I highly recommend Affordable Vinyl Windows & Siding for replacement windows. I normally get three quotes for home improvement projects, but due to the extreme differences I was seeing in customer service, capability, recommendations, and pricing, I ended up obtaining seven quotes for this project. After speaking with all of them, Affordable Vinyl Windows & Siding was the clear choice. My primary requirements were energy-efficient windows with Low-E glass, Argon fill, and a U-factor of .27 or lower. Several companies quoted products that met those specifications, so what really differentiated the contractors was their approach, honesty, experience, and pricing. Of all the quotes I received, Affordable Vinyl Windows & Siding was by far the lowest priced. That's not an exaggeration. Initially, I was skeptical because the difference was so significant. However, after reading over 100 reviews, researching the specifications myself, and meeting with Paul, I understood why so many customers have had positive experiences. What impressed me most was that Paul consistently looked for practical solutions instead of opportunities to increase the scope of work. Some contractors insisted I needed new construction windows throughout the house. Others pointed to concerns such as deteriorated sills and exterior trim as justification for a much larger project. When I discussed those concerns with Paul, his response was straightforward: if a sill is damaged, replace the sill. During the installation, they were honest about what actually needed repair and what did not. In several locations where they could have charged me for additional work, they told me the wood simply needed paint and was not rotten. He was also one of only two contractors who identified that my bathroom window required tempered glass to meet code requirements. The installation crew was excellent. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional, worked efficiently, and installed 16 windows in approximately five hours. The finished product looks great, and the entire process was smooth from consultation through installation. After spending months researching products, comparing contractors, and collecting seven quotes, I can confidently say that Affordable Vinyl Windows & Siding delivered the best overall value. They provided the specifications I wanted, gave honest recommendations, completed quality work, and did so at a price that was dramatically lower than competing proposals. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends, family, or anyone looking for replacement windows. read more

We had gotten a number of quotes before we had Paul come over and look at our job. He wrote the quote up on the spot and it was by far the most reasonable we'd had. His crew came in a few weeks later, right on schedule. They were super efficient, clean and careful with everything they did. Very happy with our new windows and would highly recommend! Thank you! read more

Today I had a replacement slider installed on my deck. My experience with Affordable Vinyl windows and Siding was excellent. I felt that from the very beginning of the process they have been professional and service was timely. They returned phone calls quickly and someone was sent to my home within a week to give me an estimate. I ordered the slider and it came in within the time quoted to me. When it arrived, it was installed within about a week. The men who did the work today were great. They finished the work within a just a few hours and they cleaned everything up beautifully. I would not hesitate to use them to do any other replacement windows at my home if need be. Now the best part of the work that was done...... this company was much, much more affordable for us. In fact they were $8000 less than what I was quoted by another window/slider replacement company. I will also say that 2 different friends recommended them to me and I am so glad I followed thru with the recommendation. read more

This business did great work! They were fast and efficient and their price was very reasonable compared to other quotes that we got. We had several windows installed and they were only here for a few hours. Absolutely would recommend! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this company and their employees. I had received their name from a friend and word of mouth referrals are usually the way to go. From the home visit for the estimate, to the actual work being done, every aspect of working with this company was exceptional. Great price, professional, courteous and extremely conscientious workers, all made for a very pleasant experience all the way around. Brent and Steve even went above and beyond after my window placements by measuring, cutting and placing wood strips along the inside window edges to give it a finished look, which they did not have to do. Such a delight working with such great people. Will definitely recommend to anyone - I'm glad someone recommended them to me! read more

I needed windows replaced in my home and was referred to Affordable windows by a co-worker. I was very impressed by there professionalism, and how accommodating they were to have someone come out to give me a quote the very next day. After receiving the quote, I signed right then and there because they were the best one I had received. I could tell that one of the owners that came out to provide me the quote was someone that would deliver a quality product. Yesterday a crew of 3 came to my house and installed 11 windows in the pouring rain with in 4 hours. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new windows. They also do a wide area of coverage in NH, MA and also go into RI. read more

I had purchased windows and only needed an install. They were willing to do the work anyway and I couldn't be happier. They were on time, efficient and most importantly they cleaned up after themselves! We left them in the house while we ran errands and when we came back all 5 windows were in, the old ones were gone and there was no sign anyone was ever even here! Would absolutely use again and recommend. read more

I had a great experience with this company. I got about 6 estimates before a co-worker recommended them to me. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical because the estimate was so much lower than others, and I couldn't really find any reviews of the company. I was not at all disappointed. The guys are very business-minded, and it shows in the end results. The pricing for everything was standardized, so it was easy to calculate how much extras were going to be. And the price was so good, I ended up getting extras. They never acted as salesmen, just gave me the prices and told me what they could do. It was fantastic and so easy. It's been a Winter and Spring since I had the work done, I wanted to give it some time before I wrote the review. I had all my windows replaced and my front door. I used to hear EVERYTHING outside my windows, now my house is very quiet. I used to have drafts, cold spots, hot spots by the windows and door. None of these problems exist anymore. The gentleman that put in the door even installed the new kick plate I got. They left everything clean. I wish all companies worked this efficiently. Great service, great price. read more

Absolutely amazing experience working with the group of guys from Affordable Window. They were so kind, personable and incredibly professional and went above and beyond our expectations and what we needed. They were so considerate of our home and were in and out by lunch time. We are owners of a multifamily home and plan to use them for all our window and door needs and will continue to in the future. Will never go with anyone else. I'll recommend these guys to everyone that needs new windows and doors. Thanks!!! read more

When the company name is "Affordable Vinyl Windows" they mean it! It was more than affordable. My husband and I got several quotes for new windows then we were given AVW's name. They blew all the others away! It was so nice to just be given a direct quote and not have to listen to the awful sales pitch that other companies do. It was one flat rate per window and that was that. All of our windows have been installed and look great. We couldn't be happier. I have recommended them to others already. My sister and brother in law have already ordered their new windows through them. I strongly suggest giving them a call - it will be worth your while! read more

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Paul and crew from Affordable Windows. They replaced 20 old windows on a house for me in Quincy, MA. The crew showed up promptly on the day they were scheduled, and replaced all of the windows in only 4-5 hours. They kept a very neat workspace and cleaned up after they were done. They even took all of my old windows with them, so I didn't have to worry about disposing of them. I would highly recommend Affordable Windows to any homeowner or contractor who is looking for replacement windows. read more

I had Affordable Vinyl Windows and Siding replace all the old wooden windows in my house as well as put on vinyl siding. I couldn't be happier with the results or the price. Absolutely nobody beat their price and the quality is top notch. Windows can be opened with one finger and are energy star approved. Siding looks beautiful and truly transformed the house. Thanks again read more

Paul and his team just replaced 39 windows in my old farmhouse. We were also skeptical because their quote was so much less than others, and that they said they could do them all in one day. Not only did they finish in one day, but in less than 8 hours. They were all professional and courteous, and the windows are fantastic! Highly recommend. read more

We have had many quotes over the last few years to replace our 40 year old windows. From the very first call, Roger and Paul were professional. They were prompt and responsive to calls and questions. I had the best experience with Paul and his guys during the install. The work was excellent, price can't be beat and an overall fantastic job. Pricing waa clear and easy and there were no surprises. As others have mentioned there was no upsell or hidden charges. read more

I've been dealing with Affordable for 25 years. Three homes of windows (33 in the current house) and the service and product are top of the line. When you get to it, windows are windows so when you compare quality and all things are equal, Affordalbes price beats everyone, but then you add on the service and no one can touch them. Recently a sash had a stress fracture, it was immediately replaced and when we did that, I needed one replaced for Low-E, again, replaced right away. They stand behind their warantee. Now I'm looking at residing my home and with little comparison needed I drove over, received suggestions, options, and pricing. These folks are fantatsic, personal attention today is so hard to find. If you think going to a big box store will get you a better deal you need to visit Affordable. Thanks Roger, see you soon for my siding. read more

I called Affordable windows on October 10th to inquire about replacing our windows. Paul was in our area so he came right over did measurements and gave us a price it was that easy! The price was definitely reasonable. He told me the windows would be ordered and they would call with an install date. They did just that as soon as they were in the scheduled us. Paul told me they would be there at 8:15am and he wasn't kidding ! Just before 8:15am here they came. Everyone was very professional and just dug right in to get the job done. They even secured a couple pieces of siding on the side of my house that they noticed. I say that's above and beyond. They finished before 2pm and they replaced 12 windows. They definitely know what they are doing. They were very neat with their work cleaning up along the way. There were no surprises and no hidden costs. The price was the price. I am so happy with the results. I highly recommend this company you will not be disappointed. read more
