We moved into our condo in 2021 and had replaced the old and rotting planks with composite soon…read moreafter we moved in; however, we were most interested in revitalizing the roof deck altogether - the railing and posts were rotted and had peeling paint, and we had minimal privacy when hosting friends and family. After speaking with several contractors, we were fortunate enough to find Leo, who gave the roof deck a complete facelift! We initially hired Leo to update the siding of our top deck and replace the door leading to the bottom deck. During our first consultation meeting with him, he had brainstormed many design concepts and ideas we had not even thought of that we ultimately went with - we highly appreciated the creativity and effort to make our image a reality. He was incredibly communicative, and we really felt like we were working as a team. We ended up having him replace the railing of our upper deck and added a privacy wall with a beautiful design. He handcrafted the railing and involved us in every step of the design process. He also replaced rotting wood that was exposed beneath the siding, fixed a broken outlet, and completely replaced a rotting window frame. He also put in place LED light strips beneath the railing to create a sense of ambience we didn't even realize we were looking for! Leo was always very transparent with the timing of each phase of this project as well as any associated costs. Leo went above and beyond and returned twice after our final payment to add some minor touch ups to ensure the deck was as picture-perfect as can be! We have many upcoming projects in our new home and hope to work with Leo on all of them. We have already begun brainstorming together what we can do with our bottom deck. We would recommend Leo a thousand times over and are looking forward to collaborating with him again!

Hired Igor this fall to repair some weathered clapboard siding and rotting wood on our home. It was…read morea pretty challenging repair as the damaged siding was high up (2-story colonial) near the peak of the house, over our garage. His communication was great--letting us know each day when he would arrive/leave, he worked long hours, was very talented in what he did, and IMHO did exceptional work. We were very happy. In our particular case, the final cost was a bit higher than the original estimate, however, it was completely understandable and I had no qualms what-so-ever (and I typically am not so easy in that department) He spent several days meticulously stripping/prepping the siding--doing the job right. He was highly reliable, seemed like a good guy, and I would highly recommend him.

I am writing this review as a warning. We hired Al D'Agata…read morethrough a personal reference to remodel our condo. The work was shoddily done and ultimately cost us an additional $17 thousand plus to repair what was done. After several complaints regarding water in the units below us, it was discovered that a water pipe in the wall behind our refrigerator had been punctured with a nail from a nail gun. We are working with our insurance company and unsure if we will be liable for the damage. (Mr. D'Agata will not return our calls or the adjuster's calls) Our flooring was so badly buckled that it would sink when stepped on. Mr. D'Agata explained that there was the required 1/4 inch allowance and that the floor would eventually settle. We pointed out that the instructions for the flooring called for 1/2 inch allowance. He did tell us that he would make things right. After that, we never heard back from Mr. D'Agata; he would not answer our calls or texts. When we hired someone to correct the flooring, we learned that there had been no allowance for the floating floor to move. No wonder it was buckling! Mr. D'Agata's business card notes that he is licensed and insured, however we are unable to confirm this with someone we spoke to at the Attorney General's Consumer Affair's Office.
