the theming. They spared no expense at creating such a fun, vibey spot that's perfect for brunch, a birthday party, or a nice celebration. It had an elevated feminine aesthetic that's very pink that I LOVE. They make a lot of nods to the 1920's in their branding and truthfully I feel that's misplaced...but either way the branding was incredible. The cocktails and small plates also left me very happy. I had a pink lemon drop and I'm DREAMING of it. Our server, Megan, was a delight and I don't believe any of this to be her fault In fact, I applaud her for being so incredible in such a disorganized mess. Now the cons: I started with the aesthetic first because this is one of those restaurants that clearly prioritized being Instagrammable than actually good. If you wan to have a mid dinner here but have it look adorable, then yes! Come on through. But if you're seeking food that is actually worth your time and money OUTSIDE of small plates and drinks, I cannot recommend this establishment one bit. I mentioned the physical branding as a pro, but seeing the sheer amount of AI slop on Instagram when your restaurant is SO immaculately designed is weird--especially when the AI marketing is incredibly racially homogenous which isn't like the guests at all. The clientele in person was incredibly diverse, but it seems that through their marketing they're only trying to attract one specific type of customer, which is disheartening at best, in poor taste at most. The food? Numerous people in the party had to send food back. They took way too long with seating us for our reservation (sat at 3, but the reservation was at 2:30 with guests arriving as early as 2), drinks took forever, food took forever, and there were ever an explanations offered as to why we were sometimes waiting 30-45 minutes for something we asked for. We were there until 6 p.m largely in part to how long it took the establishment as a whole to accomplish anything on schedule. The food was also just okay. Some dishes were better than others, but it felt like we were paying for the rip off Beverly Hills Hotel aesthetic and not the actual food we were paying for. I was looking forward to eating here, and from everyone I've talked to in real life who has visited, we are not the first to be deeply underwhelmed by the lack of professionalism and mediocre food. I made reservations for my sister's big 50th birthday. There was a little hiccup with the reservations timing being changed the day before, but I was able to contact the owner and she corrected the time and she was and with no expectation she was kind enough to accommodate us with a cabana , Which was very appreciated! Wow! I have to admit, after seeing the amazing pictures I kind of assumed the experience couldn't be that good. I was so happy to be proved wrong! The food was excellent. We ordered the ahi tuna salad and the lobster eggs Benedict. We also had a several drinks, the cosmopolitan, a pineapple mimosa, and the sangria. They were all delicious and SO beautiful. The service was wonderful. I drink a lot of water, especially when I'm eating, so I often judge the service by how full my water glass stays, and the server offered when the glass was only half empty. I have zero complaints and will definitely be back with more girlfriends!! Men may be put off by the amount of pink (which can I just say again how much I LOVE the vibe here) but tbh I kind of love that there's a place just for women to celebrate or hang out. I had an amazing time with my mom. We both had chicken picatta which was breaded chicken fillet along with linguine pasta topped with a lemon caper sauce. We didn't taste must of the lemon but our experience was elevated mostly on service from our waiters and duffy ride captain. We had two waiters, I remember our main waitress name was Monica. She seemed confused and flustered with the reservation system and where to place us. I patiently waited and we were accommodated shortly after by someone wearing all black so i'm assuming a lead staff, secondly when it was time to go for our duffy ride, we asked one of the hostess standing by the coffee trailer where the waiting area was and she was dismissive and rude and pointed to the location quickly and turned her back on us. We ended up finding the waiting area but I was disappointed by her reaction. As for our duffy ride, our captain was friendly and knowledgable. He put some great tunes on and we even stopped by and saw some moon jellies!! She then came to the table passive aggressively asking if there was an issue, she then passed the table off to the only competent person we had contact with. 3rd waiter was great Forgot his name, but he was a bald gentleman with a goatee beard. He was the saving grace of the experience. Aside from the bad service, the food came out barely warm and for almost $40 for a sandwich I would expect it to be hot, fresh and delicious. They were okay but hard to enjoy everytime i ate it I got huge pieces of shell along with it. The filet mignon medium rare with some veggies and mash the usual it was okay as well cooked pretty good. The chocolate lava cake topped with some vanilla ice cream was surprisingly good. They have snake plants all along the back wall im not sure if thats attracting more flies but I had to kill so many fruit flies during my dinner. It was hard to enjoy theyd swarm as I was eating was getting really annoying. Service wasnt bad but it wasnt great either lol. I know people probably dread working valentine's day. Also at end of my dinner we got on the Duffy boat which was a nice surprise. There were 2 hosts the first one was okayish. The 2nd host was very nice and sweet apparently I was supposed to get flowers when we came in but the other host didnt give them to me. The 2nd host was very sweet and made me my little bouquet and worked well with my boyfriend surprising me with the boat ride because I was very clueless lol. 1st time at Nigel's celebrating my sis & cus bday. I can honestly say I've never seen such a cute & beautiful place! I was lucky to see the owners. They are the sweetest & greeted us with such warmth! The staff were attentive & polite. The food was delicious! Champagne was yummy with cute glasses. The bday dessert was the best & very unique! I would definitely recommend this place & can't wait to return. I would give it more stars if they had it available! read more

So..hate to be the Karen but the only thing good about this place is, no fee to park! Made reservations for their little table on the water. Arrived and they said it's for the restaurant. We clearly showed the confirmed reservation with water. Our 1st waitress arrives and tells us that the water table is only for drinks and appetizers, but doesn't say that when you make the reservation! 2nd, our drinks took over 40min to arrive. Our food was provided prior to our drinks!! But, they all were very good. 3rd, THEY REALLY need to figure out some AC/fan ventilation. Like I told the manager, I don't care if it sits on water..its SWAMP ASS HOT IN HERE!!! Would like to thank our 2nd server Farrah. She was super sweet and productive. read more
