I wanted roasted red or green peppers with the tips instead. Steak tips were just ok and needed a marinate or side of a dipping bbq sauce or mushroom sauce or anything. Spinach, mashed potatoes needed more butter or garlic flavoring... fresh tasting but bland. Needs more steak tips too for the price tag. It was a nice bar vibe for drinks. The chicken wing lollipops I saw for an appetizer looked tasty. I left hungry for more steak tips and wanted a charcoal char on my tips . It works equally well for after-work drinks, a full meal, date night, or dinner with family and friends. The menu has a good range of options, although seafood is clearly the star and what they're best known for. There's enough variety that everyone should be able to find something. Drinks - Surprisingly impressive drink menu. They offer a strong selection of cocktails, beers, and wines from a variety of places. The quality and variety were especially good considering the price point. Whether you're stopping in just for drinks or pairing something with dinner, there are plenty of good options. Chicken - I went with the grilled chicken, and it was excellent. Well-seasoned, flavorful, and a surprisingly substantial meal. The portion is definitely designed to fill you up, so bring your appetite. I'd highly recommend it, especially if seafood isn't what you're looking for. Pro tip: Parking is limited, but the restaurant is very close to the Kendall Square T station on the Red Line. Public transit is probably the easiest option. Pro tip: 242 Fries are a great appetizer for 2-4 people. Pro tip: If you're visiting during the winter or coming for a date night, request a table away from the entrance. The front and bar areas can get drafty and noticeably louder when the restaurant is busy.

Drinks and service were fantastic and I loved the vibe and music in the background, old school rap/hip hop from my era. I will definitely be back!

It's still Tree House's beer but it's kind of bastardized. Imagine putting a Michelin star restaurant in a food court next to a Chic Fil A. It loses some of its luster. I went up to the makeshift portable bar and they had I am guessing 8-10 beers on tap. No flights. So, I ordered the girlfriend and I each a beer which were poured into plastic to-go cups. She got a Julius and I got an Ultimate Haze, both excellent. The atmosphere is just open mall area and then an outdoor atrium, both kind of blah. There was a kiosk to buy gear and a cooler around the corner to buy canned beer to go. Next time I will rent a car and go to one of the real brewery locations but for now I will be thankful that I could basically get a Julius hazy IPA next to an Orange Julius. Ha!

Food was incredible, the blue cheese pizza had a RIDICULOUS amount of blue cheese on it. My mom thought it was too strong, I reheated it at home with an extra slice of bread. The muffin was fantastic and th burger was great too. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Cozy little spot with a pizza oven and an open kitchen (elite combo). Plenty of seating. I went for a weekday dinner and was served instantly. Started with the oyster bombs ($17 for 3) because oyster + tuna is a power couple. Fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned with mayo and chives...gone in 30 seconds. My server convinced me to get the spicy clam, and it was devoured so fast. It was gone before he filled my water! Packed with clam meat, drowning in tomato sauce, and it actually had heat --not that "we waved a chili at it" kind of spicy. I fully intended to have some for the next day and then aggressively did not. Final verdict: cozy vibes, bold flavors, zero self-control, and I will absolutely be back.

My daughter got the fried fish tacos with rice. She was pleased with it. The only complaint was that the waiter never came back to fill our waters as I was so thirsty with all the food. First, the beers and food sections are separate and owned by different businesses so even if you start a tab at the bar, you need to get the card back to pay for food. Seems like an inefficient system especially during peak hours but what do I know. They could look into posting a sign that makes this clear. Maybe it was a busy time, maybe they were under-staffed, but when I went to close out my tab (at the correct spot!), the bartender tossed the credit card and receipt at me and walked away. I don't want to say the tired line of how, if I was a guy, he wouldn't have treated me this way, but it was the rudest encounter I've had to date at any bar in Boston. Food: Options were pretty limited and took awhile to be ready but my cheese slice was delicious. They also had a lychee panna cotta that looked good. Parking: Most of the surrounding parking spots are permit-only so if you're coming not on a Sunday, be sure to double check. There are some meter spots further down Broadway.

I got my usual flight to start that included 2 hazy IPA's, a pale ale, and a blonde. The beer types were pretty standard. I didn't see anything crazy, but all were solid to really good. My favorite was the One IPA to Rule them all (hazy). For lunch the lady friend and I split a French Fries flight which is parmesan fries with 3 different dipping sauces. What a great idea. One of the sauces was a cilantro ranch (delish) and the other 2 appeared to be something similar to Raisin' Cane's sauce (I don't like mayo so I didn't try). The fries were a little soggy though. I also got an order of Gochujang and lime sauced wings. These were phenomenal! The best wings I have had in a long time, maybe ever! Holy Shit, I want to go back to Boston just to eat these again.
