I'm always a fan of their banh mi, especially the grill pork banh mi. It's a great portion with good price. Their grill pork is tender and flavorful, the more you bite into the banh mi the better it gets! This time we tried their iron pan steak(?) with banh mi. Excited for the different spring roll options like pork skin and nem nuong. Frustrated that no place around seems to have authentic ingredients inside. They all almost use shredded iceberg instead of fresh herbs like mint cilantro or the dark green leafy lettuce. Trying to take the cheaper way out i assume idk. Very good option to try all the different options. Given the name, I assume pho is the star here. The pho did not disappoint, it was spectacular. The broth was beefy and robust, noodles cooked to just the right consistency. I got the XL, went big. It's a BIG bowl. I was impressed with the amount of noodles in the soup. Many places do not give you much noodles when you order a large or XL but not New Super Pho. They make sure you get enough noodles to finish the soup. Awesome pho. I usually get the bun Bo hue. Their version could be more spicy but it's really tasty anyway. Last time I came here I tried their pho. It was so good!!! Which is a huge contrast from when I came here the first time many many years ago. There was a limited time seasonal list and banh xeo was part of the list. I asked for it continuously for months and they kept saying they didn't have it. Another time they told me they had it. Only to tell me minutes later they didn't have it. Before I start, there are a lot of restaurants in Duluth that are open past midnight. This place is one of them. We were seated immediately, which wasn't surprising because there were a lot of tables in this place. Once we sat down, we got our drinks and our orders were taken immediately. We ordered the seafood pho and bon muc. The pho was good, but didn't taste like that I was used to. It had this distinct taste to it, but still good. The bon muc came out a few minutes after we got the pho, but the food was good and the egg rolls were fresh and crispy. We also ordered a strawberry smoothie, as well as a mango smoothie. It wasn't what I expected it to be, so would not recommend it. The only complaints I have besides the smoothies is about how the food didn't come out at the same time. This place is such a great late night spot. Way better quality than any of the 24 phos. My only con is you will SMELL like pho/viet food when you leave so be prepared for that. First time here and they seemed pretty busy. I told the server I wanted to order take out, he didn't give me a menu and I was in a hurry so I ordered what I knew they would have. I got a small chicken noodle pho with both meats. After I placed my order I was told it would be a 10 min wait. The server just left me standing there so I went ahead a took a seat at the nearest empty table. There was only 2 servers and about 8-9 tables with customers. I waited for about 8 mins, got my food and left. The bag had fell over while I was driving and there was no spills! :) When I got to my destination, I decided to eat first. Server was able to get our order in after 15mins wait. It's an open kitchen setting where you can see the chefs cooked up all the delicious dishes. I ordered the Special Pho (Pho Dac Biet). The broth had an aromatic smell with savory sweetness of the beef flavor. It serve together with a plate of steam beansprout (raw fresh beansprout available upon request) and basil, work well to add depth to the flavor. Each table equipped with a container that hold chopsticks, soup spoon, sauce cup and a set of condiments (Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce). There are many options other than Pho for those who want to try something else. Overall, I highly recommended this place. New Super Pho has always been my go-to pho joint when I wanted late night pho. I was able to stop by here with my family before my flight back to DFW. What I like about pho places are that they're usually super quick with their food so you can really be in and out. Unfortunately -- when we went this time, there was a bit of a wait. It was almost too long and we were wondering where our food was. It took around 15 minutes for us to get our food, which is definitely more than the usual wait. I ordered the medium pho with eye round steak and the fatty brisket and I haven't had pho in a while, but I was shocked at how much pho prices rose... $12.99 for the medium size and $18.99 for the XL?! Inflation is real man.. Anywho -- after we received our food after 15 minutes, we were able to dig in right away. I do like Super Pho but I was pretty disappointed in the meat portion in my dish because there definitely could have been some more pieces of meat. Our service was pretty lackluster so I wanted to give 15% tip but they bring the credit card processor to your table so you have to select in between 18%, 20%, 22% or 25%, which I thought was pretty ridiculous. Usually good food and depending on the music, ambience is nice. But had a shady experience with a payment. When it was time to pay, I was told a certain amount. I read a lot of reviews complaining about the tips situation. I didn't experience it at all. First of they were really really busy at 9:30 pm on a Monday night. Almost all tables were filled up and there were a few pickup orders here and there. They only have 3 people working the floor. And they are making drinks, too. I got a table right when we got in. Take 5-10 mins for them to take our orders. Take another 10 or so for our food to come out. Again, for only 3 servers they were moving non stop. Our table were clean! So do the rest of the restaurant. I haven't been here before so I asked him for recommendations. He was really helpful saying Hu Tieu and Bun Bo Hue is really good ( I do speak Vietnamese so I don't know if that makes the difference). Took his advice and I love it. I expect it to be spicy but it's not so it's up to your references. I was happy with what I got. I tried my friend's pho. She ordered meat balls I think but she already put a lot of hoisin sauce in so I not sure if the pho comes sweet like that or she made it sweet. Our nem nuong goi cuon was ok. The rice paper was a bit dry but overall all tasted good. For a busy Monday night we were honestly pleased with our experience. Only minus was the drink. My friend ordered a tea but it took like 30mins for it to come out because the kitchen doesn't make drinks the servers do. I don't know if it makes a difference but we did paid in cash I don't have any issues. He even brought the change back so they never did mention we have to leave them tips what so ever. This is probably the best pho I've ever had! Their Thai Tea tastes like a great quality brew compared to others I've had. The service was great and food came very quickly! At the time they had a nicely decorated dining table to the side for Valentine's Day. I don't know if they kept the area but it made me interested to come in next time and get the special table. Pretty much a solid late night Pho spot. It's open until 2 AM daily and after a concert where pretty much everywhere was closed, I stopped by this joint. It's a bit expensive but I'm not sure if that's because I don't go to pho places often since my mom makes it. I'm from out of town. They have a unique offering that I haven't seen anywhere else: Pho Bo Hue. Basically it's a cross between Bun Bo Hue and Pho where they put Pho noodles and meats (meatball, tribe, brisket) into the Bun Bo Hue broth. This broth is spicier, richer, and overall more flavorful than Pho broth typically. I would say it's a decent combination but would rather have Pho or Bun Bo Hue in it's original form respectively. Service was friendly, but not as attentive as I would like. However, the food was above average. Considering how late business hours were, I was very pleased with how everything tasted.
