Our party of six turned up just as they opened. They were very accommodating and friendly. We ordered a combination of main and sides dishes and shared family style. From mild to spicy, chicken lamb and vegetarian. The naan bread was delicious and for desert we had the traditional goolab jamum and kulfi. Our waiters were prompt and attentive. We would recommend highly!

This was amazing... order this!

We were a bit torn - really wanted Indian cuisine but wanted something relatively close. Turns out, I would have taken the tube for this. Very crowded so we second-guessed but decided to go for it. They seated us in the cozy back room. The service was wonderful. The stuff in the picture attached was AMAZING. Each sauce has a unique flavor and each is so flavorful. We also did the naan - and had to order another out of pure gluttony. The chicken madras curry was about perfect. The chicken vindaloo was superbly spicy. I loved everything about this place.

Didn't realize what Uk Indian food taste like until I gave it a try. Couple differences compared to that of US: 1. Sauce is light and chunkier; 2. Less seasoned and less creamier; 3. Generally speaking on the sweeter side. By no means I am an expert but I do have a suspicion if different region might produce different flavor of chicken Tikka. On this one, I vote for Indian food in Houston USA.

Samosa w/ corn and roasted red pepper (?)

Perhaps it's different as a sit down restaurant but as a takeaway this place is awful. I ordered: - Paneer Tikka Masala (Mild) - other reviews said they had very spicy food here so I erred on the side of less spice. Unfortunately this dish had no seasoning and was overly sweet. Did not taste like tikka masala at all, more like a bottled, sugary tomato purée. - Peas Piau - this had barely any peas but was also quite flavorless. It tasted like instant rice you'd get at a cheap buffet. - Vegetable Samosa - the item is singular so I expected one robust, crispy samosa wrapped in that typical thick crust. Instead I got 3 small samosas that were so greasy they were wrapped in 2 paper bags and still got grease everywhere. They were also flaky and crunchy like a spring roll or spanakopita. They were also under seasoned and filled with corn and roasted red pepper - definitely not the typical Indian flavor I was expecting, but also overly sweet. There were also no sauces included and no option to ask for them included or indication they should be requested separately. - Papadum - completely undercooked, making them limp instead of crunchy. They also lacked any included sauce and didn't include an option to add it. - Mint sauce - again, extremely sweet. Yogurt based which is fine for some people but it did little to add flavor to this awful meal. - Cheese Naan - probably the only decently edible thing, but the cheese was unevenly distributed making it a tiny portion of cheese naan and mostly plain naan. I don't think I'll give it a chance as a sit down after this, but I can't recommend you order delivery or takeaway from here.

We found this lovely little restaurant after getting turned away at another spot that was too busy to take walk-ins. Well, that was a blessing in disguise because we ended up loving our meal at Paradise! We started with Samosas and a plate of naan with various dipping sauces. Great way to kick it off. For dinner, we had the chicken vindaloo - very spicy, just the way we love it! We paired it with a Sauvignon Blanc that was just so so but to be fair, we didn't ask for a pairing rec so that one is on us. We would definitely return here for dinner if we were staying longer in the area as it was by the far the most kick I've had in a meal since being in the U.K.! And I love a good spicy kick :)

Very nice inexpensive Indian food restaurant . The food is very good. The service is too. It is a smaller place and is very nice.

We managed to snag a reservation here before coming to London on a Saturday around 6:30 PM. We got there right on time and and our table was ready immediately. We had great booth in the back of the restaurant so it wasn't too loud. We all ordered some drinks when we sat down and opted for a Kingfisher to drink. For appetizers, we got some samosas and chili chicken which were delicious! They also gave us some of these rice crackers with different sauces which were delicious. For our entrees, we got some biryani, ruby chicken and rice, malai chicken, the gunpowder potatoes and 3 orders of naan! It was all delicious! The biryani with the yogurt sauce is my personal favorite but their garlic naan is great too. For dessert, we got the chocolate cake and I opted for the chai to end the meal which was delicious! This meal was stunning and you must stop by Dishoom while in London.

Since we were full, we ordered small and it was the perfect amount for us: Vegetable Samosa - get it Garlic naan - get it, goes great with this entree Roti - not ideal for this entree, but maybe with something else, delicious, but too thin, not enough structure, thin tortilla like Basmati rice - get it for this entree Ruby chicken - get it bc it's so good! Our server also surprised us with chocolate lava cake and lightly spicy ice cream to wish us good luck on the marathon and it was so good!!! The perfect ending to an amazing meal. Do not miss out on Dishoom!

My family tried seafood tasting menu (£125 pp approx $160) but they also offer vegetarian tasting menu for a slightly lower fare £115 pp Their Cod was probably one of the best we ever had. Oyster 2 ways was served very creative, cold with smoked red pepper and hot, pan fried with pepper masala. Vegetarian tasting menu was a bit of disappointment. They started with banana stem soup which was served warm almost tepid, to me soup should be hot. I had to return it. Rest of vegetarian menu seemed like regular South Indian dishes and taste was just ok. Service was quite sub par considering the expectation of a Michelin star restaurant. Our drinks were not filled on time.. we ordered a bottle of champagne and had to hunt down our server to refill it as he kept it in a bucket far away from us. The staff lacked experience in describing the dish. After the dessert course, one of the servers got something sweet in a plate, just kept it and left. I asked her what it was and she had no idea. Overall it was not the experience we expected compared to other Michelin star Indian restaurants in London. But we would definitely go back to have that black cod from ala carte menu.

It's a city where the cuisine is often separated to highlight specific regions of the country. Quilon is focused on the southern coastal foods of India, bringing a sharp contrast to some of the more common dishes in the Western World. Things to expect: bold chutneys, mango curries, fresh fish and plentiful heat. The wine list is spectacular, with extremely reasonable prices relative to retail. It is a true journey of senses throughout and the team is incredibly attentive to help guests pick out the right dishes. The design of the establishment is very contemporary and to say simply, is beautiful. This may be one of the best and most interesting Indian meals that money can buy.

A friend of the chef organized this dinner for us, and like many other fancy Indian restaurants, they do have a rather silly children policy, but thanks to our host, an exception was made for us. Kutir's experience begins with it's thoughtful setup. You are indeed welcomed in a home with pretty compact seating. Their rooftop seating is really inviting, but we could not seat there because the restaurant wasn't as busy on a Sunday evening. Aarav, our server made food recommendations which included a brilliantly tasty serving of Crab ~ Pepper Fry (£14), Lamb ~ Black Cumin (£24), Jheenga ~ Moilee (£26), and a Bread ~ Basket (£12). Our little one enjoyed the Double Tadka ~ Dal (£8) with some Steamed ~ Rice (£5). The Crab and Jheenga were absolutely spectacular. Desserts were on the okay-ish end and included Chocolate ~ Peanut (£10), and Cassata ~ Rose (£9) which had a very grainy texture. Aarav was very attentive, and friendly towards our little one. Very very good service. Noise levels were on the lower end, and it was easy to have a quiet conversation when we weren't eating all the delicious food! Highly recommend this place for an absolute unique take on Indian food!
