WOW! This was my second time there. The first time was AWESOME! Just so you know, I get pedicures every 2 weeks and my feet aren't nasty black hooves or anything like that. I mean, she didn't even need the belt sander or anything. Added to that, I did shower this morning...anyhoo. This time I had Jessica. She was so distracted and so disconnected and I got the feeling that I was putting her out. She couldn't even look at me. She was kinda half ass scrubbing and staring out the window. She was rough when doing my cuticles and wrenched my knee (which is injured) because my foot wasn't in the correct position to accommodate her. All she had to do was ask and I would have been happy to adjust my position. Then, when she was massaging (i use that term very loosely), she was staring out the window and it felt like it made her sick to touch me. I ended up stopping her shortly after she started the massage portion of my torture session and asked her to just skip it and polish the toes so I could go. Then, she actually thought that I would let her do my manicure. No way sister. I need to go home and wash of the hate and disgust you were touching me with. Look, I can understand and appreciate the fact that her job is not so glamorous or exciting. I have worked many many long hard days in not so exciting customer service positions myself. However, when people come in for service, they want to be treated with dignity and respect and made to feel as if you actually care (even if you don't) about them. If your job sucks that much, go find something else to do. Life is too short to be that hostile and unhappy. read more

Found this place just searching for near by ...I was seen immediately. They lady was very nice! Showed me additional colors and knew exactly what I was looking for ..Shop and tools seemed clean. I got the mani pedi for $35. Prices seemed a little on the higher end compared to near by places but def will go back when I'm ready for my full set read more

Other than that horrible service they did my nails and they came out like garbage when I told him to redo it they said to not pay and not come back I wanted to tip the nail technician and he said don't worry about it and not to come back the worst professionalism I have ever seen I will never recommend anyone to come to this place. What kind of establishment tells you to not pay and not come back for a service it's absolutely absurd. Don't go there unless they change their staff. I normally don't leave bad reviews but I was highly disappointed in my first and last experience at New Nails. I went in 5/19/19 on a Sunday and they were behind which is fine. But once the nail technician Van was assigned to he did such a rush job on my toes. No sort of foot massage at all, very rough and fast. Once he got to my nails to do the dip nail powder, he tore up every single one of my cuticles and I told Van that he was hurting me and he did not apologize and continue to tear up my other hand. After he was done he sprayed my nails with alcohol which burned so bad, I complained but yet still got no apology. He left all the nail dip paint on my fingers surrounding my nail. I went to sit next to my friend who was getting her nails done by Jenny and she heard me complaining so she helped remove the extra nail powder on my finger. Jenny seemed very detailed oriented and when she cut my friend cuticle she apologized and gave her Neosporin for her finger. Never again...mgmt or something else has changed. NEVER, have i been charged extra if they needed to use a grater on your calluses. $3 for that. 3 colors another $3...even though it's still the same amount of polish. Oh...I'll open the other 2 bottles all of the seconds. Then to top it off, flip flops and for dividers, they don't have a trash receptacle inside. Take them out and put them in the shopping centers trash receptacle. Are you serious?????? Place has gone way downhill...too many other places to go here!! read more

i am only giving this place 1 star because of the decent job done on my nails if i was giving a star rating for attitude, however, i'd give it NEGATIVE 100 stars KIM was my technician she did a decent job - but she IS NOT friendly or nice in any way - LIKE EVERY OTHER ASIAN NAIL SALON - THEY TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP got my nails done on 2.6.2015 and they already looked grown out one week later - called her on VALENTINE'S DAY - because i wanted my nails to look good that night as we were going out - even though i just went to her one week before - i made an appt - couldn't make it by that time called and asked if i could come 1/2 hr after - she said "if i'm not busy i going home early today" i said "ok - well i will just come there and if you are gone, you are, but if you're there, you can still do my nails, right?" she said "yes" so i drove there - walked in door - she was checking someone else out at front desk - she gave me the DIRTIEST NASTIEST LOOK that made it painfully obvious she DID NOT want to do my nails - did not say hello - nothing - walked back to the pedicure station where she was doing a pedicure i tried to ask guy manager type if she could do my nails, he said "oh no, she's busy" then i asked girl at first chair if kim could do my nails - she said "no, she's too busy - she's sorry" KIM NEVER SAID SHE WAS SORRY - but obviously this other lady felt bad she KIM was acting so rude, so said it for her. she didn't say hello, i can't take you, i'm busy, sorry, goodbye, NOTHING i have only been to her one time and gave her a $5 tip for a $14 fill - guess that wasn't good enough I DON'T CARE HOW GOOD YOU DO NAILS - IF YOU ARE A RUDE BITCH - YOU'RE NOT GOING TO KEEP CUSTOMERS. Really nice and new and the owners are so nice but I got my nails done by Kim and she was so rude. She told me I'm annoying because it was my first time getting powder dip and I didn't know the process and asked about it. She made me feel uncomfortable the whole time and was so mean I wanted to cry while sitting there. Not to mention she saved the blue mint gel she uses for pedicures after putting her finger in it after touching my feet , saved it for the next guest. Pretty unsanitary . I went in to get Acrylic nails. The girl who did it was completely distracted. My nails were lumpy and the polish was uneven. I told the girl at the counter. She said to come back any time and they will redo them. So I went yesterday and told them instead of redoing them, just take them off. The nail tech was really rough and unfriendly. He filed my nails down so much that they are all dented and they still have glue on them. I had told them I wanted a pedi. Worse pedicure. Not relaxing at all. Again he was very rough. He didn't even let my feet soak beforehand. Just put them in cold water for 30 seconds. At the end they charged me full price to remove the nails which was due to their screw up. Finally found my new nail salon. After many attempts at multiple locations here in Davie. Kim is great. I wanted a gel fill and natural nail color. I told her how the last place I went to cut my cuticles and I needed a fill within a week due to them drilling the applied fill away. She did not disappoint. This place went through a huge renovation, and it's better than ever. This location is pristinely clean, well kept, and organized. The receptionist is a doll. There are tons of colors to pick from. I must say that it is on the more expensive side, $25 a pedicure, but I got my money's worth. Jessica did my pedicure, and it was an amazing experience. She took her time, scrubbed well, and painted good, too. My feet are super soft now. I didn't rate it 5 stars simply because of the price. read more

This is an affordable salon with techs who do good quality work. That being said, I got a nasty case of ringworm on one foot, I'm assuming due to unwashed foot baths. If you go to this salon, ask them to wash the basin in front of you; never can be too careful. read more

Well I mean this place used to be my go to nail tech ever since I was little up until today. I called Jenny and asked if there was someone available to do a polish change. I get there and she apologizes and says "I'm so sorry I didn't recognize your voice someone was avaliable to do a regular polish change not gel I have an appointment after this customer and so does Kim I'm so sorry about that can you please come back another time maybe later on or tomorrow?" So I replied and I said "sure I'll come back tomorrow no problem it's okay." Then I walk back to my car and I call the place, Jenny answers and I ask, "Hey I just came in Jenny and I was wondering if I could make an appointment with Kim tomorrow at 6?" And then she talks in Vietnamese to kim and basically asks for her availability. Now Jenny replies "I'm so sorry to say this but Kim cannot do your nails." I ask "well how come?" She says "because Kim said that she cannot please you." And I ask "so that means that she won't be doing my nails anymore?" And she said "yes." I said "okay." And then hungup. I go there quite often just to get a polish change and I really don't think that's right for Kim to do and say that she can't do my nails anymore because she can't please me. First of all I never said anything to Kim about her doing a bad job because I genuinely think that she does amazing nails but I guess she assumed that she can't please me all because I go there often to get a polish change. I change my mind a lot about colors at times so what? That doesn't mean that you as a nail tech do a bad job on my nails. But whatever. Never coming back especially if I feel like I'm not wanted there. Moral of the story; if you change your polish a lot, don't come here. I don't understand how this place has 5 stars. It should be top notch in order to receive the best. I am extremely disappointed with my visit. First impression, the place was run down. Second, the nail polishes were old and you can tell they were adding other substances in it and not replacing them. One nail polish was goopy. The pedicure was decent for the price. However my shellac manicure was absolutely terrible. And the worst thing is that the lady knew it. I showed a picture of what I wanted and it was far from it. They could've told me that they couldn't do it. The polish was goopy and she tried fixing it by using a cutter to cut the excess. Basically messing up my perfect naturally grown nails. I am beyond upset that they didn't offer to give a discount or just redo it completely. I advise you to beware if you decide to come here. It's not up to the standard and I am getting my nails redone as a result of the poor job they did. Oh and I paid $33 dollars for the shellac manicure. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I decided to try this place out since a friend goes there and loves it. She usually gets the dip powder service. I don't like applying anything to my nails so I decided to go just for a manicure. The receptionist was nice and the place looked clean but the manicure service wasn't good at all. I was asked if I wanted them to be cut or filed since my nails were long. I specifically said just to file since I wanted to keep some of the length and I wanted almond shape. She proceeded to ask me over and over about cutting. I answered politely and said no cutting because they will end up too short. The first hand had slight issues with the shape which I addressed and she took care of but my other hand was a complete disaster. She over filed them so now they are shorter than I wanted them and specifically stated that in the beginning and they were all misshaped. I do a better job filing and shaping them at home and I'm not a professional. I didn't even bother with the nail polish since I'm going to have to fix them at home. I ended up paying just for cuticle clean up which was an okay job. As for other services they might be good I don't know I didn't try them, but when it comes to a decent regular manicure, DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE JUST DO IT AT HOME IT'LL COME OUT BETTER. read more

I went in no appt. and was immediatly taken care of not the half hour wait of every other nail spot I've been. Great prices and Quality from mani/pedis to bikini waxing. Jenny my nail tech was extremely gentle, easy to talk,& best of all great at her job. Mynails are glass smooth. Got a pedi and fills for pink and whites, also eyebrow waxed...I liked the pedi, only thing I didn't like was the pedicure chairs are so close together,uncomfortable for me. I have been coming to New Nails for about 7 years. I have always had my Pedi's done only by Tina and Ivy. I get my nails (Pink & Whites) done only Jenny. Not only do they do a great job, they make my visit very enjoyable. My acrylics last a very long time as well. actually, I have never had a nail break or come off. I probably pass about 10 other nail salons to get to them. Even though I don't live that close, I will always go out of my way to go there, and I will never go anywhere else!
