We stopped in on a Friday night while we were in the area and I'm so glad we did! We've been to Condesa's other location in Smithfield before and had a great meal there so figured we couldn't go wrong here. Upon entering, they have a nice outdoor area to eat with playful decor that makes you feel like you're in Mexico! We were seated immediately, but we must've just gotten there at the right time cause they were so packed! Our waitress brought over water and chips and salsa and gave us a few moments to review the menu. We ordered drinks, a steak quesadilla, and the rib eye tacos and fish tacos. Food came out quick and the staff were incredibly attentive. The steak quesadilla was yummy but I wish they had the sour cream and salsa or something on the side for it. It was only drizzled on top but since they were overlapping, it didn't feel like there was enough. But that's 10000% just personal preference! it was still very delicious! The cabo fish tacos were so yummy, we got them fried and they had a good crisp to is. But the star was the rib eye tacos. SO good! the green guacamole sauce that comes with it paired so well with the rib eye flavor. Hands down my favorite of the night! both orders of tacos also came with beans and rice. Solid spot to grab some tasty dinner. I like their interior and they seem to always prioritize getting everyone to their table quickly. I went with my son and they do have a kid's menu. The servers are always friendly every time I've been in. On my most recent visit I went with the ribeye tacos. They were super delicious and loved that they griddle the cheese with the tortilla. We regularly go to the one in Smithfield , and love it there but we're in the Warwick area with friends so decided to pop in. It's such a pretty place , very welcoming. I enjoy going to Condesa. I have never had a bad meal. When you arrive they are always welcoming. There was a short wait but they have a good amount of couches to sit and wait comfortably. After short wait, we got seated in a nice booth. The decorations fit the vibe of the restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly. I had a nice strawberry margarita and they give you chips and salsa. Their margaritas are amazing, though not quite as big as they used to be..but I'm not drinking as much, so that works for me! Food was delicious as always, getting the guacamole and queso is a must for every group dinner. I love the enchilada, I've had them all. My friend got a burrito which was huge! Service was good, waitress allowed us all to order separately because we were paying with numerous credit cards. We went in on a Sunday night and we able to get two seats right away at the bar. The service was fantastic! All of our drinks were fantastic. The homemade tortilla chips came out warm and the salsa was thick and flavorful...very good! The Queso came out on a piping hot plate with 3 flour tortillas. Excellent flavor. The onions and poblanos were cooked perfectly. I had to try the rib eye tacos. Very good flavor with the the side Pico de Gallo. The avocado was just right and complimented the rib eye perfectly. We also go the Barbacoa Burrito, which was served as a wet burrito with the Pico de Gallo on top. Very large portion. I would have preferred it crispy with a red chimichurri. None of the food was spicy so I did ask for hot sauce. The prices are reasonable and the food is fresh and comes out quickly. Every time I've come to this restaurant, the food and service is amazing! They start you out with chips and salsa and refill for free. We didn't get guac this time, but I've gotten it in the past and is a definite must-try. My family and I went there for a birthday. We all got margaritas- the don, spicy orange, and a berry one (I can't find or remember the specific names). Burrito California: Amazing! Huge portion, definitely lunch for the next day, and maybe even dinner the next day lol. Enchiladas verde: Amazing again. Super simple, verde sauce, tortilla, and shredded chicken breast. Comes with 3 enchiladas. It also comes with an onion on top and a side of Spanish rice and black beans. Another big portion- had lunch for the next day. The Don is their most popular and comes with a side car (extra drink). Birria Tacos- So good. Comes with 3 tacos. Big portion, lunch for the next day. Comes with verde salsa and a side of Spanish rice and black beans. Cinnamon Churros: 3 churros with a sweet filling, side of blueberry sauce, and black raspberry ice cream. I don't know if I've ever had a churro before but that was definitely one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. The waiter was excellent as well. Salsa is a little spicy. Might I suggest they make a flight of spicy red salsa, sweeter red, and their to die for hot tomatillo salsa?? We ordered the beef roast tacos. Let me tell you...I'm a huge fan of tacos birria...and these blew them out of the park! Yummy cheese on the tortilla with Oaxaca cheese. The beef was perfectly cooked. Time to update my review. Condesa is on our 'regular' rotation of local restaurants. We prefer the dinner menu over the lunch menu - more variety. The lunch menu gets you in and out quick. They have a full bar with a variety of margaritas available and a few beers on tap too. The dining room has mostly booth seating with the fair sized bar on one side with seating and two TV showing sports. Decor is festive, booth seating comfortable. Take out is picked up at the host/ess stand just inside the door. The host will seat you with menus for food and beverage. Plates and flatware wrapped in cloth napkins are on the table. A basket of warm corn chips and a spicy salsa are brought to the table by wait staff. Both the host and waiter recommended their new tequila drinks. We were ready to order when he returned with our beverages. A food runner brought our meals in a decent amount of time, and our waiter kept an eye on us. Before bringing our check, he suggested dessert and brought a take away box for left overs. The Barbacoa Chimichunga is a good portion size. Mild, tender and tasty. The sides are a spiced rice and pureed blackbeans. The beans were a bit salty. Enchiladas Mole was a big hit. Lots of flavor. Would order again. Plenty of shared parking with other businesses in the strip mall. Outdoor seating is available weather permitting. They get very busy on weekend evenings. The restaurant is very pretty. It has a very Latina charm and feels comfortable. The food was good. I got a chimichanga which was meat filled. It was a bit dry and needed a bit more sauce. It was good though and it had black beans and fluffy rice with it. My husband had a burrito which had rice, beans and steak. He liked it but said he would have liked a bit more meat. Service was good. The waiter was attentive and pleasant. Overall it was good. If I was in the area I might go again. It is fun to try different non chain restaurants. read more

We came on a Saturday evening with a group of friends, 6 adults and a few kiddos. Wasn't overly busy. Was overall a good experience, but I will say it could've been a little more personal in the service area. It seemed like they were rushing us even though there weren't people waiting to be seated, and there were empty tables. They offered to take my friends plate away because he paused for a moment in eating, but he still had half his food left to eat, so my friend declined them taking it away since he wasn't done. Once we finished, they took away not only our empty dinner plates but also all the chip bowls on the table which still had plenty of chips in them that we were wanting to munch on as we finished our drinks. They whisked them all away so fast while we were in conversation that we couldn't ask to keep the chip bowls there. It felt like they were bussing the table while we were still there. The only things left were our drinks we were working on. We weren't even there for an overly long time, so it was odd to feel so rushed. It would've been nice if they asked if we were still eating the chips before taking them away, or we would've even taken them home so they wouldn't have been wasted. Other than that, the food was overall good. The guac and queso was great. My only complaint food-wise was that my steak tacos could've used more seasoning, and oddly had a slight fishy taste to them. The other waiters were also great and I could overhear them helping people that had never been there and it was so nice to hear them and their enthusiasm. Amazing food that even my picky kids ate! I ordered the sopes a week ago through door dash and was impressed so my family and I had to come in person and try even more of the delicious food offered here. We had the nachos with steak appetizer and it didn't last on our table, we also had the street corn, also known as "elote" for Mexicans and any other Latinos that eat corn with delicious toppings. Today I had the enchiladas suizas which were yummy and very filling. My husband had the carne asada plate and he ate it all! My youngest had a kids burrito and he was sooo happy and then my older son had the quesadilla Al pastor and was full off of just half of the quesadilla. We waited a while to make room for dessert because the ambience in there made us feel like we were home because we we're thankfully seated in a booth with privacy so we couldn't see th people who were next to us! Being Mexican, I am very picky about tres leches cake, the tres leches cake, churros and ice cream all took me back to my childhood trips to Mexico to visit my great grandparents! We visited this restaurant with my family last month and it was a pretty good experience. We started with some drinks, margaritas, beer, sangria, and a delicious Mezcalita! To share we had the Guacamole, it was good but too salty. We also ordered the Cheese Dip and it was good, the chips on both appetizers were delicious and fresh! For entrees, my aunt and uncle ordered the Camarones al Ajillo and they loved it. My boyfriend had the Al Pastor Tacos and said it was good but he didn't have any pineapple and that's a must ingredient in those types of tacos.
