A nice grill and bar tucked away in East Cambridge. My boyfriend and I came here for a drink after dinner and had a nice experience. We sat at the bar and got to watch football on the tv. I ordered the Aphrodite drink which was super tasty and was aesthetically pleasing--there was an orchid flower inside of the ice cube! My boyfriend liked his Caipirinha as well. We didn't get any food this time around but the menu had some good options. Plus we really liked the vibes inside as the decor made it feel really classy and elevated. Our bartender was attentive as well. Located right near Lechmere so accessible by train or 2 hour street parking. They also have a patio with outdoor seating.

Cocktails time! Great place to come after work for a quick cocktail! My coworker and I stopped by and there was plenty of nice seating around their beautiful bar! I couldn't resist and ordered a taco plate along with my spicy jalapeno mango margarita! The combo really got the spot! The dish tacos tasted fresh and nice and crunchy. I quickly devourrd them! The margarita was nice and strong and spicy! Very dangerous because I wanted to get more! The bartender was very attentive and made sure our glasses were not empty. I enjoyed the music and ambiance of the place and noticed alot of work groups were starting to gather. This is definitely a trendy spot that offers a variety of drinks and food! Perfect for group meet ups!

Very nice addition to Lychmere. Plenty of room at low and high top tables plus a wrap around bar with nice leather stools. TVs everywhere to catch the games with fans of every team in attendance for our visit. Lively sports bar atmosphere with the bartenders getting into the games as well. Fine drink list and good food - nachos, flatbread, and fries was perfect for NFL Sunday. Very welcoming and friendly waitresses. Street parking was non existent but convenient lot with reasonable prices at 2 Canal Park down the street.

Just what Cambridge Crossing needed was a local bar to hangout, watch the game, and have a couple of drinks! Food: The food here is definitely better than other bar food but nothing special. They do have really good fries though! Their quesadilla hit the spot after a couple drinks but not my favorite. I had their pesto chicken sandwich and wished it had more pesto. The chicken was really juicy though. Their drinks really steal the show though. Their caiprinha is a must try and they have nitro espresso martini which is also very nice. Service: Very quick service. The servers are also nice. Only thing is they don't bring you water unless you ask. Ambiance: Great music and perfect to go if you want to watch a game.

Wonderful tucked away sports bar. Because it's in this nook by Lechmere station, it doesn't seem to get over packed like a tavern-in-sq. I even hesitate to write a review for this spot because lowkey I want to keep this a hidden gem They've got a very healthy draft beer menu, I picked a Pilsner, it was delicious Wife and I got these steak-cheese egg rolls - wonderful twist on an Asian-American classic. Really enjoyed that. And for our meals we shared a burger and fish and chips. Very baseline bar food. The burger was juicy and beautifully charred, the fish and chips were alright, not memorable but not terrible tldr; casual, lowkey sports bar that I'll probably frequent more often during the warmer months since it's close to where I work and where I live. Excellent vibes only because it's so low key

Service was amazing, Andres was a fantastic host and the environment was nice. Drinks were delicious and had a lot of flavor. When our food didn't come out, Andre's checked on us and made sure our food came out hot and ready. The mango salmon had so much flavor and had great presentation! It's a bit of a pricey spot but very worth it!

New place opened up down the street from my spouses work. Wanted to check it out and it was a beautiful day for a walk. Located in a new apartment complex, they are still completing the finishing touches, mostly outside. Very big space with variety of indoor and soon to be outdoor seating. Many TV's and a large bar. The staff was very friendly and we were seated quickly. The menu offers a variety of options and it was really good. Had the beet salad with chicken and enjoyed it immensely. Not sure when they opened, but so far so good. There is a lot of potential for an incredible neighborhood bar and restaurant. Will go back again and bring friends.

Wild Mushroom Risotto with Steak tips

We had an event there tonight and the staff were responsive and very helpful. Service was a bit slow but can't blame them for being busy tonight also considering they recently just opened. Probably avoid the popcorn shrimp as it was just disgustingly hard and barely had shrimp. Calamari was so-so but acceptable. It's like a cross between north end calamari and the bar calamari's. Colleagues would rate the truffle rib eyes as 7.5/10. Wild mushroom risotto with steak tips were solid 8.5/10. Staff, ambience and food were exemplary and we'd host our events here again! Oh, cocktails were 10/10

Tap 151 was a nice experience after a long drive. We walked to the restaurant from our hotel. It was very convenient to the T Green Line, as well. The bar/restaurant has TVs everywhere and I was able to watch the NBA playoffs and a Red Sox game at the same time. I walked in with my family and was seated very quickly. We ordered drinks and our food. All of which came pretty quickly. My daughter is gluten free and ordered the garlic parm wings. They let us know cross contamination was possible but she's ok with it. I ordered the Million Dollar Cheeseburger but subbed the American cheese for cheddar because cheddar is better. It was very good. Fries were about average. I lik3d that their beer list had it listed where each beer was from because I like to make sure in drinking local when I travel. All in all it was great meal. I'd recommend!

We were looking for a place on Thanksgiving that wasn't serving strictly Thanksgiving food and this was the perfect option. Their menu is extensive and there are so many options to choose from. I really loved everything I ordered, especially the drink. I also loved the aesthetics and the interior of the restaurant. It had a sport's bar element to it, but it was still very elegant and clean. Our waiter was so kind and helpful. This place saved the day for us and we were all glad to be there.

It was really good very efficient. The food was also very good. Loved the decorations inside as well.

Pretzels and short rib quesadillas

Great pretzels with sea salt and short rib quesadillas! The dip for the pretzels was super good and the horseradish went really well with the short rib. Nice place, clean, friendly. We will be back for more.

Wow talk about a hidden gem!…read more I hadn't heard much about this place so I wasn't sure what to expect-- located in Inman square with nearby limited street parking (there's a metered lot on Springfield street nearby!), Oak Bistro is a medium sized restaurant with a simple but chic decor and true focus on hospitality. When we came in we were greeted and our coats were taken and put away. They have rotating specials that our server walked us through. We ordered all three of the mock tails on the menu -- Odin's Oracle was a sparkling elderflower and passion fruit drink, the Northern Rose was fruity with a slight thick cream of coconut base (and the tables favorite!) and the last drink was a warm ginger drink. They all came out looking beautiful. For food, we started with the Halloumi Cheese which was delicious and perfect for sharing (comes with four pieces), then tried the Blueberry Ricotta Cornbread (really well made and yummy but needed a little more butter spread) and the fried burrata (huge serving of burrata with balsamic, fig jam, warm bread, just as good as it sounds). We tried the Braised Short Rib Croquettes which were stuffed with short rib and topped with sooo much yummy cheese. We also had the Pappardelle braised shore rib Ragu which was truly delicious-- would highly recommend. For dessert we tried a special menu bread pudding which was a perfect end to the night. Our leftovers came perfectly packaged in little baggies with dish names and dates written on them which is so cute and thoughtful! Overall I would order everything we got again and was so pleasantly surprised by the caliber of food at Oak Bistro-- get in and try it before it gets too popular!

Everything and everyone we encountered were just lovely! Our server was a delight. Slightly shy and a bit pensive at first. She opened up as we interacted. The interior is beautifully decorated. Interior design was spot on to me and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Bravo! Why is it empty?? Restaurant business if tough man! Here sits a great place and no one is there. I really hope they kill it at night as our visit was at lunch. I absolutely loved my sandwich and think about it often still to this day. Beautifully grilled and crunchy, with a great beefy/oniony taste. The au jus was rich and flavorful and oh so good. Fries were fresh and also banging as well. C's dish of the thousand layers of really thin potato slices was probably the coolest thing we had to eat on our trip to the northeast. Wonderful dish with an excellent presentation! The piles of pecorino were an instant swoon. Very time consuming dish to prepare well. I applaud them for having it on the menu. All in all, a total memory maker kind of place that I do hope to return to someday. Until then, take care and keep up the good work! '26 - 10

I went for my graduation dinner, and they had a hand written card at the table waiting for me to wish me congratulations. To start, we had the focaccia bread to share and clam chowder, so delicious. The chicken was the juiciest I've ever had, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the pasta was so flavorful. The presentation was great as well. Vanessa was our server, and she was so kind, helpful, and attentive. After seeing another table get the oysters, we asked the restaurant manger, Dan, what they ordered. After explaining it to us, I told him I never had oysters so he gave us the appetizer for free to try! Although we commuted from Cambridge, this meal was worth it. For two people, we got: - Black Seed Cornbread: it's soft, sweet yet savory. I've never had cornbread like this, and the first bite into this was unforgettable. You must get this. - Honey Nut Hummus: this was honestly fine and I'd probably try a different dip next time. - Warm Gyro bread: well seasoned and great to share between two. I normally don't like gyro but I enjoyed this. - Lamb al pastor: this was a favorite. It was sweet and the lamb was tender. We were really impressed with the sauce. - Brussel sprout bravas: this was okay. I liked the crunchy nuts and the star of this dish was once again the sauce/seasoning rather than the brussel sprouts. With all of these dishes, we ordered enough for two, with a few bites leftover. If you have a smaller appetite, you could get away with ordering a plate less. Overall, I loved the dining experience here. Even though I'm not typically a small plates mediterranean person, I appreciated Sarma - from its beautiful interior space and open kitchen concept, to the liveliness of the restaurant on a random weekday night. Definitely come here if you're in the area (or even if you're not!)

The food was overly salty, and the portions were very small.... even for tapas style dining. The flavor profiles just weren't there. The only thing that I would say tasted good was the cornbread and lamb skewer (which was definitely overpriced still). The cornbread was impressive and the ingredients made for a unique flavor. Service was also underwhelming. While the staff did their job, there wasn't much warmth or attentiveness and we didn't feel welcomed. We left feeling pretty disappointed given the hype and effort it took to get a reservation.
