Huge fan of this restaurant! Our server was attentive and extremely kind…read more We started with the wontons and deviled eggs (we ate them too quickly to get pictures) and they were to die for. We also ordered some drinks (You're My Boy Blue & the Rhubarb/Ginger Gin Fizz). Both were a perfect balance of refreshing and fruity. I ordered the brisket mac & cheese (pictured) and was immediately in love. Truly the definition of comfort food. As it was my birthday, we were able to finish off the meal with a slice of rainbow cake. We will definitely be back, as there are so many things we didn't get this time that we want to try

We ordered the Candied Bacon flight to share; the menu listed the bacon flight flavors (whiskey jalapeño BBQ, roasted chile brown sugar, honey mustard, 4-pepper blend) and the 8 large, thick slices looked inviting but we had no idea which pieces were which flavor. *Management Suggestion: Get little toothpicks or flags so diners know what they're tasting!* That said, while I tried two pieces I thought looked good and I enjoyed them, RC munched through them unaware they were different flavors, lol. My take: they were ok. I also ordered the French Onion soup as I love trying different restaurants' take on it. Five stars for the soup, it was absolutely delicious. A thick piece of crusty bread topped with melted cheese that dripped over the crock topped rich, delicious caramelized onions and just enough beef stock to be able to call it soup. Banging. For our mains, RC ordered ribs with a side of Buffalo Brussels Sprouts. The ribs had good flavor but were definitely not fall-off-the-bone; more like saw from the bone. We both love Brussels but the beef-tallow fried sprouts with Buffalo sauce and caked in melted bleu cheese crumbles were not good. If you don't like Brussels, you might like these because any sprout flavor was overwhelmed by the bleu cheese. For my main I tried the braised Short Rib Ravioli, generous ravioli in a very rich cream sauce then topped with (I think) bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. I ate one raviolo and it wasn't for me. I thought the filling was bland and the sauce didn't meld with the flavor. I didn't eat it, the manager came to apologize and ask if I wanted something else, but RC was close to finished and I declined. Good on them for taking it off my bill without me asking. Service was five star, atmosphere nice, although the huge flat screens everywhere were a distraction lacking sound or captions. The bourbon selection looked great and I momentarily wished I could try some! :D

They are strictly open for lunch 12-2 located on the first floor of an office building. Therefore, it gets very busy and loud in there for the lunch rush. They were very fast and efficient though. First time coming here I felt a little confused at how to order. If you can read signs then you will be just fine and can figure it out. They have the left side for ordering hoagies and they have the right side for ordering salads. They wood fire the pizzas and sandwiches and looked really good. I tried the oriental chicken salad and it was very tasty! You get huge portions for a great price. All ingredients seemed so fresh too! I was a little confused on the parking situation and may have parked in the wrong area. I parked where it said delivery's only but hey I didnt get towed. I was in and out in about ten minutes.

This location is blocks away from my job as well as close to home. I recently looked over the menu and found that they offered quite a few non seafood options that sounded good enough for me. The menu at this location is a bit different than the others. They have some daily specials, HH and even some seasonal dishes. I went with the Tennessee Hot Chicken sandwich and my mom got the Crispy Lemon Chicken. The sandwich was good, wasn't as spicy as I hoped it would be but still good. I upgraded chips to cajun fries and those were good. The Crispy Lemon chicken was okay to me, my mom enjoyed it but didn't like the mashed potatoes it came with. She said they were too lumpy. We also shared a crab cake - still too fishy for me lol, but my mom liked it. I got a raspberry lemon drop martini and it was a bit watered down tasting but I'd definitely go back and try some other options. Our server was really nice and attentive. Made the experience overall great. Generally a nice space/atmosphere.

This place does get busy so definitely keep that in mind. Luckily I made reservations ahead of time so we had a table waiting for us, otherwise we would have been put on a waiting list since it's a small space. They put us in a corner booth which was nice and spacious enough for 4 people so I'd definitely recommend asking for a booth verse a table if you're planning to come with a larger group. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. I appreciated their attentiveness and sharing what they like best, especially for what's in season based on the time of year. The menu has quite a bit of variety too which is sometimes unexpected when you come to a pub-style location. For appetizers we got Onion Ring and Fried Pickles. They were both really good and served with dipping sauces. Definitely both shareable items so if you're in a group they'd be great options! My entree I chose the Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon served with lemon soy marinade, creamy cucumbers, and jasmine rice -- it was SO good!! I loved the creaminess of the cucumbers especially with the rice and than the lemon soy marinade was just a unique touch to the salmon. Toned the flavors down without overpowering acidity. And the salmon was so dreamy, a beautiful pink color that you just knew it wasn't a farm raised salmon. Plus the portion was very generous!! I'd definitely recommend the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon to anyone interested in visiting here. #eatwildsavewild The only negatives (which are more so just knowledge bombs for you): * Restaurant is VERY loud. It's hard to hear because it is one small room that everyone plus the bar is in. I wished I would have took a picture to show what I mean. Just know that if it's an intimate setting you're looking for this is not the place. So be prepared to talk loudly over the loudness and ask "excuse me?" or "repeat that" many times throughout your visit because you're not going to hear everything. * Timed eating. Because this place is a hit with limited seating, once you get a table and complete your meal/payment you'll kindly be asked to leave so that they can clean up and open the table to next in line. Totally get that and am not put off by this at all, but I could see how it could catch some folks off guard especially if you are out for a meal with folks you may not see frequently-- so just keep that in mind. This is not the place to sit and talk post meal. * Parking is limited. Be prepared to walk a few blocks as the road parking in front of the business is pretty limited especially with the other stores and restaurants in the area. Regardless of those few bullets I highly recommend folks visit George & The Dragon. It's a really cool spot and the food was great! Plus theirs a malt shop right next door that looks yummy too, so definitely worth visiting and getting malts after for dessert.

I usually recommend a reservation for Pink Ivy as during dinner rush it always seems full. I have had so many great meals here. I am usually a meat and potatoes kind of person but the salmon here is great. Also as much as I dislike vegetables they actually have ones I order. As much as the food is always been great. The staff has also been wonderful. They are knowledgeable and friendly and really make a difference. Atmosphere can change from time to time. As busy restaurants nights are always going to have that buzz but in a good way. As the busy night calms into late evening there is this different nice smooth feeling that comes over the place. Lastly this place introduced me to a new drink. The Carajillo. In my opinion it's a better version of the Espresso Martini as it's a bit sweeter.

I somehow showed up wearing green without even planning it, so I accidentally matched the vibe which made it even better. The atmosphere overall feels clean, modern, and relaxed without being over the top. It works really well for a casual lunch or a low-key date where you still want something a little nicer. We tried a few different things, and everything was well done. The burger was juicy with a good melt on the cheese and a soft bun that held together nicely. Simple, but done right. The side salad was fresh and actually had flavor instead of just being there. The meatballs were a standout--really tender and covered in a rich, creamy sauce that made the dish feel more elevated. The mussels were also great, and the broth was flavorful enough that dipping the grilled bread in it was a must. Nothing felt like a miss, and everything had a little extra attention to detail. Also our server was very nice and kind I liked her. Overall, I'd come back. It's not super fancy, but it feels like a step up from your usual spots and is a great option if you want something cute, relaxed, and still really solid.
