We recently stopped into Neza for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn't very busy, but it was an off time. We were promptly greeted and sat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant appeared very clean and well taken care of.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress Aylen was very nice and very helpful. Being a vegetarian, I was disappointed to learn that both the beans and rice contain chicken stock, leaving the options very limited. I ordered the Veggie Enchilada's which do not contain cheese, and they did let me substitute the rice and beans for a side salad, which was fresh. The meal was very tasty and honestly the first time in a very long time where my food was so good that I didn't require hot sauce! My fiancé ordered the Fajita mix, which he stated was some of the best fajitas he has had in a very long time. The guacamole, pico and salsa were all fresh. The reason for the 4, not 5 stars wasn't due to the food - which was amazing, the atmosphere or the service. It was because I felt nickel and dimed when I got our receipt. They charged me an upcharge for salad dressing for my side salad. They charged an upcharge for sour cream and cheddar cheese. So, those added about $6 to my bill. Not big money but just felt nickel and dimed. We will return as the food was excellent. If you're in the area - give it a go!

The chilaquiles here (dinner portion in pic) are my favorite dish in Warwick! Really great overall

This place never disappoints! The drinks are always spot on. The servers are always kind and attentive. The food is never missing a spice. We never leave hungry. On the contrary, we should always be taking food home but it's too good to not finish eating. Definitely my favorite Mexican spot!!

GREAT New Mexican in the area. Neza is family owned and a little tough to see on Warwick Avenue but very much worth the trip. Our server was attentive and courteous and the food was served promptly. A little hiccup on order was corrected quickly and our drinks and food came out right away. Handmade guacamole, outstanding tequila selection, mixed drinks and authentic Mexican food with portions that will last for days. The chicken mole entree had just enough 'kick' to make me sweat but not enough to drive me away. Overall, very strong first visit. Give it a try, I think you'll be glad you did!

Authentic Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood! Yes please!!! They recently opened and we have already been two times! The ambiance is nice perfect for a date night or to just bring the whole family. Both times the food has been excellent as well as the service! We started with Elotes. Street corn and fresh table made guacamole. Both were excellent and we wanted to order more!! The corn is 4 good pieces great for the table loaded with flavor just like in Mexico! We have ordered vegatarian enchiladas, excellent and they let me change it to spicy mole sauce! 5 star! Husband had shrimp diablo, which I also ate!! It was a little bite but not spicy. The flavor was on point!! Today i had the fried fish tacos and they were perfect fresh, it cane with flour tortillas next time I'll ask for corn because I prefer corn but they were great. They have a great kids menu too! We love this place! Service is great. The brinks are FIRE!!! Spicy margarita and guava margarita are to die for. This place is dangerous and I can't stop thinking about it and when the next time I will be able to go back!!! Parking is in the back and there is plenty of spots.

The food was amazing and the staff very attentive. This was my first time going and won't be my last. The Arroz con Pollo was delicious.

Guacamole and tortilla soup is the best. Second time here and it's still just as good as the first time.

The staff at Sapphire (Melissa, Marc, & Shiv), as well as the guest bartender (Vannaluck), went above & beyond to make the experience interactive & memorable. We were greeted immediately with a French 75 made with cognac - Did you know that the original French 75 called for cognac, as well as many other classic cocktails? No? Neither did I. The welcome aperitif was a great lil' treat to kick the night off with. We were given a mini charcuterie selection to keep us busy until the main event, which began about 20 minutes after we arrived. Vannaluck talked us through the history & characteristics of cognac. We were given 3 small pours of different cognacs to taste as well as a serendipitous, bonus mini pour at the end. Throughout the night, the kitchen sent out a variety of tapas that UTILIZED COGNAC. Cognac glaze, reduction, brine, etc. Fascinating! I went in knowing next to nothing about cognac & left with a decent understanding of the spirit. I've always wanted to do something like this, & Sapphire made it extremely accessible. It was also amazingly affordable. I'm really looking forward to more events like this one. Sign me up, please.

I loved the Jacobean cocktail, so we both got this smooth scotch cocktail...Melissa made the drink with an expertise that few have and while she was making them, we engaged in conversation with Marc, the beverage manager. Both were very engaging and very friendly, making the visit very relaxed and enjoyable....we also got some steakhouse sliders that were outstanding...the meat was just slightly medium, keeping all the moistness and flavor.... Overall a great place for a drink and/or light bites...... The ambiance is inviting and cozy and the patio outside is great for those nice warm Rhode Island evenings....

Service was friendly & helpful, and the menu offers many delicious sounding options. Food is fast casual style (order at the counter, get a card - here all were west side street signs, not the usual numbered placards, food will be delivered to your table. I had the avocado shakshuka, my husband had the lox omelet (see the photo). Despite the large menu of fancy coffee options, we each had a basic iced. It was served in a glass, which was a nice touch. Self serve milk was at a station in the dining room area. Coffee was good, cold but I would have traded some coffee for a bit more ice to stay that way as I drank it slowly. Both of us were surprised when our meals were delivered: the plates were beaut! In particular his omelet was absolutely gorgeous! Now for the flavors: the omelet had a generous helping of perfect cooked eggs (not sitting in a pile of grease, as restaurant omelets frequently are). It was so fluffy that we both thought "that's way more than the advertised 3 eggs," and the lox was thickly layered whole slices nestled inside the fold. Most places chop the lox like vegetables, add it to the eggs, & make it like a veggie omelet - meh. This iteration was perfect; the lox tasted like smoked salty fish, losing none of that flavor to the omelet itself. The potatoes? Fabulous! Great spice mix, cooked until they were crispy. That was a tasty bit of marble rye toast too. My shakshuka was very good, but a bit less successful. The elements were all excellent; the avocado was actually guacamole since it was mashed & there were tomatoes and spices in the dish. The combination worked, except for the bread element. The dish as presented was really more of an avocado toast with shakshuka on top. It might have been more successful to add the avocado/guacamole as a unique base on the plate, with the tomato sauce and eggs on top with toast on the side (as is the way shakshuka is traditionally served) because halfway through the bread got really soggy & less appetizing. Still, the first few bites, while everything was still warm? So good!

For the RI food fights challenge, they were serving a CRU Cookie Blazer--an iced dirty chai latte with hazelnut and vanilla syrup, vanilla cold foam, Oreos, and CRU mocha sauce. It's not normally on their menu, but they'll happily make it if you ask! This one was definitely more of a sweet treat than the bold coffee flavor I usually gravitate toward, but if you love dessert-inspired coffee drinks, this is right up your alley. I'll definitely be back because that lobster avocado toast has my name written all over it.
