When I was ready for my roof, I was given a good price on a proposal, and discussed the project in detail. I also needed skylights replaced. He also uses good quality products and doesn't cut corners to save a buck. Anyhow, I felt I got delivered a quality job and am very satisfied. Rorrie responded immediately to my call after high winds caused extensive roof damage to my home. The insurance company recommended that I hire a contractor to make emergency repairs to prevent further damage until roof could be replaced after winter season. Knowing the imminent threat of more severe weather, CCE came out only days later to complete the temporary repairs. This gave me peace and reassurance given the situation. Such outstanding professionalism , compassion, and care was demonstrated... these emergency repairs were made on Christmas Eve! Thank you, Rorrie and team for not only coming to the rescue and being a top-notch roofer but for being a truly amazing person and someone you can trust. Best to you

We had several other contractors who told us wehad to replace the entire side of the house, even though it appeared the damagewas in one specific area. Rorrie said they could fix it without having to rip everythingout. We had a few calls before the work was done where he explained everything in greatdetail (and with great patience). The work itself is complete, and the siding looks great. Theypulled back the areas that needed work, replaced the plywood that was rotted, and even helped buttress some of the framing. They then covered everything backup and repainted. At the end, they also walked around the house to point outany potential things to watch out for or that need attention. I definitely plan to use them again to fix any future siding issues that come up! Great work at a very good price! Highly recommend!

Our roof leaks in multiple places, we assume it's old and needs replacement so we call Joe and he comes to take a look. Turns out the roof is not old, Joe tells us it's probably less than 8 years but it was completed so poorly that we have to replace entire sections and, in fact, we will end up replacing the entire roof by the time that we are done. Given that we had not budgeted for a new roof I was freaking out a little bit. But Joe was honest about what we need to fix now and what we could hold off on until we had the money to complete the job. He was honest, prompt, and came back to complete the job on a Saturday. We are now leak free! Without hesitation I would recommend Arone Exteriors, in fact we will be using them again in the Spring to complete the replacement of our poorly done roof.

We were very concerned that so many contractors would not be experienced enough to deal with the challenges that a house, built in 1753 would naturally have. Dave and Mike came into an absolute mess with our post and beam construction since the damage to the fieldstone foundation impacted the entire house. They did a fabulous job, better than any of our expectations. Whenever they encountered a problem we thought would be insurmountable, they calmly figured it out; even as our house was then effected by the Columbia gas explosion, right in the middle of construction. Dave gave us good advice, made solid suggestions on how to maximize our insurance money and was calm even when we were not. The communication was quick and clear even with the other contractors. This was an unbearable situation made bearable only because of Dave and Mike's professionalism, honesty and patience. Highest recommendation for HRH Construction

SD Construction was hired to remodel a 3 season room, turning into a fully heated, insulated,…read moreusable space. The job entailed adding walls, siding, insulation, drywall, electrical, split unit installation, installing windows, and finish wood work. From the beginning, I was very happy with Scott and his team. I received the requested, itemized estimate within the time frame he gave me. We communicated mostly through email and the questions i had about the estimate and throughout the process were answered right away. During construction, when an existing wall was removed and wood rot was found, Scott talked us through the problem and laid out our options being very clear that the additional work, should we choose that route, would require additional cost. He was upfront about the additional costs (that are often unavoidable) and I felt that he always had the best interest of the project in mind. He wasn't looking for ways to increase cost but was honest when it was unavoidable. The project was completed in a timely manner and though construction brings its own sort of mess, the guys kept my yard and the area as neat and clean as possIble. The project was also completely in a reasonable time frame. If and when a delay occurred (weather, materials, etc) I was notified of it. In the end, I have an awesome new room, that demonstrates pride in workmanship and attention to detail. I would highly recommend SD Construction!
