Joe Arone and his crew were excellent to work with. He submitted an electronic Quote that was a fair price. He kept us in the loop regarding the permitting process and scheduled the roof replacement at our convenience. His crew was certainly experienced as they worked during the demolition, reroofing, and clean-up. An added bonus is that Joe has his own trailer/dump so no additional charge is necessary for a dumpster. Arone Exteriors is highly recommended. read more

My first experience with Arone Exteriors occurred back in 2010 when I had a re-roofing project. Joe was one of 3 contractors that I met and his pricing and timeline were well within my budget and timeline. Joe completed the project ahead of schedule and below budget! Fast forward to 2025 when I noticed an issue (rake trim was dangling). I contacted Joe and although I hadn't required any of his services since 2010 he remembered who I was and within a few days had one of his crew come out and repair the dangling piece of rake trim. While I wasn't surprised with his timeline I was surprised when I asked for a bill and he replied "NO CHARGE". Truly appreciated his services and would recommend him for anyone's housing project!! read more

We were referred to Joe at Arone Exteriors through our old neighbors (who we wish were also our new neighbors because they rock). Our roof leaks in multiple places, we assume it's old and needs replacement so we call Joe and he comes to take a look. Turns out the roof is not old, Joe tells us it's probably less than 8 years but it was completed so poorly that we have to replace entire sections and, in fact, we will end up replacing the entire roof by the time that we are done. Given that we had not budgeted for a new roof I was freaking out a little bit. But Joe was honest about what we need to fix now and what we could hold off on until we had the money to complete the job. He was honest, prompt, and came back to complete the job on a Saturday. We are now leak free! Without hesitation I would recommend Arone Exteriors, in fact we will be using them again in the Spring to complete the replacement of our poorly done roof. read more

Enjoyed working with them. Very nice and professional. Did great work. Will definitely call them for future jobs. Thanks again Joe and team at Arone exteriors. read more

He did such a great job on our beach house roof and cleaned up so well, I had two neighbors ask for his contact. He later did a deck at our house and it looks awesome! Fair pricing, eager to answer questions and do things right, honest and professional. Joe and his staff are the best! read more

Joe really went out of his way to provide great service. We were closing on our house and needed a quote for a new roof in order to secure homeowners insurance. Joe came out, saw the house and roof, and provided a quote within 48 hours of our initial request. He even came back on Christmas Eve to sit down with us, show samples of shingles and discuss the process and what to expect out of him and his crew. That sealed the deal! The crew worked through the coldest days of the year and did a great job on the roof and shingles. Joe honored the yelp discount and gave us a very competitive rate. I recommend him for your roofing needs. read more

Joe and his team were great! Neat, responsive and we would call again and refer to friends and family.

My wife and I were referred to Joe by a good friend of ours, we had a small leak in our roof. I called Joe and he came out promptly and checked our entire roof. Joe fixed the leak and caulked the chimney at no charge to boot. Joe said that the roof was in bad shape and took pictures for us to see, and he was correct. He measured the job and sent me an estimate which was indeed fair. He waited for us to secure the money and came when he said he would come, Joe and his crew finished the job in one day. They were all professional and cleaned up promptly when finished. I would highly recommend Arone Exteriors to any of my family or friends. read more

I've been meaning to write an update for a while now. Last winter after one of the big snow storms in the area, I had some siding torn off the house. I emailed Joe and asked if he could come out and take a look. He got right back to me and came out quickly. He came by and fixed it up within a week of my initial email. I know it was a small job, but he was fast. He's getting more of my business if he'll have me. read more

As good as it gets best describes Joe, his workers and the service provided. We had a leaky roof around the chimney area that was problematic but Joe and his crew never gave up. Joe always answered my inquires in a prompt manner and continued to work the problem until it was fixed. If you want a quality job at a reasonable price Joe and company are what you want. read more

Joe is SUPER professional and REALLY, REALLY nice. Answers questions, returns calls/emails, and generally gets it done. His team just replaced some trim, water table, and door frames on my house and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend!!! read more

Joe redid my entire roof on my mid-sized cape. The roof came out superb. Joe and his team went above and beyond all at a competitive price. He used special tarps to protect my house and lawn from debris, hauled off all the old materials and left my property spotless. He also dealt with a challenging dormer that was added to the back of the roof. The original job was done incorrectly by another a few years prior resulting in a hard to find leak. Joe was able to isolate the problem and correct it. What a joy knowing that I have no more leaks and that Joe guarantees his work for 15 years. I could not recommend Joe and his team enough! read more

.I had my roof done last year. While replacing the roof, the flower bed was damaged. Joe initially did not accept responsibility; but after facing the fact he did. The work was OK but the price changed. I found him not very honest but pretended to be one to get you to sign the contract. He is very defensive, blames his crew and does not accept comments from the customer. read more

This winter was the worst as far as snow buildup on the roof, and the ice dams were huge. We couldn't clear enough ourselves with the roof rake, so I looked for someone who could. Arone Exteriors came up with good reviews, and the BBB gave them a good listing, so I gave them a shot. Joe's crew came by around 9:15 in the morning and were finished by 11:15. The price was reasonable for the size of our roof (we have a ranch), and the guys cleaned up afterwards. Thanks! read more

Prompt , honest , very reasonable price , does a good job . Great company to work with .

I cannot recommend Arone Exteriors enough. I got prices on my new roof from 10 different roofers and Joe's was the best. He was courteous and responsive (something that is hard to come by with contractors these days). He and his crew showed up on time and were very professional. He even did extra tasks that other roofers would surely have charged extra for (shingles over bay window and installed new vent hood for bathroom vent). The roof looks fantastic and after the work was complete, his crew spent close to 2 hours cleaning up every shingle and nail, my yard was spotless. In my years as a homeowner, I have not encountered a better contractor. read more
