Place is legit trash. Had 4 people and they tipped automatic 18% for bad service LOL. Guac and 4 drinks was $93 HAHAHAHA! It's hysterical how bad and expensive this mediocre place is. Shut it down son

We stopped by for a snack and drink. Unfortunately, majority of the food was carnivore friendly... so we sticked with giant Margaritas and delicious salsa and chips. Not disappointed not ecstatic...

As you can see- we destroyed our food :)

Dammnnnnnn! That was good! Like really really good. Couldn't find anything open late night when we flew into providence and found this place delivered to our hotel. Carne asada tacos were delicious as was their guacamole and house made chips- like right up there with the best I've ever had! Highly recommend!

Very attentive staff, delicious food, great margaritas, great mojitos, and no wait to be seated or served. What more can you want? Definitely recommend!

I've Been to Lucia's on three ocasiones! Every ocasión has been good except the last one when we had my grandmothers dinner. By not so great I mean in service. Food is consistent and very good! I've had a few things on different occasions and posted some pics. All I can say if you try this place you gotta try something they make woth that Don Julio sauce! It's to die for! Tbey honestly. Red to bottle it and sell it! I'd buy boxes! Lol It's also very small in there so be ready to call ahead if you have a big party.

The waiter had asked if we had parked there so sounded like they could've validated our parking but we were lucky to find a close parking spot on the street. Hostess told us it would just be able 15 to 20 minutes for an inside table so we waited. Once seated it took a bit before our waiter came over to ask above beverages. He was very nice ans friendly though. The one grievance I have is bread wasn't brought out until after our appetizers were served. We ordered the dressed cucumbers and tuna crudo. For drinks we ordered the floor is guava and label and love. The mocktail options were delicious and the appetizers were quick to come out. The lobster bisque was so good!! It had pieces of lobster in it which some restaurants miss out on. For an entree I ordered originally the local monk fish but they were sadly out of it. I ended up getting the fresh frusilli and it was so yummy! The freshly made pasta with the shrimp and scallops were so good. I was initially disappointed with the size of the scallops but there was an abundance of them in the dish. The salmon was good with the light side of the tomatos and honey vinaigrette. We had to get the rest of our meals to go to have space for dessert! The citrus olive oil cake was so refreshing! The creme brulee was so creamy and not overly sweet. The coffee milk was rich and delicious as well. I definitely can not wait to come here again!

We stopped in at 5 yesterday and were worried the restaurant would be busy, but we were sat immediately. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with lots of nautical themes. Our waitress was lovely and explained the menu to us in detail. As it was our first time at a seafood boil she was very patient with all our questions. Ultimately I had the 2lb boil with 1lb of mussels, 1/2lb of shrimp, and 1/2lb of clams in the captain Loui sauce with a side of garlic noodles. Our waitress came back quickly with a bib, gloves, and a bucket for shells. Not long after our meals came out and let me tell you everything was excellent! The seafood was cooked perfectly, plenty of sauce, and even the corn and potato were out of this world. I ordered the sauce medium and it definitely had a nice kick to it. The garlic noodles had great flavor, a little clumpy but with a little of that captain Loui sauce added on top it fixed the problem. It's not cheap but for a once in a while special occasion treat I can not recommend this place enough!

We parked really close nearby and risked it not paying for parking... Part of our brunch we were a little bit on edge, "Are we going to get ticketed? At least we can see the car from here." This place is easy to find parking nearby, though. You don't have to park where there's a meter. Customer service was really good and friendly! It was really nice to sit outside. However, maybe the pavement can be cleaned. The bricks were a bit dirty. We found the menu a little confusing. Everything on the Puffcake menu comes with Puffcakes. Each menu item comes with two Puffcakes which isn't written on the menu. The menu would have benefitted from having pictures for each section.. However, our server was really good at clarifying what the menu items are. We ordered the original and the ultimate breakfast. I really enjoy how puffy the pancakes are! They are sweet, but not too sweet for pancakes. I didn't use much of the maple syrup. The hash browns were really yummy. The bacon and sausage are just bacon and sausage. I wanted to compare the puffcakes to regular pancakes and they are very similar, just the puffcakes are fluffier. If I come back, I would order one of the more different/unique flavors because the price is a bit much for something to be quite similar to regular pancakes. I enjoy the drink of my coconut water with foam on top and edible butterfly. I believe my husband got a coffee latte drink which tasted a lot like Vietnamese coffee (which is a good thing for us). Overall, it is a fun experience to eat something offered no where else. I like pancakes, and I do think these puffcakes are better than pancakes.

Our server even came over with the check because she thought we had already eaten and our table cleared but was shocked to learn our food hadn't even arrived yet. The outdoor seating could also use some updating, with awkwardly placed table legs that didn't lend to a four top and peeling tabletops. Overall, I'm glad I tried this viral spot, but I don't think the food was worth the long wait.

First of all, the restaurant itself is small but very cute, cozy, and full of lovely New England-y Sea-Themed decor. We were promptly seated and had our order taken for our drinks & food - I had heard good things about this place, so I got a decent amount of food items, including: Lobster Roll - Arguably the best lobster roll I've ever had so far in my life. The brioche bun for it was soooo fluffy, soft, and a perfect complement to the big, juicy chunks of lobster that were seasoned and buttered JUST right. Also came with hefty and well-seasoned fries. New England Clam Chowder - Came with salted pork and potatoes in addition to the quahog clams. It was deliciously creamy and soothing to slurp on and the chunks within were all so tender and a great contrast. Clam Cakes - Added them to the Clam Chowder order for an extra $8. Big, hefty, doughy balls that were perfectly fried outside and ooey gooey within. Fish & Chips - Big, hefty fish that was juicy & delicious with a great crunch on the outside! Similarly came with the 'chips', or the hefty, well-seasoned fries that the lobster roll also came with. Oh yeah, pardon me, forgetting to mention the drinks! We ordered the Briny Martini and the Harbor House Punch! The Martini was great for a stronger drink and the Punch was a nice cocktail for anyone preferring something sweeter and fruitier. When it came to the food, service, and dining experience...it couldn't have been better! Everything was incredibly delicious and definitely worth ordering. This memorable experience then reached exceptional circumstances, however, as while we were in the middle of dining here and enjoying our delicious food, there was a shooting occurring just up the street at Brown University. I wish to commend the staff at Dune Brothers, who looked out for mine and their other patrons' safety and sheltering us in their restaurant as we all nervously waited for more information on what exactly was going on that evening. We started out with my husband's newfound favorite, the clam cakes. I appreciated the herbiness of the breadcrumbs they were fried in. My husband got the crab roll for his entree, and I did like the bite I was able to sneak of it. I really wanted the lobster roll but that $42 price tag turned me away quickly. Instead I got the fish and chips with pollock for my entree. I am always complaining about portion sizes. Not here, I was only able to finish around 1/3 of it. It is substantial! Not only was it a generous portion, but it was really nicely fried, and I loved the flaky salt on it. My one complaint is the sauces that you pay extra for. I got some piri-piri mayo and garlic aioli. Both of these were absolutely not worth it, grossly lacking in flavor. Don't waste your money on these and stick with ketchup. The staff was friendly, helpful, and as attentive as they could be from inside the food truck. The locale is super cute with a bunch of picnic tables out on a patio. The lobster roll was not only full, but it was packed with huge chunks of meat, very tasty, it was also served with French fries. The clam chowder was also tasty, with good flavor and decent chunks of clam inside. Prices here were a bit high, but the quality of the food was very high, and very fresh. Needless to say, it was a disappointing start to what was supposed to be a special family evening. Thankfully, a quick call to Aguardente in Fox Point changed everything. The person who answered explained that they weren't taking reservations that evening, but they did have one outdoor table left if we could make it there in time. Despite the challenges of navigating Providence during the World Cup festivities and the Cape Verde Festival in the Fox Point area, we managed to get to the restaurant and secure that last table. We are incredibly grateful to the staff at Aguardente for helping turn our evening around. Our daughter and son-in-law were hoping to enjoy one last dinner with both families before leaving on Monday for a special assignment in South Carolina, and the unexpected closure of our original restaurant had left everyone feeling frustrated and disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the team at Aguardente made us feel welcome. The food was excellent, the drinks were wonderful, and the service was outstanding. Most importantly, they helped transform what had begun as a stressful evening into a memorable celebration with family. Thank you to everyone at Aguardente for your kindness, hospitality, and professionalism. You made our families smile and created a special memory during an important moment in our lives. We highly recommend Aguardente and look forward to returning. -- A very grateful family

The upper 'porch' like area looks really fun, but the table we were seated at was so close to the other tables I was uncomfortable. I get that we're in a city, but I value my personal space and privacy and felt like the whole restaurant could hear my every word - ick. Service: our server seemed annoyed that I didn't want an alcoholic drink, and was not very helpful. Half of the menu is not in English (very chaotic how some portions are in English and others are not, it doesn't seem consistent), so we had some questions, such as "what does x taste like?" and the only response we got was "not too sweet"....okay, but what DOES it taste like? She spoke very fast and I couldn't understand her listing off the specials, even though she didn't really have an accent. She left partway through while we were there so I guess she was just at the end of her shift and checked out, but it was so offputting how rude and unhelpful she was. When our servers transitioned, we offered to cash out then since we weren't getting anything else and wanted the original server to get her tips, but she started joking around that we didn't have to do that - which I appreciate, but we actually did want to get going and get cashed out, but she refused to give us our check. I asked three times and she still wouldn't 'let us do that'...very weird. Food: there were not a ton of vegetarian options that appealed to me. I went a little overboard on plantains by accident, which is my mistake. I first ordered the Rellenitos with cilantro crema sauce, which were very good and a flavor combination I wasn't expecting. The dough to filling ratio was a little off and they were pretty dry inside, so I needed a lot of the sauce. An order only came with 2 and I wish it was more. I'm glad I ordered something else - Tula Fries, which came with the same exact cilantro creme sauce as the Rellenitos, even though they are described differently on the menu, which felt lazy to repeat a sauce. The sauce didn't go well with them at all in my opinion so I did not enjoy these as much as I would've liked. My friend enjoyed her drink, but thought almost all of the meat on her meat and cheese board was either low quality or close to going bad. It was priced reasonably, which we were shocked by, but she couldn't eat a good portion of it sadly. We did really enjoy the baked flava bean snack that was a part of it. The board weirdly came with just half of one small, half rotten strawberry that looked terrible - it would've been better to leave it off. Towards the end of the night, there was so much water on the floor in the hallway that goes to the bathroom and passes the kitchen - I had to walk through it to go to the bathroom, which felt like a safety hazard. My friend was on crutches and wouldn't even try to get over there since we knew she'd slip on all the water. It just looked terrible and was dangerous, so not sure what we going on that there was such a water issue there. Their specialties and more meat based dishes are probably great, but there just aren't a ton of things for me to eat here. I'd be willing to try it again for drinks and apps if the service wasn't so unwelcoming.
