I moved to Rutherford, NJ recently and wanted to support this local spot. It is literally right by my house. The staff are genuinely kind, super helpful, friendly, and always smiley. They are so kind and friendly. But the owner is a total nightmare. Every single time I come in with my service dog (yes, certified), she or someone under her pressure tells me no dogs allowed. Even after I explain and show papers, and I have been here 4 or 5 times already. Today, April 1, 2026, same story. My dog is my only companion, and this place keeps making it impossible. Staff try their best, but the owner keeps harassing them too. If you are an animal lover or need your service animal, skip this place. Not worth the stress. Never coming back. Big letdown. read more

Decided to try Rutherford coffee with some friends and had an awesome experience. I got the iced caramel macchiato which was absolutely delicious and I was blown away by the quality of the coffee. I got the almond croissant as a little sweet treat that was was equally good. The space is super clean and modern and the staff was super friendly and nice. When I entered the smell of buttery goodness was in the air and I was greeted by two very nice baristas. They made a very good Americano and steamed the milk for me. The small was the perfect size of 4ounces. I also picked up chicken and beef empanadas. They were very good. Plenty of seating and they also have a cute little outdoor area in the back. read more

What a cute spot! Upon walking in the ambience is really chill and welcoming. It's a pretty big space which is great for meetups or a change of scenery for people who work from home and love a good coffee, or two, or three! I had picked up an iced matcha with almond milk and really enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy the up charge of using a card to purchase so just beware it's better to pay in cash here. $9+ for a matcha because of the card charged was a bit much for me. Normally it was around $7 as I had almond milk. They have Colombian empanadas and other baked goods here which are in my list to try next as well as bringing in cash to pay for it. We've been numerous times since the new owners took over and we love it! My favorite is the coconut latte. They are BUSY on Sundays so keep that in mind. Employees were all great, that design is nice and cozy, lots of small seatings (tables for 2). The food tasted good overall but my BLT had a slice and half of bacon on it. The croissant was very good and my fiancés ham and cheese was good also. Our coffee was good, nothing special but not bad. I'd give it a shot again it was pretty busy the whole time we were there so many the BLT just wasn't the right move. read more

Had the day off today so I thought I'd treat myself, and having seen a post for the toasted marshmallow hot chocolate on IG the day before I knew exactly where to go. I've lived in Rutherford for 10yrs and I'm ashamed to say I've never been here! I'm not a coffee drinker but there's other things to drink and eat! The guy at the register was nice and welcoming, great service! I got my toasted marshmallow hot chocolate and a pandebono (Colombian cheese bread) and made my way to a comfy couch at the front of the Cafe. It's so nice and cozy here, definitely could see myself coming back. My hot chocolate could have been a bit hotter but I'll blame myself since I was busy taking pictures and video, camera eats first haha But still good and the pandebono was perfect, I could eat like 10 of those! I love the ambiance of this coffee shop - the decor is so cute and the varied seating options give this cafe character. Ordered an iced latte, pandebono (cheese bread), and a beef puff pastry. Everything was delicious!! I wolfed down the cheese bread and the puff pastry which complemented each other well. The puff pastry was more savory and the cheese bread had a slight sweetness. LOVE this place. Came here on a random Sunday after church and been hooked since. My usual go-to is the dulce de leche latte which is divine! As well as the coconut americano. The staff inside are so kind and always greet you with a smile and positive attitude. The decor is so cute, with different types of seating and plants !!!!! I agree, this is a cute little cafe! Seems like the hotspot for people to come in with their laptops. My son and I decided to order the pandebono bacon and egg sandwich and egg and cheese sandwich, respectively. My fault for not realizing they do not have a grill, so the egg was processed. They mentioned that you only get one slice of bacon with the sandwich. Unfortunately, I do not eat pork and they do not carry turkey bacon. The pandebono itself was good, but overall the sandwiches were a little underwhelming. We also asked for the passion fruit smoothie, which I believe is one of their best sellers. My son did not like after the first sip, and asked if he could exchange for a cold brew. He could not, and was offered extra sugar instead for the smoothie. This place is a hidden gem (so I shouldn't tell yall about it). The staff is great. The coffee is way better than all the chain spots and the baristas are really knowledgeable about their product. I going there to work and the only opportunity they have is that the tables have slats in them. For the coffee they even have real mugs for you to drink from instead of the same take out cup. read more

Very cute and eclectic little coffee shop! Right off Park Ave, this is a nice new addition to town. I stopped by after a little morning walk and it was so nice inside. Friendly staff and beautiful art everywhere. I loved it. The decor was also absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful furniture everywhere you turn. I got a latte and a flat white. The latte was really great, perfect temperature. I also got some treats. The ham and cheese croissant was just calling my name. Once I took it home I threw it in the air fryer for just a minute to crisp up and it was perfect. The delicious tart I got was the star of the show - super decadent dulce de leche with almonds in a perfect crust. Really really good, if I could get a whole pie of that filling I'd order one! Overall a great little spot, perfect to just grab a quick bite and some caffeine or equally great to sit and get some work done if you need to. They had their wifi password available too! read more

Super cute spot that I had on my list to try since I just moved here. Found out it's columbian on their website and I love columbian coffee but I also love columbian hot chocolate so I decided to try the HC first - so delicious!!! I do wish they filled the cup just a little more but it's ok. I'll be going back to try the coffee next. I also got a pandebono and it was so delicious I didn't even have time to take a picture of it because I ate it too quick. Service was good and the people were very nice. My friends and I stopped here after our meal to grab a coffee. I wasn't expecting much but when I walked in, the art on the wall grabbed my attention and it seemed like a really cute place to relax and hang out which is exactly what my friends and I did. I've had a million chai lattes in my lifetime and I was expecting it to taste just like the rest, however, it is probably the most delicious I've ever had. This place now has #1 chai latte!!!! What a surprise!!! There was something very light about the roast or atleast tasted light which is so nice on a full stomach. Just enough chai and I got it with a oat milk and I couldn't taste the difference that I used an alternative milk choice. Nice addition to our main street by the Train Station and it's much bigger than our other local coffee shops, and much better decor with lovely wall art. For the coffee lovers they have espresso and pour overs, and also they make teas, with my favorite their chai latte. Soy, almond or oat milk is extra. I came here because a client grabbed me a cup of coffee and it was pretty good. So I come back today and to my dismay a 16oz iced coffee was $11.45... are we out of our minds? No wonder this place had nothing but cricket noises in it. As I'm paying I realize the teenagers behind the counter have pre-added their own tip on. I selected "no tip" and it took the price down to $9.40. I'd rather just go to Starbucks, the menu options are ten times better there anyways. Upon grabbing my coffee one of the smug kids says "we don't need the coin I guess". Not entirely sure what that means. 3/10 read more

Found a place we now frequent. You walk in and the smell of fresh brewed coffee mixed with fresh baked Columbian pastries. We love the beef and chicken Pastelies. The coffee is delicious and fast service. Eat in or take out, a great place. read more
