I knew I was getting at Nespresso machine for Christmas so went to the Nespresso Boutique to find out more about the machine and also the various coffees that were available. If you have a Nespresso machine or are interested in getting one, this place is a GEM!! They will make you an espresso or cappuccino with any variety of coffee you want to try. They were so helpful and friendly! They also signed me up for the Nespresso club which gave me a $15 club credit and they gave me a little leather key chain that is connected to my account so whenever I go in they can look me up. It's actually pretty cool if you are into Nespresso!! I will definitely be stopping by here whenever I am in Garden State Plaza so I can try some new flavors and replenish my supply of Nespresso pods. Since my sister got a Nespresso machine I admit I have become a coffee snob. I used to drink drip coffee every day but now drip coffee just seems like such a waste of time ... plus I had to pour so much creme it it to make it palatable. It's amazing how little milk the Nespresso actually uses to make such a tasty drink. Woo Hoo! This is a gem. If you have a Nespresso machine, or desire to own one, and live in Bergen County, you want to come here. The Nesprsso boutique at Sur La Table is great. They will allow you to sample different varieties of capsules you may be interested in purchasing. If it's been a while since your initial assortment, this is a nice opportunity to re-introduce yourself to some varieties you might be interested in trying. Unlike most retail locations, they sell not only machines, but also the capsules. The Nespresso online store sells only in quantities of 50. That seems to work for their packaging, but maybe you don't want to buy 50 at a time...or maybe you want 60 or 70. You can buy as many sleeves of capsues as you like at Sur La Table (10 capsules to a sleeve). The staff is also very knowledgable. Apparently, organic milk does not froth as well in a Latissima plus. Who knew? I did not, but it's still worth it to go organic, even if the froth factor is somewhat diminished. Nespresso rocks. It took me a year and a half to finally see the light, but I love the stuff. I cannot imagine starting my day without it. Sure, I may go on a vacation sometime, but I don't have to think about that now. For now, I will just surround myself in the bliss that is Nespresso! read more

I usually come here to pick up my half year supply of Nespresso pods. The staff is very helpful whenever I ask for their suggestions on flavors and intensity. The boutique is located in the back of Sur La Table. The best part is I rarely ever have to wait in a long line here. I love Nespresso but had a bad experience at the boutique store at the Garden state in Paramus. We waited 49 min on line to get our purchase. They kept running out of coffee so the employee ran out 3x to get replenishment from the other side of the mall from their storage unit. This issue delayed the line for over an hour. Andrea ( who seemed to be the Mgr in charge) was counting and adding receipts instead of assisting the 2 girls at the registered to put the orders together from the back room to speed up the line. Andrea kept sorting , counting and stapling a bunch of receipts for about 30 min. I suggested to her that it would be a great idea to assist customers by asking what they were interested in buying in advance to speed up the line, ( that's what Lululemon does), she looked at me as if I had 2 heads and said, you can place your order when you reach the register. Andrea was not welcoming at all, has no personality and should not be in a management position - Disappointed! read more

Terrible customer service & general disregard for customers. Waited 20 minutes in line and thought it was because of COVID. Nope - we waited another 40 MINUTES on line to purchase INSIDE the store (not even joking). The singular cashier (there was only one cashier, even though there was another associate, she didn't seem to do anything except stare at the store iPad or occasionally give pick-up orders to customers) took FOREVER with each customer. I highly recommend just ordering whatever you want from Nespresso online instead of waiting in line in this purgatorial, claustrophobic retail space. read more

I was looking for something close to the special edition, "Cafecito de Cuba," and the sales associate Seregon, recommend Roma Capsules. She also offered and served me a sample tasting of the expresso which convinced me to buy a box. This is the best boutique in the region with the most friendly staff. Maria has received us and gave us such a great care during our time there. She has told us about specials that we were not aware and even called the central support to sort out some issues we were having! HORRIBLE experience. The older Indian female employee yelled at me (in front of other customers, might I add) for asking to try a sample of their flat white over ice. I went over to the counter with my mother after looking at products and asked to try a sample and instead of answering me, she asked me if I had a machine and an intention to buy products - which was rude considering I was in the store and thus planning to buy something, but I still answered her and told her I do not have a machine but do intend on buying products (gifts for my friends with the machines... didn't tell her that but do I have to tell my life story to her to buy capsules???). So, I asked if these questions were necessary for her to know to try a sample. Though she seemed irritated the whole time, this is when she went off on me and literally yelled at me for god knows what. I was so shocked and so were the customers next to me. Another employee came over and helped me but I was frankly embarrassed even though I had done nothing wrong. I will purchase gifts for my friends on Amazon instead of through this store. Horrible customer service, and ruined my whole experience at the mall today. I saw a review from January 2018 talking about the rudeness of the same employee. Really bad inflexible service. I always buy rosabaya, and try to discover additional flavors. At Nespresso boutique I asked to taste dulsao. I was hoping to share my experience today. My Nespresso vertuoplus suddenly stopped working a few days ago and the machine was purchased a little over a year ago. I decided to bring it into the shop at garden state mall for an evaluation and possible repair or exchange. The Nespresso representatives Maria and Alexandra were very and apologetic about the machine not working and was initially informed that the item could be not replaced because it was over a year since it was purchased. The vertuoplus was purchased in November 2017 and as a result I was told that the machine could not be replaced. I then requested to speak to customer care over the phone and was connected to someone named Aaron. The customer care rep over the phone named Aaron identified me as a "moderate spending customer" which was simply outrageous. A customers' purchasing power shouldn't dictate the type or quality of care they receive. Whether a customer purchases one capsule or spends $1000 on a purchase, The customer should receive the same service irrespective of their spending power. I will write to Nespresso regional customer care in attempt to have this employee retrained to never identify or label any customer based on the purchasing potential or spending power. Maria who was extraordinarily helpful did go above and beyond by offering to call her Customer Care and had the nonfunctional unit replaced. My posting this is to complement Maria, Alejandra and John the store manager for their excellent customer care in remedying this difficulty. Nespresso, you should be proud of your exemplary staff who interact on a day to day basis with your customers! You have another grateful customer. read more

For those of us who own a Nespresso machine, amazing at-home espresso drinks come with the caveat that purchasing the capsules must be done from Nespresso directly. While many people will opt for online mail-order, there are those of us who need instant gratification. The Nespresso boutique at Sur La Table is a store-within-a-store, very conveniently located at Garden State Plaza. The boutique is staffed by courteous, knowledgable associates, and being in a Sur La Table just makes for a more interesting shopping experience. So yesterday was my first time to buy some coffee, the first guy helped us was not very informative, he give us the selection to choose, which we have no idea what, then second guy, I think he is an Italian, he is great. He helped us to make the decision. Just a small suggestion, if next time, some first time purchaser walk in the door, let them taste two total different kind, and one of them is your favorite. Several visits and i am just always turned off by the unfriendly customer service i receive in this location. Fine, it's the only store in NJ but do not let it get into your heads, it's just coffee, no biggie. No greetings when you get to the booth and it takes forever for them to ring you up. Very slow service and attendants always look like they are subdued and bored with their jobs. Nestle should think about re-training frontliners in this location. Very Nice boutique but just gave me a bad experience on my first time there (1-29-18), the indian sales woman was so rude and seems to be always irritated by my questions, I'm just there to purchase refill capsules for my new machine so I think it's normal for me as a first time buyer to be asking about flavors and types of capsules. The lady seems to be irritated in answering me and to think i'm the only customer there it wasn't even busy. i also ask her about the amber light in the button in which she told me that it needs to be descaled and giving me explanation which I wasn't sure I understood on how to do it but bought the descaling thing anyway. After she handed it to me, i was just asking for a repeat explanation on how to do it and she just gave me a huge exhale as if she was irritated with me. i wanted to confront her that moment with her attitude but I just controlled myself because I don't want to create a scandal event and its not worth it just over some refill capsules. I used to live in the area, but now I have to travel a little over an hour to get to this location. Unfortunately, there are no other Nespresso boutiques closer to me. However, I much prefer to come here for the customer service over purchasing online. Rhea Sanghvi, the boutique manager, is so wonderful! She is extremely knowledgeable about each and every coffee/espresso blend and I told her I want to keep her in my pocket so she can describe every single type to me before I drink it! The story she tells makes me gain a brand new appreciation for each and every one of them. From the flavor notes, to the way they were harvested, to the people and the climate where they were cultivated, each one has a very unique story and really brings each cup to life. I miss SO much that the tasting experience is not available right now because newbies really get to see and experience it in this way. I had an issue with some of my pods last time because my machine was unable to read the barcodes correctly, but she was wonderful and gave me replacements without any issues. Oh! I also love to bring back my used pods so they can recycle them - I love that this company stands for sustainability as well. SO many things that I love about Nespresso and this location in particular. Well worth the trip! I always end up spending way more than I anticipated and go through ALL of them. The customer service here makes me want to come back again and again! Seriously, ask Rhea to describe your favorite blend to you! read more
