They gut renovated both of our bathrooms, which was no easy task considering the overall age of our house, size of our bathroom, and required customization. They are incredibly hard working and always checked with us about our needs during the construction period. We feel very fortunate that we hired them. The quality of work in our bathrooms is top notch. Their ability to proceed with care, efficiency, problem-solve, communicate, and their attention to detail is outstanding. We feel like we had so many tall requests for this project and they delivered on all of them.

Stan came over, saw my situation and right away knew exactly what I want. He saw that it was very narrow and said he can make it a little wider. While he was there, I mentioned that I want to have my foundation wall finished with stucco. He told me he has a guy who can do that too. Well, I got a couple of other quotes from others and I knew after that Stan was the right guy for the job. His numbers are very reasonable and I can tell he knew what he was doing. Stan has a great crew who showed up early and worked professionally. Good guys! The stairs, landing and the masonry work came out perfect!

Centuries old home with all the quirks that come with it and they handled the circumstances well. New floor, new stairs, new ceiling (that had to be changed so that people over 6 feet tall could actually use the stairs without ducking!) and new light fixtures, all helped to really transform the first experience people have entering our home. Stan was highly communicative throughout the whole process, with daily updates and always conferring on what work would need to be done and when. A great experience and would definitely recommend!

He listens to all the requests and has great solutions for every problem. When I started the project all I wanted was a clean nice bathroom, but as we proceeded many structural needs were addressed - my dryer didn't work properly for longest time and it was fixed; when the floor tiles were changed, more insulation was put in place to prevent odors and noise coming from apartment below; the exhaust fan was replaced to the one that nearly makes any noise, etc. I'm very happy with Steven's work and will definitely come back!

Great communication throughout the process, and the workers were so polite and respectful. They cleaned everything up at the end of each day and were lovely to have around. Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

That isn't something that always presents itself in the industry. The crew was also very professional and insightful. They were here every day, worked with purpose and scheduled the subcontractors with precision - and this resulted in the job being completed many weeks before the estimate. How often do you hear of that? The foreman, Pat, has a keen eye for design and is a finished carpenter by trade - so the results are absolutely stunning. They added a few built-ins that really made the space pop. It has been a few months since the finished and we just love our new space, it really expanded our home. In addition to all of these points, I would also like to say that DRM's quote was substantially lower than some we received. When selecting a contractor, I know how important these reviews can be. Please let me assure you that if you choose DRM, you will not be disappointed. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
