If there was a 2.5 star I would rate this place that but I think it belongs on the lower end between 2 and 3. I give it 2 stars because the staff was so sweet even though they're not good, and the salon is nice, and they were quick. However if you're going to be quick be good. I won't be coming back here, nothing bad really happened to me, I just feel like I could do my dip nails myself but it takes me way too long and the way they left my nails, was even worse to how I do it myself. They charge for shaping nails, and for fake tip and charge an extra dollar for covid sanitation. My nails are lumpy and there's spaces everywhere. I'll display a photo of my own work with dip polish and the work of the techs. I had also cut my toenails before going to the salon, and I cut them square. The regular nail polish only lasted 2 days. I know regular nails typically don't last long anyway but it should've been more than that. My friend was also very displeased with her shape. When she tried to speak up, the technician said "the last place did it wrong so he has to fix it." when she asked him to be less aggressive with the tools as it was hurting her, he rolled his eyes and said he has to do it that way. My wife went to get her nails done and she decided to take the first nail technician available and unfortunately she ran into the worst one she has ever encounter, she started poking her really hard and my wife ask kindly if she could go easier but ignored her and kept doing it really hard on her, to the point that she asked to stop and the lady got really mad and started yelling and saying who knows what in another language. She was very disrespectful and rude, mi wife asked for a name and a manager and was not give either or. I went with my sister to get a pedicure. We were waiting for nearly 30 minutes before before the lady that did her pedicure came up. She was sweet and did her nails beautifully. I then waited 15 more minutes and the guy that did my pedicure was abrupt, quick, and didn't do a good job at all. My whole pedicure lasted maybe 15 minutes. Staff was all super nice.. The manager was the nail tech I had and she was very friendly and talented! Never write reviews, but this was just too terrible. One of the worst nail experiences. My friend got a mani-pedi and I came in intending to get acrylics. They were very rough with both of our hands and my friend's feet. I told the lady I wanted acrylics but she ignored me and gave me gels instead. My friend's mani-pedi (with gel polish) and my gels were the same price ($65). It felt like they were trying to break our fingers and were clearly getting frustrated when our fingers weren't bending in unnatural ways. She ripped my cuticles off 3 times and I was bleeding throughout. Did not like the design she gave me either. My friend's polish on one of her toes also came off after a few hours. Take your business somewhere else! They advertise cheap prices, but end up overcharging. read more

I came in for a hard gel fill and two of my nails needed A new set but the girl insisted on fake tips even though I'm doing hard gel on my natural nails. I also requested them to be super pointy which they are not and I kept asking her to fix them but they still turned out horrible. And on top of that I was charged way over what I was told. I've never been so embarrassed in my entire life. I've been coming here for over a year. I've seen the same nail teach Kim and we've had a good relationship since I come every two weeks. The last time I came my nail color didn't match with my toes and I mentioned this to her, all I said was literally I don't think they match but it's ok paid and left as usual. Yesterday, (2 weeks later) I went back and once she saw I was there she walked over without saying hello or anything she says to me, make sure you pick your color and that it matches I don't want the same problem as last time! She even walked to the paints and grabbed a color and made an example of color matching, and walks away. I was shocked because I'm not problematic at all and there were a few people and they were looking, so obviously I was embarrassed . So I waited 30 mins which never happens since I have an appointment, but ok, finally she called me over to her chair and I asked her calmly, I'm not sure what happened but I didn't have a problem last time and you were rude to me just now as soon as I walked in. She literally takes her tray and says I'm not doing your nails and walks away. I was so confused, mind you I have my 7 year old who's watching this and I'm going out of town so it's not like if I can leave and go elsewhere plus it's 6pm. So another tech comes over and apologizes, still I had no idea why she was being so mean and rude. Even my kid asked what happened to her? I honestly wanted to walkout but I sat and let another tech do the job since I was in need of it. While this is going on, she goes and happily greets another customer and starts doing her instead. No apologies nothing, she acted as if went off on her which I did not, at all! I didn't even raise my voice, that's not mu personality. I honestly have never been treated like this and I'll look for another salon after yesterday. I don't care how good of a nail tech you are, if you are mean and nasty you will loose people. No one deserves to be mistreated or embarrassed like this especially being a paying customer who comes every two weeks. read more

There were good when Kelly was there. I've given them several chances since she left. It gets worse and worse. Today was by far the worst time ever. Got a pedicure - slow but it came out fine at lease. My dip manicure on the other hand look like my 9 yr old son did it. She didn't even push back (let alone cut) my cuticles. Just dipped right over them. I had dip polish all over my fingers. Just awful. I doubt that "tech" (using that term lightly) is even licensed. I'm putting a call in to the DBPR for sure. New Nails, there are nail salons on every corner. You should be treating returning customers much better. Shame on you. This place used to be my favorite place but after the way the tech just treated me I will never go back. I went in on Friday for gel mani and pedi. The tech spent the whole time tell me really personal stuff but what ever. It happens sometimes. Nails looked ok. Not great but ok. By Friday night the gel on one nail pealed off. I went back today and the tech who did the nails Friday was there. She tells me my nails are to short. She was the one who made them that short. She than offers to fix my nails but was so aggressive. Pulling at my hand and flicking me when it was time to put under the lights. $100 buck between my nails and my kid will now be spent somewhere else. read more

WOW! This was my second time there. The first time was AWESOME! Just so you know, I get pedicures every 2 weeks and my feet aren't nasty black hooves or anything like that. I mean, she didn't even need the belt sander or anything. Added to that, I did shower this morning...anyhoo. This time I had Jessica. She was so distracted and so disconnected and I got the feeling that I was putting her out. She couldn't even look at me. She was kinda half ass scrubbing and staring out the window. She was rough when doing my cuticles and wrenched my knee (which is injured) because my foot wasn't in the correct position to accommodate her. All she had to do was ask and I would have been happy to adjust my position. Then, when she was massaging (i use that term very loosely), she was staring out the window and it felt like it made her sick to touch me. I ended up stopping her shortly after she started the massage portion of my torture session and asked her to just skip it and polish the toes so I could go. Then, she actually thought that I would let her do my manicure. No way sister. I need to go home and wash of the hate and disgust you were touching me with. Look, I can understand and appreciate the fact that her job is not so glamorous or exciting. I have worked many many long hard days in not so exciting customer service positions myself. However, when people come in for service, they want to be treated with dignity and respect and made to feel as if you actually care (even if you don't) about them. If your job sucks that much, go find something else to do. Life is too short to be that hostile and unhappy. read more
