They were here every day, worked with purpose and scheduled the subcontractors with precision - and this resulted in the job being completed many weeks before the estimate. How often do you hear of that? The foreman, Pat, has a keen eye for design and is a finished carpenter by trade - so the results are absolutely stunning. They added a few built-ins that really made the space pop. It has been a few months since the finished and we just love our new space, it really expanded our home. We were very concerned that so many contractors would not be experienced enough to deal with the challenges that a house, built in 1753 would naturally have. Dave and Mike came into an absolute mess with our post and beam construction since the damage to the fieldstone foundation impacted the entire house. They did a fabulous job, better than any of our expectations. Whenever they encountered a problem we thought would be insurmountable, they calmly figured it out; even as our house was then effected by the Columbia gas explosion, right in the middle of construction. Dave gave us good advice, made solid suggestions on how to maximize our insurance money and was calm even when we were not. The communication was quick and clear even with the other contractors. I filed a claim with the shingles manufacturer, however they wanted some information from the contractor. I have tried to contact all under one roof, but they never return my calls. I understand they are not responsible for the warranty on the shingles, but at least have the dignity to return a phone call to to help your customers.
