I had a peppermint pedicure today and had a very nice experience. I was glad I came in early,9:30am,by 10:30 there was a wait. My favorite part of any pedicure is the massage and the peppermint pedicure has a scrub,peppermint lotion massage, and a regular lotion massage. My only reason for not giving them five stars was because they charged me $5 extra for my nail polish. The polish was not gel,just a regular Opi color. The lady said it was an upcharge because the quality of the polish was high quality. All in all I would have paid $40 for the pedicure so I didn't really mind. This place had the worst service I have ever received! The woman who did my nails rushed through and didn't even cut my cuticles like I asked her. My nail weren't even filled correctly. It took her 2 minutes to just throw some paint on my nails. She didn't even try. Then later I asked her why she didn't cut my cuticles and I was given a rude response. She wouldn't let me even get a word in without yelling saying I ask for no manicure. Then she began to talk to a coworker in Chinese about me while I stood there. When I got to the counter, she charged me $10 for a sloppy and rushed manicure. I do not recommend this place! You could easily get an 8$ manicure at BR nails. read more

I've visited this salon a couple of times and I don't think I'll be returning. It's probably the cleanest shop I've ever seen. I love the decorations and there is a spa-like ambiance which I appreciate. I loved the salon itself so much that I tried to ignore their atrocious lack of customer service skills. There are quite a few negatives that I cannot overlook. They barely acknowledge you when you walk in (one woman walked out because of this) and they're not the friendliest. I'm not looking for extensive conversation, but it would be nice to know that you appreciate my patronage. The last time I visited, they started helping two customers who had arrived after me and ignored me until I politely pointed out I had gotten there 10 minutes before them. The guy doing my nails didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted my nails trimmed shorter (I had to tell him) and he charged me $20 for an acrylic fill-in (the price in their brochure was $18). The only reason I am rating them 2 stars is because they do nails well (I've gotten several compliments) and their shop is neat and well-maintained. But I refuse to continue to give my hard-earned money to someone who acts as if I'm an inconvenience by coming into their shop and requesting service. read more

My favorite place to get pampered with manicures and pedicures. The staff is friendly and the work is great but because of this, they are often busy so you have to wait a while. You can make an appointment but some times my schedule does not allow a standing appointment. I've found that arriving a few minutes before they open works but you may still be the 3rd on the sign in sheet. When my hands were shaking from my condition she was mean and made fun of me, which obviously didn't help. I had an appointment for a nail polish change and kept asking to reassure she knew it was just that but at the end she charged me for a whole manicure because "I needed it". Upon walking it, I automatically thought about turning around. Everyone was staring at me and no one said anything ... you could tell it was my first time there and i had no clue what to do. When I first moved to this area I tried a lot of different nail places to find the one I liked best. Nifty nails is above and beyond better than the rest and I would never go anywhere else! Gel manicures typically last 2+ weeks. they put two base coats, two color and two top coats so my nails rarely chip before it's time to come back. I also love the ladies working here. They are nice, friendly and spend quality time on each customer. They do get busy so if you are short on time you might want to make sure you have an appointment. This place is not worth your time or money. I went with my sister and daughter who wanted dip and gel nails, I did not. I wanted buffed natural nails... which confused them so I asked for a menu. They finally found a menu and I asked for the exotic manicure... sat and waited, and waited... as they took others ahead of me. I am from out of town and was never asked to check in or check my daughter in who they took immediately. Since they were having a 30% grand opening discount I indulged in one of their upgraded spa pedicure services. They spent over an hour on me and it was very relaxing. The pedicurist who did my toes did a bad polish job, but even worse, she cut my nails in a very odd way, leaving me with an ingrown toenail and having to get an operation on my toe. I went and got the service done didn't do anything special or different or extra and I go to check out and the cost was 65 that was charged to my card. Terrible long wait... Over 50 minutes. Dirty and unfriendly service. The receptionist was helpful but when trash stayed on the floor and she saw it and spent the rest of her time texting I didn't see that as something I would want. My daughter was told countless times by her tech that her nails were very short and what did she did to have this happen. When she told him it was a bad habit and she didn't know most of the time when it was happening he took the time at the end to tell her he had to take more time cleaning them up! What s jerk! My tech didn't even say hello. She popped my fingers and jammed my thumb causing it to be sore all day! I will not be back for all these reasons and they had been recommended. read more

I went back and got my nails redone. I highly recommend Vicky! She takes her time and she is very nice. I had to leave to do something before I got my nails painted and then I came. Vicky had other appointments so I waited. Another person ( a man, supposedly the owner and the same person that did my nails the first time ) painted my nails for me and he didn't do a very good job. He did one thin coat of nail polish and thin a clear coat that looks horrible. He rushed to paint them. So I don't recommend him at all.
