My first experience with Arone Exteriors occurred back in 2010 when I had a re-roofing project. Joe was one of 3 contractors that I met and his pricing and timeline were well within my budget and timeline. Joe completed the project ahead of schedule and below budget! Fast forward to 2025 when I noticed an issue (rake trim was dangling). I contacted Joe and although I hadn't required any of his services since 2010 he remembered who I was and within a few days had one of his crew come out and repair the dangling piece of rake trim. While I wasn't surprised with his timeline I was surprised when I asked for a bill and he replied "NO CHARGE". We were referred to Joe at Arone Exteriors through our old neighbors (who we wish were also our new neighbors because they rock). Our roof leaks in multiple places, we assume it's old and needs replacement so we call Joe and he comes to take a look. Turns out the roof is not old, Joe tells us it's probably less than 8 years but it was completed so poorly that we have to replace entire sections and, in fact, we will end up replacing the entire roof by the time that we are done. Given that we had not budgeted for a new roof I was freaking out a little bit. But Joe was honest about what we need to fix now and what we could hold off on until we had the money to complete the job. He was honest, prompt, and came back to complete the job on a Saturday. Joe redid my entire roof on my mid-sized cape. The roof came out superb. Joe and his team went above and beyond all at a competitive price. He used special tarps to protect my house and lawn from debris, hauled off all the old materials and left my property spotless. He also dealt with a challenging dormer that was added to the back of the roof. The original job was done incorrectly by another a few years prior resulting in a hard to find leak. Joe was able to isolate the problem and correct it. What a joy knowing that I have no more leaks and that Joe guarantees his work for 15 years. .I had my roof done last year. While replacing the roof, the flower bed was damaged. Joe initially did not accept responsibility; but after facing the fact he did. The work was OK but the price changed. I found him not very honest but pretended to be one to get you to sign the contract. He is very defensive, blames his crew and does not accept comments from the customer. read more

This winter was the worst as far as snow buildup on the roof, and the ice dams were huge. We couldn't clear enough ourselves with the roof rake, so I looked for someone who could. Arone Exteriors came up with good reviews, and the BBB gave them a good listing, so I gave them a shot. Joe's crew came by around 9:15 in the morning and were finished by 11:15. I cannot recommend Arone Exteriors enough. I got prices on my new roof from 10 different roofers and Joe's was the best. He was courteous and responsive (something that is hard to come by with contractors these days). He and his crew showed up on time and were very professional. He even did extra tasks that other roofers would surely have charged extra for (shingles over bay window and installed new vent hood for bathroom vent). The roof looks fantastic and after the work was complete, his crew spent close to 2 hours cleaning up every shingle and nail, my yard was spotless.
