It was delicious. Everything was made fresh! Service was great, server was super nice and decided to open a little earlier for us. Atmosphere was pretty amazing, gave Nepali and India vibes with gold accents, temples as portraits, and also spacious inside. They had incents going so it gave a calming atmosphere. We ordered several dishes; lamb biriyani, chicken curry, garlic naan, momo plate. So good, if we were ever back in town, I'd like to come back. Till then, let's eat!

The food served here is authentic and exquisite. I have ever only heard good things about it. The restaurant itself is quite nice and the service is very friendly, but since my friend used to live really close by we usually settled for takeaway. The curries are all very tasty and perfectly spiced. Kathmandu is not only an Indian restaurant but also serves Nepalese, as its name suggests. The best dish on the menu is a mild Nepalese curry served with mangos called 'Lamb Nepal'. I think I could live on this dish everyday if I had half the chance. Next time you venture out West, make sure to stop by this amazing restaurant.

You can taste that the ingredients are fresh and the food is piping hot when it is served. Just to warn you though that it is best advised not to order two spicy dishes at the same time unless you want to challenge your chilli-tolerance as these dishes are genuinely full of spices. I have been blessed enough to eat at this restaurant twice so far and I'm sure I will visit again. All the main dishes I have tried have been superb so pick at your leisure. The naan bread and salad are so fresh they are crisp. The only item I would say avoid is the pineapple dessert as the ice cream is chalky and not creamy so something went wrong there. If you get a chance, speak to and seek the recommendation of the lady who owns this restaurant (called Sunya I believe) as she is a delightful character who knows her food inside out.

However the food is excellent thoroughly reccomend the nepalese chicken curry in tomato sauce.... absolutley beautiful really thick and tasty.. garlic naam was not dissimilar to those that I had in India. The service was impeccable and I witnessed 'the lady of the house' suggesting selections from the menu that would work better together so rarely seen these days that staff are interested in what you eat. This is our second visit to wembley to visit the stadium and this is the restaurant that i loked forward to visiting the most!! Roll on our next visit......

The wait staff was incredibly attentive and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. All the dishes were to die for and the waitstaff was amazing when I had any questions. Before coming here I had been woefully ignorant of Nepalese cuisine and I have never been happier to be educated. I have quite literally never had anything bad from this restaurant. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely amazing. They are very accommodating about your preferences as well - my friend requests extra spice and I request less and it's always perfect when we get it! I can't recommend this highly enough!

We came midweek and it was reassuringly busy. Service was attentive and friendly. Not exactly a complaint, but Montys is one of those Indians that offers a free vegetable selection-slices of courgette, beef tomatoes, lettuce and carrot-all at the start when you have nothing to eat it with". I imagine most are half left (as ours was). The food was very tasty. The tikka had a rich deep sauce and was made (correctly) with chicken tikka pieces. The vindaloo was rightly described a "very hot" and I'm glad to say was very hot, it creeping up on my taste buds and mugging them gradually-really rich and deep with tamarind, just as it should be. The Indians in the centre of Ealing tend not to be great, hence my reluctance to visit. I shall however return to this Montys (I still don't get how lots of "Montys" have the same signage but are not connected-that's a different story I guess)
