Chicken Tikki Masala

Friendly staff and owner helped us order. The Chicken Tikki Masala was delicious, also enjoyed the desserts too! Definitely stop by this place if you come to London!

Great food and service! Was a little quiet, so not much atmosphere, but a great local option if you're in the area.

Good value for money. I wasn't sure what to order so followed house recommendations. Mongo delight is impressive.

Really great food and service, but the food gave me severe gastritis and I was at the hospital ER until the next morning.

The restaurant had the most tender chicken marsala and the most tender tandoori lamb. Excellent food. Fast service and very friendly.

The Warwick Arms has a quirky decor and charming ambiance. It's a typical British pub, and although it has a section of the menu devoted to British pub classics, the majority of the menu is dedicated to Indian cuisine. I'm not sure if there are other pubs in London serving Indian food, but it is the perfect combination! We sampled many dishes during our 2 visits here, including chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, saag paneer, vegetable biryani, basmati rice, and garlic and cilantro naan. Everything was absolute perfection. There wasn't a single bite of food that we didn't love. The Pimm's and Lemonade was a delightful and refreshing discovery for us. We enjoyed glasses of it our first night, and then on our final night when we returned with a larger group we split a pitcher. Our server was polite and friendly on both occasions. I was honestly unsure before visiting the Warwick Arms because although the reviews online are fantastic their website is minimal and doesn't even publish their menu, but I am so glad we stopped by. I would 100% recommend the Warwick Arms to anyone visiting London, especially if you are staying in the Kensington area.

There are so many restaurants to choose from - from hole in the walls to Michelin Starred so we decided to fall somewhere in the middle and found Thali within walking distance to our hotel. It a small space that was open to the outside given the hot day! The service was lovely and friendly throughout and our meal was delicious! We started with poppadoms and Chutney which were delicious then had a couple of appetizers that was also lovely! We enjoyed vegetable samosas and pakoras before moving on to our mains! We tried three : Tandoori chicken for the meat eaters any my daughter and I shared the Dal and paneer makani - the paneer dish was the best I had ever had and paired perfectly with the raita and naan!! Left stuffed but very happy - have yet to have any curry in the US that even comes close ! Loved it !!

However, even served cold...the shrimp was tasty. We ultimately had 5 king fishers a bottle of Chianti and 4 or 5 appetizers.....220 quid! A restaurant should respect its customers, not insult them for their food choices. Telling people…read morethey "can't force their choice" is absurd--what kind of restaurant refuses to accommodate preferences? If you serve food, customers have every right to order what they want. That's how hospitality works. What's worse is their disrespectful attitude toward Indians, looking down on customers while profiting from Indian cuisine. If you don't respect the people whose culture you represent, you shouldn't be in this business. There are many better restaurants that welcome diners with respect. Avoid this place.

I ordered over the phone as I have a Chicken Pathia fetish - having to have that dish whenever I have a curry from somewhere new, and as it wasn't on the menu I couldn't order it online due to not knowing how much it would cost! The chap on the end of the phone was very pleasant, and went to ask the chef how much my curry love would cost. They have a minimum £10 order so I chose my standard plain rice and plain naan which with 2 complimentary poppadums and complimentary chutney weighed in at just over £11. Not the cheapest I've ever had (and not the most expensive either!) but this is about what I'd expect to pay for a good meal delivered. Delivery took exactly 20 minutes, though I do live remarkably close to this place it turns out. The food came with the curry in a heat-sealed package, which I like, I think it looks very neat and clean and stops the curry spilling everywhere in transit. The rest was in plastic tubs, except naan and poppadums of course, which were still intact! It was piping hot and smelt delicious with not a hint of grease or oil floating around the top. Tender and moist chicken, a good thick sauce and a good chilli kick which didn't detract from the taste made for a great Pathia, possibly one of the better ones I've tasted. It was very coriandery though, which I myself am not fond of, but that didn't put me off as the quality was good. Naan was possibly a little undercooked and so fairly rubbery and stodgy, and I've never seen sesame seeds on a plain naan before, but it was still acceptable, and the poppadums very good, though the condiments (mango chutney and an onion salad) were in plastic pots which got hot during the journey and so the mango smelt, and tasted slightly of, plastic. Rice very good, and the small portion I got was easily a 2-person portion (I must point out I did only eat half!) and so I can only imagine how big a "Large" portion would be! Good solid curry, with a few things that just let it down a tad. And I'm thankful I spotted the cardamom seed before it spotted me!

We still had to pay for rice and naan on the side and additionally were charged a 14% service fee which is absurd for the quality of service, food, and atmosphere. We were also charged 5£ for a water we did not order or drink. They refused to refund us for the water and didn't even acknowledge that the mistake was on their end completely. We weren't offered any form of compensation other than them giving us the 5£ bottle of water (that we didn't want nor ask for). Appetizers were charged per person instead of per portion so we as a group of 4 payed twice the amount of money as the group of 2 next to us despite eating the same amount of appetizers. When we tried to take a photo of the receipt he tried grabbing it out of my friends hand. The whole experience felt like a scam honestly from the main entrees not coming with rice or bread to being charged for things we didn't order. I do not recommend this place at all i'm pretty sure there's a spot on the other side of the park that's a quarter of the price with way larger portions.
