We had everything packed and ready, so it was pretty much pick up and go, which helped make the move smooth. They handled all of our items carefully and made sure everything was placed properly at the destination, especially taking care not to damage the wood floors. They moved everything from our 3-bedroom home in about 7 hours. We didn't have a huge amount of furniture, but they were still very organized and efficient. They also carefully moved our plants and placed them in the backyard. Chino led the team, and he was excellent--professional, knowledgeable, and exactly what we needed. They went above and beyond by wrapping and protecting items I hadn't even thought to protect, making sure everything arrived safely without a scratch. They partially disassembled my twin bed, transported it, and reassembled it flawlessly at my new place. I also have to commend them on their ability to move all my things up two flights of stairs since the elevator at my complex was broken! Given the context, it reads as retaliatory and connected to this dispute, and it's left me feeling unsafe given that this account and the people behind it are aware of where I live. Completely unprofessional. Response to owner: I'm not going to push it further than this. Only someone who has a stake in this company or helped me move that day would have been emotional and sent that message. I doubt another company would go those lengths when I already did a one star review, they would more likely target your 5 star reviewers. I'm not going to investigate this on your behalf because your method to verify is flawed and no one is going to own up to the issue and tell me the truth. You also told me over and over again people do this so they can blackmail you into paying them to remove the review so you were implying I was someone like that. Yelp has safeguards for that so your excuses don't match. I hope you manage your team and your company better as this move and $1500 continue to taunt me and I hope none of your future customers experience this.

I got one skilled mover and one that seems to have trouble figuring out how to move a dolly up and down a truck ramp. The communication with the phone coordinator was great for scheduling the week of. You have to make a deposit online, cash discount. My movers charged me correctly for the time, but it could've probably been done in an hour less with more efficient movers. Problem with the industry in itself is that movers are paid by the hour instead of the job itself. I do recommend this company, but these aren't the best movers I've used.

The first time was to help move items into a POD when we listed our home for sale. Fernando was so great to work with that we hired them again for our full cross-country move from California to New York once our home sold. What really stood out was how different they were from other moving companies -- our belongings were never combined with another shipment, they carefully packed and protected our large fragile items, and everything was wrapped and handled with incredible care. They made the cross-country move feel effortless, and our belongings arrived the day after we flew in. The entire process was seamless. Joel's team are truly moving rockstars, and we can't thank them enough. Selling a home and relocating across the country is stressful, but they made their part of the process completely stress-free for us. But I must say there is a concerning lack of professionalism in both communication regarding the logistics and handling of the furniture. They did not wrap/pad most of the furniture, did not disassemble the dining table until we asked, and during drop-off there did not seem to be much careful organization or consideration of which furniture to move in first. For example, they moved the TV in before the TV unit and thus had to put the TV on the floor in a way that could have damaged the TV screen when they later moved the TV unit into the room. On top of this we were never informed of the fact that if the move exceeds 10 minutes into the next hour we would be charged for the full hour. The original quote did not include all the fees that were later disclosed when we paid the full balance. When I expressed my concerns regarding their failure to communicate these fees beforehand, I was not given a sincere apology. Overall, the movers seem like very nice people and I sincerely appreciate their hard work, especially considering that one of the furniture (a rocking chair) was quite sizable and required some maneuvering to fit through the door and limited space at the drop-off location. However, I personally would not be using their service again and hope they can improve their workflow for other future customers.
