My experience here was 1000/10!!! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, they showed me to the tasting counter and I was offered every type of coffee they had for tasting. Both the greeter and the baristas were so helpful, helped me find the notes and flavors I gravitate most towards, and gave me recommendations for similar flavors to get. The place is so spacious and nicely decorated, I love that the tasting bar is at a different spot and gives you enough room to stand and roam around if you'd like. We visited the Paramus Nespresso Boutique today, a Saturday, and had a very good experience. We were greeted by Alexandra when we walked in who put our name in the que. Although it was busy, Alexandra asked if we'd like to sample some coffees up at the Coffee bar while we waited. My husband and I tried two iced coffees. While the Barista made our coffees we Took the opportunity to ask some questions. She explained that for an iced coffee to use a Double espresso pod and that the "iced" flavors were usually stronger so they wouldn't dilute with ice. Who knew?! Before we knew it, Nadia called our name and we brought our iced coffees over to a table where she was able to help us with some glassware we wanted, as well as help with some flavor selections. I was pretty upset last time we came. We came in wanting to buy new seasonal pods, but wanted to taste test first. We waited around the counter, waiting to be helped with our baby sitting in the stroller. They prioritized people who came in after us, and people who weren't even there to buy. Avoid Vertuo Next Machines!! I purchased a Nespresso Vertuo Next and immediately ran into problems--the top wouldn't close right out of the box. I brought it home excited to upgrade our 10-year-old machine, especially for the cold brew feature, but couldn't even get started because it was defective. After a quick online search, I found many other customers reporting the same issue, along with other recurring problems like leaking. It's concerning to see how widespread these defects appear to be and Nespresso continuing to sell them. I also noticed Nespresso markets a "Vertuo Next Relove" line of refurbished machines- are there that many machines failing that Nespresso made a whole new product line to sell their junk? In the end, I had to return the machine and all the pods I purchased with it. What should have been a simple upgrade turned into a complete waste of time. Very disappointing experience. read more

Nice location. Friendly staff. Now I know what's like in whole Nespresso store is like. I checked in the walk in where a person tool my phone nunber and put me a queue. I was escorted to Nespresso bar where they made you a drink and then they call me to go to counter where they amswered all the question I had. All kind of way to make drink and what each variety of poss they had. They gave me some great ideas to make nice coffee/espresso things. I was instantly welcomed when I arrived at the boutique. I browsed around the store and all of the staff were very welcoming and willing to answer questions about the coffee machines. They had several samples you could try and I really enjoyed the overall experience. I tried the caramel coffee pod and was impressed by it. The store is also very nicely maintained . I find the Nespresso boutiques better than ordering online because they hold extra limited edition coffee pods whereas online when it's sold out it's done. The associates have all been pretty helpful in terms of customer service. And I've never had a problem asking them to make a pod so I can try it before buying it. This location is neat and clean and they hold a lot of accessories,coffee pods, limited edition coffee pods and machines. read more

If I didn't know better my boyhood training in Catholicism kicked in, indicating that I was nearing the long ago discarded afterlife nether region called "Limbo." So the front of the line now shimmers on the horizon... you better know what you want because the aspiring genius bar wannabes have no tolerance for indecision as they goose-step behind the counter. "Can you tell me how it works?" "How about you go home and look at the tutorial." "How about you go... ... yourself." Condescension and coffee, sounds like a great idea for a novella. Not a great first experience and totally bummed out by this. I was so excited to be gifted a Nespresso machine as a house warming gift and I was so eager to try it out. As any new user, I don't know much. But first things first, I needed coffee! I stopped in today to buy some coffee pods and was greeted and served by someone who seemed very bothered. I informed her I was a first time Nespresso user and apologize as I didn't know much. She didn't care to explain anything to me. Stared impatiently waiting for me to give my order. I felt very rushed and uncomfortable. I asked a few questions and felt pretty unwelcome during my visit. There was no explanation of the coffee what so ever. Basically handed me a paper to read myself. I ended up buying six sleeves. Not even sure if I'll like them, as I wasn't provided any feedback or recommendations. Thankfully there's a return policy for items un opened. I also asked if there are any free samples I could try out as I saw online you receive them with a purchase. I was told no. To then over heard the sweet sales lady next to me offering a free cup to try to a customer in store. Not sure why I wasn't worthy of that by my lady. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! The lady probably the Supervisor does not really know how to communicate. The Bundle was being returned and I was told that it included a $10 worth of chocolates. I explained it to her that I did not get any chocolates. according to her, the person who sold me is very thorough which she was implying that "she doesn't believe me". The worst feeling of as if I am lying and got those chocolates. Honestly, the only reason I am returning was due to the price of about $130. again, she said she can't do it. Nice shop located in garden state plaza. The store is consistently clean and presentable. There is always the option to rest of different flavors at the sampling bar. I stopped in because of course, the day after I place my large nespresso order, pumpkin flavor comes out for fall. The store was easy to find and they did have every option there. I guess the only thing I would've liked was better tasting options, I wasn't sure how many sleeves of the pumpkin I wanted and I probably would've gotten less had I tried it. It's good but not as good as I expected it be. Overall not the stores fault since they are probably limited as to what they could serve. read more

This is the ultimate place to go if you're thinking about getting a coffee maker even if it's not an espresso you have to try this store So that you can sample their coffees. The store set up very well very organized very clean and very spacious. I hope the store stays around for a while sometimes I can never tell with these pop-up stores. This store also has something that a lot of the other coffee manufacturers do not have they actually have recycling on the promises you can bring in your old pods here and they can recycle them for you. read more

The customer service here is awful. We came in hoping to sample flavors and possibly buy some pods if we liked them (either here or online). Every employee seemed to be preoccupied with a customer or with something else and did not even greet us. We waited for several minutes but the situation did not change. It was rude of the staff to continue to ignore us, but we figured maybe they were busy and decided to leave and come back a little bit later. When we went back, there had been a shift change but all employees still seemed preoccupied and totally ignored us. We waited a bit before finally asking an employee who was moving boxes around if we could sample some flavors. She obliged but seemed annoyed the whole time. We felt uncomfortable and left soon after trying a little. It was our first time visiting a Nespresso boutique after getting a machine and it was pretty disappointing... I love my Nespresso machine, but this visit left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope other locations aren't the same way. read more

This is a convenient store for Nespresso owners with amazing customer service. They do a pretty good job social distancing, though they are a bit rude to customers while enforcing these measures. It also gets very crowded in the store, and you're almost always guaranteed a significant wait time before you can buy anything. Also selections for espresso pods for the virtuoso machine are limited (less than 5 different kinds including decaf). read more

Customer Service is not the best. I just visited yesterday, both times I went in there was a long line. They had a poster displayed that claimed to help with the wait. By scanning the QR code and entering your number a text will be sent when your turn was approaching. I did that and parked my children up at a restaurant nearby, I received my text and went to the store. I told the customer service rep at the entrance and she was clueless. "I don't know who logged in to the system and text you, there is a line now". Ma'am what does that mean? I would assume that it wouldn't have been too difficult to find out who text me and help get me help. But no, that proved to be super hard for her, god forbid she needed to actually provide good customer service and help. SMH. I love my nespresso but this employee and store is not a good representation of the company. When walking into a boutique, we are supposed to feel luxury and have a great experience. Went to the store because I purchased a defective Vertuo Next less than a month ago. I tried to get it resolved through their customer service and after multiple troubleshoot attempts, some incorrect status info on the replacement, I gave up and went back to the store. I was greeted by a friendly woman who listened to my issue and directed me to where to go for help. I was helped by a women named Maria who went above and beyond to correct my issue. She called customer service and waited a long time to get the online replacement cancelled and replaced it with a machine in the store. Although they didn't have the color that i originally had, she replaced with a machine that was priced higher, but just made it an even exchange. She advised that if anything was wrong with the replacement that she would be happy to help if needed. Crossing fingers that this new machine works. read more

Own a machine and 2 cousins do. Went for the first time seemed busy and no associate available to help. Left and returned back. Not busy at all. One associate available the Indian lady. We wanted to buy capsule packs for me and gifts too. Just like the other reviewers here they didn't have a pleasant experience with her. Our first time buying in store since our starter pack is finished. Didn't offer for us to sample. Store doesn't close for another hour and a half Just had to ask what's good what's recommended. The Nespresso upstairs at the Garden State Plaza is like shopping at a discount store. The employees are not friendly like they are downstairs. When I shop for Expresso I always look for Felipe or Andrea- they are great always recommending new blends that I would like based on my taste and buying habits.
