Stopped in to do work and liked the vibe! Upon entering I was greeted and asked what I would like by the cashier. I ordered a plane croissant and a smoothie. The croissant was fresh and flaky and the smoothie was good, but a little bland (I am very critical of smoothies). The chocolate croissant was tasty and had Nutella. Yum! Music is playing but it was not distracting. There was ample seating and the decor is very cute. Big windows allowed for a lot of natural light to fill the space which I love. Ordered a coffee with cream & a chocolate croissant. Was told the chocolate croissant was sold out, so I ordered a regular croissant. After waiting over 10 minutes, I was given a black coffee, no croissant. The guy looked confused and indicated that he had told me it was sold out. I reminded him that I had changed the order from a chocolate croissant to a plain croissant, and he didn't understand what I was saying. At that point I left. I really wanted to support a local business instead of heading over to dunkin' donuts but I would have been in and out. For what it's worth, there were plenty of plain croissants. They need to work on the ventilation or something because if I run in for a coffee even for five minutes I end up leaving smelling like the kitchen. What a lovely addition to Park Ave. I've been to a Stevens cafe before and I'm not sure if this one is newer but I definitely enjoyed my experience here better. I'd been following them on Facebook and when I saw they had a pistachio cream filled croissant I had to go and get one! So delicious, super fresh and flaky. The pistachio cream was perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. The staff was also friendly. They have a ton of other breakfast goodies. They also offer sandwiches, parfaits, and I saw just about every bagel you could imagine. Overall a great shop, a bit pricey but it's a nice treat once in a while. read more

Interior finishes are very modern: wood slats, beige stone flooring, black (jet mist color) countertop and chairs, green wall and Dyson Airblade in the one-person restroom. We tried a small cup of cold brew and a mango passion smoothie. Although I didn't expect ice cubes in cold brew (I usually don't like diluted cold brew) but not bad. The mango smoothie mixed with almond milk was not too heavy but not too light. was so excited to try this new cafe out, been seeing signs that it was opening for a few months now. The inside is beautifully decorated, with loads of spots to sit down and enjoy a pastry and some caffeine or you can get your fix to go. When you walk around to the cashier, you pass the glass displays of all the baked goods so you will be tempted to try something. I decided on my typical oatmilk latte, and I also got a pistachio croissant to go. My order was ready in minutes! I have a 5 min drive back home, and I noticed my latte was super dark (not creamy/smooth like a latte should be) and no slight milk foam. I had to add my own foamed oat milk to it to make it creamy - after doing so, it was delicious! That was the only sad part, but boy was that pistachio croissant good! read more

Well finally got a chance to check this place after the low-key opening. The decore here is nice and stylish. I expected to see desserts, cakes, croissants here along with a full selection of coffee. But I didn't think they would offer breakfast omelets, wraps, sandwiches, bagels, Avacodo Toast, and they top it off with Acai and Pitaya bowls. Plus you not only can get smoothies and juices, but they use an automatic orange juicer to fresh squeeze it when you order. As I browse around I checked out the assortment of Macarons but I was more impressed with the cake display, and almost went for the Rainbow cake but settled for the Tiramisu Ladyfinger cake along with my Americano. OMG, it was the Tiramisu cake was the best I ever tasted, rich creamy flavorful, even better than anything they got in little Italy. My Americano was good too they are using premium coffee here. Steven's cafe is going above and beyond. They supply paper cups, lids, and cup sleeves. Their cups have accessories, but I hope they don't keep adding accessories to them. I don't need my cup to have a cute scarf or sleeve. All Steven's Cafe should really be responsible for is supplying the coffee. The majority of people that drink coffee have found ways to drink it at home or on the move without constantly using paper cups. Steven's Cafe could start rewarding customers that bring in their own reusable cup by paying a little less for the coffee. Customers could save money and Steven could save money by not buying as many paper cups and accessories. Anyway, on this particular day I was glad they had paper cups, but next time I'll plan on bringing my own cup. read more

We have come to Steven's Cafe since its opening great coffee and pastries, smoothies, and wraps $40-50 dollars breakfasts........well really cozy place to hang out. Stevens Cafe we helped to build up the business... for a couple of years now. Sadly this week we were denied service when we walked in with our Dog as we had every week and every other weekend for the last 2+ years, with our Dog, I repeat. Now, Dogs are not allowed at the place anymore for unknown reasons and out of nowhere. It is very disappointing to be greeted like that and denied service after being a loyal customer for years and months, will bring my business somewhere else. Shameful to be honest. I bet Mngmnt will ignore this review but it is OK plenty of places to go. There are a bunch of coffee shops down the block and guess what ??. a lot cheaper and Very pet-friendly. read more

I rarely ever leave reviews but this place just pisses me off. Second time I'm here and the staff (all of them) are like robots - ZERO personality. Also they have no idea what good coffee is. NONE/CLUELESS. Additionally, I had one chocolate chip cookie and after one bite I had to throw it out. It was so incredibly dry that I could barely swallow it. First time here, I work in the area and wanted to try something new. My mom and I came in for coffees and a snack and went with the iced coffee and and iced latte with croissants. My iced latte was delicious, but my mom was disappointed with her iced coffee which I had a sip to confirm. It tasted super old and had a horrible after taste, for the price of iced coffees these days I took it back to the counter and suggested someone from their team try it. I asked for them to just make my mom a iced americano to which he CHARGED US ANOTHER $5 something. I did not say anything I just paid for the additional drink politely and walked out, but you can for sure know I will not walk back in there. That is not customer service, especially when most likely the whole batch of coffee was not drinkable and they should not have been serving that to customers. read more

It's has a kind of watered down taste. Also don't order anything steamed or any lattes. You would think a coffee shop would have any industrial grade frother but I have ordered both lattes and coffee with steamed milk and they both had no foam.
