I must have spoken to 20+ roofers about putting a roof on my geodesic dome house and they either wanted way more than I had or just plain refused the job. Juan gave me the most reasonable estimate and after seeing all the glowing reviews, I chose him and I am so happy I did! It came out so beautiful!!! They got all the angles correct and I have no doubt this roof will last me 40+ years. They use quality materials and their attention to detail is awesome. They cleaned up everything afterward and if I need any work done in the future, I know who I am calling. When you choose JM Exteriors you are doing yourself a favor! I can't say thank you enough. :-)

But the quote came quickly and was quite detailed. It included a good brand of the white EPDM I wanted. It was just as good or better than the quotes from some other bigger players. The price was much better too. So I hoped the no frills meant less overhead. I did check for reviews and they were good. So I decided to go with JM even though it was very hard to find much company presence on the internet. Communicating with Juan via text messages worked very well. I asked to add a plywood cover board and to help me locate the rafters and he was very accommodating. The team came out and Robin was in charge. He spoke English well enough to give me assurances they were going to do what I wanted. The biggest reason for replacing the membrane roof on my flat roof was to ready it for a solar panel installation, which I planned to do myself, if only I could get the 8 panels up on the roof. I'd asked Juan if the team could put the panels on the roof after the job was done. He was agreeable. Robin had the boys do it and did a good job of ensuring no damage to the new membrane by having them put an insulation board under them. Since then I've been up on that roof installing my panels and admiring JM Exteriors Roofing and Siding's work. Thank you so much.

He replaced at least 8 extra sheets of plywood as per quote if needed. He came the next day to collect payment which was done. He also mentioned a broken garage window which his crew broke by accident that he would fix. he removed gutters as requested but didnt fill holes in wood where gutters were secured so water would not enter home. upon presenting his bill he added an amount of $1680. for a second layer of shingles he claimed were on roof. roof was replaced 20 years ago and at that time I requested from roofer to remove shingles and not install over them which was done. I have exsisting pictures showing only 1 layer of shingles was installed at that time and old shingles removed. we went on vacation and when we returned no repairs were done either to window or filling gutter nail holes. he was paid promptly before leaving on vacation. leaving me to assume that you cannot rely on his word.. After a Servpro demolition team throughout all the damaged furniture, carpets, wall boards and wall insulation and treated for mold, I started looking to hire a construction company to rebuild: insulation, wall boards, damaged sub flooring, plastering, painting, flooring, and the damaged baseboard heating. Using Yelp and Angie I requested a work proposal and cost estimate from 6 contractors, half of which never got back to me. LB Special Projects owner took time with me to explain the work to be done and answer all my questions. It was clear that he knew his business down to as much details as I wanted to know. His company went beyond the work I requested because they have a high standard of quality. They know you'll be living with the work they do. It's apparent from other reviews that this is a 5 star company. I would add that everyone that worked on restoring my house: carpenters, plumbers, electricians did their work to the same high standard, and were open and helpful to answering my questions I will continue to recommend this company and call upon them for any projects I want done in the future

The biggest centerpiece of the job being a full kitchen/dining room renovation, but also including fixing up a porch, half-bathroom, and installing a new custom-sized basement exterior door. Jim and his crew were great to work with. He was a very thoughtful planner, always thinking of little things to make our designs better (ex: "What if we extended the wainscoting around the corner to carry the flow?" and "We should use a larger handle on this cabinet so that it doesn't put stress on the wood.") He definitely has an eye for detail. He ran a tight ship, making sure that his crew cleaned up at the end of the day and organized all of their tools, as we were living in the house during the project and the last thing we wanted was a messy and hazardous area. Would definitely recommend to others.
