Fantastic service. I had a problem with my computer. Took it in, they identified the problem (power supply) and gave me a reasonable quote. I was in a rush for my business to get the computer back up a running the same day and they couldn't get the part in for a few days(it was the weekend). They gave me the part number I needed and didn't charge me anything for the inspection. I found the part on my own, but was thrilled enough to write this review. Came in to have a repair of the broken slot in the battery which a gentleman broke accidentally. It was a total fail and regret going to the other guy and could've brought my mac here for a battery replacement. :(These guys were sent from heaven to provide us with the best service and reasonable mac repair prices. Andy diagnosed and said to leave my mb pro w/ them overnight (very fast turnaround) and charged me $90 for the repair of the sensitive internal battery slot. These guys saved me a couple of bucks than if I had to bring it to Apple. Will definitely come back to have my battery successfully replaced soon. Andy and Guy are the best. read more

My initial reaction to the entire process... "WOW"!!! Just wow. I needed the track pad and keyboard replaced. I have a 13" Macbook Pro. All of the other places i called said it would be at least 3 to 5 days for the parts to arrive and about another day or two for the work to be done. New World Mac got it done in... drum roll...... This place is awesome. My work computer was missing a functional "delete" key (I think either it was broken or got replaced with the wrong key). I took it to the Apple store and they said it would cost $300 to replace the whole keyboard and probably a week to do so. Huh? It's just one key-- I realize it's a little old, but honestly, $300? Plus, it was my work computer, I needed it for work... like, that day. I took it to New World Mac for a second opinion. They literally fixed the key in under 3 minutes, and didn't charge me for it ("that was easy, why would we charge you?" was their response I believe). Thank God for this place. Great place to get your Mac fixed! My computer all of a sudden died and was not charging at all. It was completely dead! Tried resetting and checking the battery button on the side... no life! It felt like I had a mini heart attack when this happened. I looked up Mac Computer Shops around my area and found New World Mac as the best fit. They do not charge for diagnostics so I went there right away. Very affordable and Andy knows what he is doing! He was very helpful and he even cleaned my computer! It's so fresh and so clean now. Okay. Always go to this guy. He just saved me $200 and fixed my video camera in my Mac for free. Never go to that place downtown. Know why? If you do you might go 2 YEARS without the video camera in your computer working because they didn't bother to look inside when they estimated the work and cost for fixing it 2YEARS AGO!!!! If they had opened it up and checked like Andy here did they woulda seen it was just a loose connection. For frick's sake?!?!? So always go to Andy at new world Mac.
