Kudzai and his team were incredible while we moved warehouses! From the walk-through for our quote to communicating through our moving process, I found Kudzai was easy to communicate and work with. The moving team arrived promptly both days we worked with them and treated our inventory with great care. We have a lot of glassware in our warehouse and were a bit concerned about damage to our equipment but the team put us at ease making sure the truck was packed well. We had nightmare with this company. I would not recommend to anyone. We hired this company for long distance move ( VA to CO ) and it was PCS move for military, it was sudden order and had to coordinate move ourselves. Kudzai seemed professional when he came for an estimate and contract. He promised our stuff won't be mixed with someone else's household goods, also recommended to let professional handle the fragile items packing. Our original plan was to separate into 2 days, 1 day for packing and another day for loading which we agreed, but he texted me couple of days before that he would like to pack and load on a same day as he will bring more guys, I agreed. On moving day, they showed up 40 mins later than original time, there were only 3 guys. Since it's military move, we needed to have 3 weight tickets, 1 for empty truck, 1 for loaded truck in VA and another 1 in CO to proof military, this is just their rule and without these, we won't get reimbursed for the moving cost from the military. we made sure Kudzai about this so many times ( at estimate, at contract, via texts before they arrive that day) But they came in with small truck and told us they will just use this for now as they are using a big truck for someone else's move at time. I was worried at this point because this was not the plan. packing/loading started around 10am, it didn't last till past 1am!!! We have elementary school age children and we had to return the key to the apartment that night and drive to hotel we booked to start road trip the next morning. if it takes that long, I would never have agreed on pack and load same day. Our stuff didn't fit in the small truck they brought, so they had to bring another truck. I already started to regret to hire them at this point but there is nothing we can do, we started to road trip to Colorado starting next day( Monday). Our original contract was to have delivered on Friday morning. I did not hear from Kudzai or the driver, even he told me that driver will give us daily update where our stuff is, so I texted him Wednesday evening see how everything is, he didn't tell us where our truck is now but just saying everything is according to the plan. Thursday evening, when I texted him, he said truck broke down and he will let me know when he know more detail. Friday when I asked the situation, he told me that truck is still in IL so probably difficult to deliver on Saturday, Sunday is the definitely the plan. Sunday morning, I get a call from driver that they are still in KS about 400 miles away so he cannot make it today. We agreed for delivery first thing in the morning at 6 when gate opens.( we live in housing on military base.) At 6:30 am, the driver tells me that he is looking for gas station that has diesel and it's no where.( it's a lie as I see gas stations with diesel everywhere) about an hour later, he gives us call that he is at the gate and needs some help. When my husband went to the gate, he found out that truck lost all gas and unable to drive, so my husband had to go get gas for them. Well, after my husband got gas for them, they finally started unloading around 9:30 am. When I asked Kudzai how long does it take to unload and put furniture together, he said no more than 3 hours. Well, the 2 workers were here till past 3:30 pm. ( it took 6 hours and no box unpacking.) and some of the bed or desk weren't put together so we had to redo ourselves. We found our new China cabinet damaged, other small item broken ( picture posted), couldn't find some item even though we unpack everything, we also found items that are not ours. A lot of the boxes were damaged, and didn't have enough packing papers. They also used lots of used boxes so it was labeled completely different room, that we had to re-carry to correct room. No discount at all for being late for scheduled delivery, ( supposed to be Friday, not delivered until Monday.) Kudzai promised to pay for the furniture repair and insurance would cover the cost for damaged /lost item), so we will see about that. They also did not bring the weight tickets after so many times I asked as it's most important piece with military move. I confronted them and Kudzai sent me email with weight tickets 3 days after. We are military family and moved about 5 times, but this was absolutely the WORST move ever. Despite the fact of being delayed, I have found other movers way more use their time to pack things nicely so it won't break. I hope this review helps for someone who is considering to use them for their long distance move. read more

The new apartment was a two story walk up and they did everything within a few hours. They were very careful with all my belongings and not a single thing was broken or chipped. New Age Move Management is the best. This was my first local move ever and really didn't know what to expect. I Googled local movers in my area and there were quite a few. Some were way too expensive and I know you get what you pay for so I didn't go with the cheapest either. I wanted professionalism, and experienced movers not a fly by Night Company. I spoke to Kudzai, a few times before making my final decision, asking all kinds of questions and he was polite and patient each time. He was very accommodating and understanding to my worries & needs. Price was right and I am a Thrifty Shopper. Lol I read allot of different moving companies reviews and decided to go with New Age Move Management. They came early, called in advance to see if it were ok. They get paid by the hour but they worked continuously and effectively no breaks and not taking their time. I realized I had stuff out in the shed that I wanted and Kudzai said no problem show me what you want. I had a few extras. Lol They had to move stuff to get to what I wanted and they did it without attitudes or rushing. Nothing was broken or missing. When I got to the other house they put everything where I wanted it and put stuff together for me. We had some furniture we wanted to get rid of and for a little more money they took it all. Kudzai, Caesar and I think Moses were the best. They came prepared and got the job done. There uniform shirts were neat and clean, they were polite, friendly and professional. I needed to move my 92-year-old Mother from Florida to Maryland. Kudzai and the movers were amazing. They arrived on time, packed up her apartment on a Monday and moved her in on Wednesday. New Age completed my move last week. I have never used movers so I didn't know what to expect, I will never NOT use movers again. The guys showed up early, quickly got to work and completed my moved in a fast professional manner. The guys were so polite and asked me where I wanted all the boxes to be placed and if I was comfortable with the wraps on the furniture. I would highly recommend this company. Overall, we had a good experience with Kudzai and his team - they offered a very reasonable price, they were friendly, and they handled our things with care without any damages to either house. However, our expectations were not managed as well as we would like, so there were several times throughout the process when we were left feeling very frustrated. For example, they were scheduled to arrive on a specific day but called the night before to ask if they could come a couple days later due to weather delays out west. While I understand the weather is out of their control, calling the night before is too late. Then they called back to say they could still make it the next day, but rather than arriving at 9 am, they would arrive around 11:30 am - not ideal since we had an 11-hour drive to start that day, but still feasible. The team didn't arrive until nearly 2 pm. Upon arrival they said it shouldn't take more than about 3 hours to load everything - we didn't leave until nearly 7 pm! They were originally supposed to arrive at our new home within 24 hours, but they didn't account for rest so we lost a full day, which wasn't a big deal as we had some flexibility built into the move. The night before their arrival, they called to tell us the team would meet us at the new home at 8:30 am with an extra guy to make up for lost time - at 8:50 am we received a call to say they were still 2 hours away; when they finally arrived at 11 am, they did so without an extra guy - in fact, they had one less than they used to pack everything up. Kudzai did give us a break in price for the inconveniences and a couple of damaged pieces. Again, overall we had a good experience, but it could have been excellent with better communication and expectation management. I would definitely recommend them with the caveat that you should build in a fair amount of cushion for possible delays and take their estimates with a grain of salt. read more

New Age Move Management was amazing for our move! We moved from NYC to Maryland, with several large pieces of furniture and a whole lot of boxes. Kudzai and T were the utmost professionals, and very thorough. They took great care with our belongings and not a single thing was broken or damaged in the move across states. They worked very quickly and efficiently, and even stopped at a storage facility to get more furniture we had. Once the team had unpacked our boxes and furniture, they offered to help us put together the sofa and bed, and they even took several empty boxes with them, so we didn't have to worry about extra trash. I love their flat fee - whatever they quote you is exactly what you pay. We of course added a tip because they deserved it. The move could not have gone more smoothly, and that's all thanks to New Age! I highly recommend them and my husband and I will certainly use them for all future moves. read more
