By chance, the electric company stopped by the next day to check my meter, and started banging on my door to ask what in the world was up with my electric meter/box. They said the metal was so bent that even if I had the cover, it wouldn't fit back on. It turns out that anyone walking by who touched it could've gotten an electric shock! The electric company wanted to shut off the power to my entire house immediately - it was that serious - but since it was in the winter they didn't. The electric company was kind enough to wrap a tarp around the box, since any rain or snow getting in could cause extensive damage, including frying my whole electrical panel. It turned out that MightyDog had done extensive electrical work without an electrical permit, and by people who were not licensed to do that work. They had to pay thousands of dollars to an emergency Electrician; I appreciate that they paid it, but that's how bad it was. They also did extensive damage to my mini splits, which they refuse to take responsibility for. I think they did a good job on my roof, but I can't in good conscience recommend this business.

We had several other contractors who told us wehad to replace the entire side of the house, even though it appeared the damagewas in one specific area. Rorrie said they could fix it without having to rip everythingout. We had a few calls before the work was done where he explained everything in greatdetail (and with great patience). The work itself is complete, and the siding looks great. Theypulled back the areas that needed work, replaced the plywood that was rotted,and even helped buttress some of the framing. They then covered everything backup and repainted. At the end, they also walked around the house to point outany potential things to watch out for or that need attention. We had quotes from other roofers that were less expensive, however, the materials were subpar. One roofer was going to use shingles that had been recalled in Canada! The name of the gentleman that was at our house initially is Steven and he runs a phenomenal crew! They hustled and worked like a team. My neighbors were marveling over how fast they worked and the organization they used to shingle the stripped roof. We have two layers they had to tear off and I swear the shingles were off in an hour! Danny, the owner, was there for the last portion of the job. This guy knows his stuff. I had some questions about a ridge vent, and he could have taken advantage of me and charged a heck of a lot more. But he instead we talked about the ventilation and determined it was not in my best interest to cut into the perfect cedar under the shingles to install a ridge vent. He is very respectful and I believe he does honest work and did not go higher than the quoted price.
