Such good Indian food just moments from Euston. Small and not a lot of indoor seating but they didn't mind squeezing me in as a solo diner without a reservation. Food was delicious. Well seasoned and tasty hot. Incredible chutneys and the BIGGEST G&T I've ever had!

BEST INDIAN FOOD of my life! We knew we wanted to try the best London had to offer. We did research, looked at menus and reviews and found the authentic Indian we were looking for. From start to finish, it was a silent meal filled with "ohhs" and "ahhs" and "oh my god this is so good." Service was also incredible and fast. We walked in around 6 as it was filling up. It is a small place so make reservations! We had the chicken tikka, paneer, samosas and onion bhaji. All were 10/10. Make sure to get the garlic naan and eat with a spoon. We barely touched our rice. I can't stress enough how wonderful of a meal it was. It's also easy to take a stroll down to kings cross station to catch a taxi back home/hotel. Cheers!!!

Great spot! We started with mango lassi which was delicious, then ordered the railway chicken curry, Kerala shrimp curry, and chili garlic naan. We did have to pay for white rice for each curry as well. Everything was good and the service was great as well. We finished the meal with gulab jamun for dessert. Overall a great experience and good food!

The food here was simply fantastic! We got there when the restaurant was closing and the owner was so kind and let us order still even though it was packed. The waitress was beyond attentive, made recommendations and didn't make us feel rushed. Everyone raves about Dishoom being the best but honestly I don't even think it comes close to this place in flavors and authenticity!

This place just near our hotel around the corner & food was awesome

Excellent service, fast and attentive. We didn't have a reservation and we were able to get seated right away. The food were so good. Right portion and reasonably priced. We got mango lassi, garlic chili nan, raise curry chicken and Bombay chicken curry plus cumin rice. We also ordered the peshawari nan, which was nice and warm but a bit too sweet for my taste, but the owner did warn me it was a sweet nan. Some people might like it.

Service was quick and easy. We sat outside and our server moved two tables together to accommodate us. We enjoyed people-watching while we snacked on papadums and chutneys. My party and I shared the Railway Chicken Curry, Prawn Curry, and a few other dishes I can't quite remember (we're on a whirlwind tour of England and we've eaten tons of Indian food so far). If you're anywhere near King's Cross / St. Pancras, it's a must-visit.

I was really hungry but walked around until I found a place with good reviews. It was an odd late-afternoon time, and there was a large party feasting when I arrived. It was comfortable inside and the server was quick to bring me tea and samosas with lots of yummy sauce options The entree was fabulous - piping hot and beautiful. The entree did not come with rice which surprised several other clients but I figured it saved me empty carbohydrate calories (white rice is evil).

Amazing curry and good service! Close to our hotel in perfect location! Dining area was small but felt like I was in India.

This restaurant was close to my hotel, and they took reservations since my friends and I weren't sure if it was busy or not. When we got to the restaurant, we were seated promptly. This is a cuisine I was not as familiar with. But the dishes I had were quite tasty and good portions. It wasn't as loud as i feared was what happened in my last Indian restaurant. I definitely say that if you wanted good eats in an intimate setting.

We were so hungry (& so happy) that we have 1 picture. You will feel so welcome here!

We showed to Yatri 30 minutes before close. The restaurant was packed, the 6 of us were staying down the street. The team was so thoughtful, so open to having us, created a table, wanted to serve all of us and we had such a wonderful experience. The meal, the people, the energy and the family hospitality was so good: we had take out the next night!

We just randomly ordered a few things because he made us so uncomfortable. Food- the paneer and spinach croquettes were tasty but could have used some salt. The chicken biryani was so damn hot. We asked him in advance how spicy it was and he gave us a noncommittal not too spicy and well it was. We had to order another raita just to eat it. The daal was interesting. It had too many vegetables for my taste. The man brought out a dish we had not ordered on accident. Because we had no explanation of the items we didn't even realize it. We were mid dishing it out when he came over and asked if we wanted to keep it since we didn't order it and then ended up just grabbing it since we didn't order it. Weird and bad service.

For starters, we had the prawns and veggie samosas. Prawns were good and my family enjoyed the veggie samosas. Please not there are only 2 to an order. The black lentils were good but the full flavor wasn't there and it wasn't as creamy as I've had in the past. The best ones I've had were in Thailand, but this didn't even come close. For both the lentils and the biryani, we had to add salt to try to enhance the flavor. We decides to give dessert a try and it was just okay. Initially we planned on order the gulag jamun, but it came with Cornish (vanilla) ice cream and I wanted pistachio. They were very inflexible and would not swipe out the ice cream even though they physically have to put the vanilla scoops on top. Overall, we wouldn't be back here. The quality of food is mediocre at best and hospitality could use a facelift.

Upon entering, your eye is immediately drawn to the myriad movie posters on the walls and to the lively Indian music videos playing on TV. I especially liked the many murals that dot the restaurant. For our party of 6, we ordered a variety of dishes to share along with 3 cocktails and a beer for the adults. All Of the cocktails were refreshing, tasty and were made with fresh fruit and/or herbs. Of the 3 cocktails we sampled, we liked the Ginger Refresh the best. The Elderflower & Strawberry Refresh and Mango Mojito were just as delicious. The Mojito uses fresh mango purée so be sure to stir well to incorporate the fruity yumminess! Let's talk about what we ate! Although the portion sizes are small to medium size, we felt that the 9 dishes we chose were satisfying for our party of 6. Everything we tried was delicious. Some of the stand out dishes were: tandoori paneer, chana, lamb biryani, spicy butter chicken and kurkuri bhindi.

The food was exceptional -- aroma, flavors, spice levels, portions; everything was perfect. While visiting London, a local friend invited me to Dishoom, knowing how much I love Indian cuisine. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 5PM, and the place was already packed. They don't take reservations for dinner unless you're a large group, but trust me, the wait is worth it. They have a fantastic bar where you can grab drinks while you wait for a table (they give you buzzers). I tried the Negroni and another tequila-based cocktail (sadly I can't remember the name), and both were phenomenal. Shared plates are definitely the way to go at Dishoom. We ordered the gunpowder potatoes (incredible), an appetizer with potatoes and pineapple (not my favorite; the pineapple threw me off), monkfish curry (amazing), and chicken curry. It was a lot of food for just two of us, but I couldn't stop eating. I seriously wanted to bottle up that sauce! The service was surprisingly impeccable, especially considering how busy they were. We ended up spending about £110 for an incredible dinner, and we nearly couldn't finish everything. Lastly, the ambiance! Inspired by Iranian cafes in India, the atmosphere at Dishoom is eclectic. I loved the dim lighting, unique decor, and the lively pace of the restaurant. Just go!

The restaurant's wall was decorated with various historical photographs, and right above our table was a photo of Vancouver, titled "Well-dressed Sikhs walking along the street in Vancouver, Canada c. 1908." Although over 100 years ago, I immediately recognized the location -- the corner of Granville and Hastings. How coincidental is that, to be thousands of miles away from home in a different continent, and to come across a photograph of the very street corner I cross multiple times a week! I don't recall what my husband had (a chicken dish), but I had Acharri Murgha ("chicken curry cooked in a traditional pickling spice mix") and it was delicious! Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal -- it was a taste of home! I also had a couple of glasses of wine, but each glass was 250ml, so I was pretty tipsy. In the washroom, a woman, another tourist, started conversing with me, but she only spoke French, and despite being drunk and rarely speaking French, I was able to have a semi-coherent conversation (she was also a bit tipsy).
