I highly recommend Affordable Vinyl Windows & Siding for replacement windows…read more I normally get three quotes for home improvement projects, but due to the extreme differences I was seeing in customer service, capability, recommendations, and pricing, I ended up obtaining seven quotes for this project. After speaking with all of them, Affordable Vinyl Windows & Siding was the clear choice. My primary requirements were energy-efficient windows with Low-E glass, Argon fill, and a U-factor of .27 or lower. Several companies quoted products that met those specifications, so what really differentiated the contractors was their approach, honesty, experience, and pricing. Of all the quotes I received, Affordable Vinyl Windows & Siding was by far the lowest priced. That's not an exaggeration. Initially, I was skeptical because the difference was so significant. However, after reading over 100 reviews, researching the specifications myself, and meeting with Paul, I understood why so many customers have had positive experiences. What impressed me most was that Paul consistently looked for practical solutions instead of opportunities to increase the scope of work. Some contractors insisted I needed new construction windows throughout the house. Others pointed to concerns such as deteriorated sills and exterior trim as justification for a much larger project. When I discussed those concerns with Paul, his response was straightforward: if a sill is damaged, replace the sill. During the installation, they were honest about what actually needed repair and what did not. In several locations where they could have charged me for additional work, they told me the wood simply needed paint and was not rotten. He was also one of only two contractors who identified that my bathroom window required tempered glass to meet code requirements. The installation crew was excellent. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional, worked efficiently, and installed 16 windows in approximately five hours. The finished product looks great, and the entire process was smooth from consultation through installation. After spending months researching products, comparing contractors, and collecting seven quotes, I can confidently say that Affordable Vinyl Windows & Siding delivered the best overall value. They provided the specifications I wanted, gave honest recommendations, completed quality work, and did so at a price that was dramatically lower than competing proposals. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends, family, or anyone looking for replacement windows.
