    Steak tacos.

We regularly go to the one in Smithfield , and love it there but we're in the Warwick area with friends so decided to pop in. It's such a pretty place , very welcoming. I had a massive and tasty margarita. This thing was huge ! I had birria tacos as they are a fave of mine. Also huge. And very fresh. There is no frozen or pre made food here. Our server was attentive and kept a good eye on our drinks and salsa supply. I highly recommend them for a tasty dinner. P

I enjoy going to Condesa. I have never had a bad meal. When you arrive they are always welcoming. There was a short wait but they have a good amount of couches to sit and wait comfortably. After short wait, we got seated in a nice booth. The decorations fit the vibe of the restaurant. Our waiter was very friendly. I had a nice strawberry margarita and they give you chips and salsa. We got the cheese sauce too. I got fish tacos and tres leches for dessert. It was a great meal.

Condesa is one of my all time favorite Mexican restaurants. I love the atmosphere, it's very authentic and welcoming. Their margaritas are amazing, though not quite as big as they used to be..but I'm not drinking as much, so that works for me! Food was delicious as always, getting the guacamole and queso is a must for every group dinner. I love the enchilada, I've had them all. My friend got a burrito which was huge! Service was good, waitress allowed us all to order separately because we were paying with numerous credit cards. We were a group that was catching up but they didn't rush us out and allowed us to hang out and enjoy each other's company which was nice.

We went in on a Sunday night and we able to get two seats right away at the bar. The service was fantastic! All of our drinks were fantastic. The homemade tortilla chips came out warm and the salsa was thick and flavorful...very good! The Queso came out on a piping hot plate with 3 flour tortillas. Excellent flavor. The onions and poblanos were cooked perfectly. I had to try the rib eye tacos. Very good flavor with the the side Pico de Gallo. The avocado was just right and complimented the rib eye perfectly. We also go the Barbacoa Burrito, which was served as a wet burrito with the Pico de Gallo on top. Very large portion. I would have preferred it crispy with a red chimichurri. None of the food was spicy so I did ask for hot sauce. The prices are reasonable and the food is fresh and comes out quickly. Good place for to get your Mexican food fix right off the the highway.

Every time I've come to this restaurant, the food and service is amazing! They start you out with chips and salsa and refill for free. We didn't get guac this time, but I've gotten it in the past and is a definite must-try. My family and I went there for a birthday. We all got margaritas- the don, spicy orange, and a berry one (I can't find or remember the specific names). Burrito California: Amazing! Huge portion, definitely lunch for the next day, and maybe even dinner the next day lol. Enchiladas verde: Amazing again. Super simple, verde sauce, tortilla, and shredded chicken breast. Comes with 3 enchiladas. It also comes with an onion on top and a side of Spanish rice and black beans. Another big portion- had lunch for the next day. The Don is their most popular and comes with a side car (extra drink). Birria Tacos- So good. Comes with 3 tacos. Big portion, lunch for the next day. Comes with verde salsa and a side of Spanish rice and black beans. Cinnamon Churros: 3 churros with a sweet filling, side of blueberry sauce, and black raspberry ice cream. I don't know if I've ever had a churro before but that was definitely one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. The waiter was excellent as well. We went on a Saturday at 5:30pm and was seated immediately. Have been and will be back again many more times!!!

Beef roast tacos with Oaxaca cheese tortilla and a phenomenal chimichurrri sauce!!

¡Cinco estrellas! What a fantastic place for authentic Mexican food!! This is coming from a Spanish teacher who frequents Mexico and Latin America. The chips and salsa were so good! Salsa is a little spicy. Might I suggest they make a flight of spicy red salsa, sweeter red, and their to die for hot tomatillo salsa?? We ordered the beef roast tacos. Let me tell you...I'm a huge fan of tacos birria...and these blew them out of the park! Yummy cheese on the tortilla with Oaxaca cheese. The beef was perfectly cooked. And then the chimichurru sauce to put on top. ¡Delicioso! Then the margaritas!! Just fantastic with great flavor and made perfectly. If you haven't tried this place yet...it's a must! Shout out to our server, Esmeralda, who did a phenomenal job! Come try this place!!!

Time to update my review. Condesa is on our 'regular' rotation of local restaurants. We prefer the dinner menu over the lunch menu - more variety. The lunch menu gets you in and out quick. They have a full bar with a variety of margaritas available and a few beers on tap too. The dining room has mostly booth seating with the fair sized bar on one side with seating and two TV showing sports. Decor is festive, booth seating comfortable. Take out is picked up at the host/ess stand just inside the door. The host will seat you with menus for food and beverage. Plates and flatware wrapped in cloth napkins are on the table. A basket of warm corn chips and a spicy salsa are brought to the table by wait staff. Both the host and waiter recommended their new tequila drinks. We were ready to order when he returned with our beverages. A food runner brought our meals in a decent amount of time, and our waiter kept an eye on us. Before bringing our check, he suggested dessert and brought a take away box for left overs. The Barbacoa Chimichunga is a good portion size. Mild, tender and tasty. The sides are a spiced rice and pureed blackbeans. The beans were a bit salty. Enchiladas Mole was a big hit. Lots of flavor. Would order again. Plenty of shared parking with other businesses in the strip mall. Outdoor seating is available weather permitting. They get very busy on weekend evenings. A small waiting area is available near the host stand.

Pretty Mexican Restaurant in a plaza with plenty of parking. Been going here for years and thought I wrote a review already. Last time we went, we tried the Birria tacos which was neatly prepared. I got the guacamole with steak and fish ceviche. Guac is always excellent. I'd prob do the shrimp ceviche next time bc I'm not a fan of bacalao. Service is always great and fast. They also renovated the place so is even more aesthetically pleasing. The manager is also always so friendly and makes us happy to return.

Perfect spot for pics when you first walk in. Comfortable seating. Or waiter was so friendly and attentive and sociable. He made the experience so much better. The food was beyond what I expected. It was cooked perfectly, seasoned wonderfully. Their chips and salsa were hot and fresh. The guacamole was made fresh and simple so it tasted amazing! The margaritas alone are even worth coming back. I can't wait to taste more from their menu. Would highly recommend and will be back without a doubt!

Stumbled across this perfect spot in Warwick. The food was amazing, great portion size also!! Queso was just trick enough, I am a snob w my queso. Servers and Bar tenders were wonderful and on top of everything. Best Mexican spot I have been to in Rhode Island! Clean spacious area and bar has TVs as well.

Was looking for something for lunch in the area and I'm always up for something different. I can't…read moresay I was familiar with Frybread the food or location, but thought I'd give it a try. Upon entering the establishment, was greeted by Willie the owner. He couldn't be friendlier and was happy to talk about the various offerings as well his indigenous culture. I have a habit of over ordering when I'm indecisive, so I sampled a decent amount of food, but left some for next time. Started with the chicken stuffed frybread. I should start by saying that all sauces are made in house. Willie will tell you, he likes to cook and experiment, and these sauces demonstrate trial and error as they were all good and complimented the food really well. I had the gansett as a bowl. The spicy sauce was made with garden grown ghost peppers. It had good flavor and some kick, but far from outrageous spice, just great flavor. I got some pizza to go. A special that day was a quahog pizza, so I had to try it. It was like having a really good clams casino on pizza. Nice clam flavor complimented by the sauce and bacon. Delicious. I'll also add the house made lemonade was great and he can make it to your desired sweetness. All in all, it was a really positive experience. The place is colorful but small and only has three or four small tables to eat and the food took a bit to arrive, but the flavors and Willie himself overshadowed those things and made for a 5 star experience.

So much so, it was actually dripping when I picked up the frybread. The fries were also saturated with grease and were floppy and soft. The food didn't even look the same as what I saw on TikTok, so I'm not sure if I came on an "off" day or what. Maybe they had a different cook that day. Not sure. The other thing that is frustrating about this place is the hours are not consistent. It says they're open until 7pm but I've tried coming a few times and the place was closed even though the hours online say it's open. So it feels like a gamble sometimes when making the trip out there to get the food.

I was immediately impressed with the interior of this restaurant, it felt upscale and designed so tastefully, loved the atmosphere! Our serve was also really sweet, bubbly, and friendly too. This made our dining experience very pleasant. I order the Churro Iced Café Exprés for a drink, and it was so impressive looking. I loved that the churro was warm and the drink itself was really tasty. However, I think there was way too much whipped cream and not enough of the actual drink. For my main dish, I chose the Barbacoa Benedict - a super popular choice according to the waitress, and for good reason! The Benedict really was delicious, the meat was tender, the flavors popped, and I love a good bolo roll as a base. But, the homefries were SO salty. They were cooked nicely, but I couldn't enjoy them for more than a few bites. Overall, I really enjoyed Sombra as a brunch spot and would certainly visit again. It's a great brunch spot in a prime location.

Sombraaaaa! I've heard many positive things about dinner and drinks here, but no mention of brunch?…read moreWe'll, let me tell you, they know how to do brunch, too. Priced a little highly in my opinion- I got the meat Omelette. It was tasty, it had a fair bit of carne asada in it and it was well seasoned. It also had some bacon and chorizo in there if memory serves me. I thought the portion could have been a little bit better for $23, or better yet, just make it $18-19. There's no reason an Omelette should come with a $23 price tag. I was actually satisfied with the portion given the mound of home fries. Which by the way were very tasty albeit, over salted. The braised beef Benedict that my wife got was very good, my only critique on it would be to toast the bolo a bit more because the whole thing was one texture. It missed the crunch you get with an English muffin as the base. I also thought the beef could have been more seasoned. One other order at the table included the breakfast tacos. You get 4 tacos piled with food. Actually looked like you got more than the Omelette. Noted for next time. I didn't order this, but tried it at the table- the spiked horchata drink was tasty. A little heavy on the whipped cream but it was a good drink! We were surprisingly the only ones in there besides one other table. Doesn't seem like brunch has caught on here? Nonetheless, I think you should give it a try, we were well taken care of and there wasn't anything we didn't like.
