It's definitely a backup nem spot when you can't get into brodard. I got the pork rolls and they were decent, definitely not better than brodard but got the job done, they serve you with the warm sauce which was good but the pork itself a bit dry. I also got the summer rolls which had too much lettuce and not enough jicama, can skip this. Service was whatever but interior can be cleaner lol. And parking definitely horrible here so come prepared.

A nice quick service alternative to Brodards! I find this place easier if you don't want to call in advance, as I've never waiting for than 5 min for smaller orders (up to 6 rolls). Though recently they set a minimum of $20 for card payments, which makes it tough if you don't have cash for a small order. They also had a special and threw in a bao which they are promoting now. Overall, the nem nuong rolls are slightly cheaper than Brodards but they can be a little skimpy on the fillings - maybe not enough lettuce or maybe the nem nuong shape (flat) makes the roll feel less full. Still hits the spot in a pinch.

It's also a small store front you walk up and order and the menu is on TV screens kind of hard to read since there is a glare from the window. Cash is recommended as you will get a 5% discount on your order. I got 3 nem cuon and 3 bo bia. The order came out quickly in less than 5 minutes. The nem cuon was good and the dipping sauce was still warm. However I still prefer Brodards rolls better. The Bo bia was terrible. They added little shrimps into and I was not expecting that I have never had Bo bia with shrimp in it. It made me nauseous. There wasn't lot of filling either this fell very short in my books I would skip the Bo bia. If you're in the area, can find parking, have cash, and are craving nem cuon, try it. Other than that I would say skip it.

We ended up ordering a party tray which was 20 pieces of the nem for $45. We ordered there and it came out incredibly quick. They said to wait 5-10 mins. Parking can be rough because it's a corner plaza with a small lot shared with multiple businesses.
I ordered 28 rolls. Normally, I get 1 mini cup of sauce for every 4 rolls, so for 28 rolls I expected 7 mini cups. I only received 6, and when I asked for a couple more since 8 of us were sharing, I was told that because I already had big containers of sauce, the maximum is 6 . The food is really good (8/10), but this experience makes me less likely to come back.
After coming back to the shop after some time, I felt that the spring rolls were no longer as good as before. They were very dry and hard, and the sauce was watery. The spring rolls were already cold right after I received my order. The staff looked very tired and not very cheerful.

It comes out wrapped individually, the portion size is a bit smaller then a some spots I go to. I have mixed feelings and wouldn't say it's bad but it's not amazing. The dipping sauce is clean and warm. I would say check it out and give it a shot.
I'm sorry but this is the worst rolls I've ever had. Starting with the peanut sauce that tasted nothing like peanut. The sauce is a very sweet tamarind sauce. Spring rolls have too much noodle and bean sprouts. I had to pick out the noodle and bean sprouts. The sauce was unbearable. I dont know how they couldn't even get the basic sauce right. Dont listen to the online hype, go to Brodard or any Viet restaurant
Nem nuong cuon has a very special place in my heart. Unfortunately it's not always good. But NEM? NEM did it just the way I like it. This place is a take-out only spot. Ambiance is appropriate for that kind of operation. They pump out Nem Nuong like clockwork. I got the party platter, which had 20 pieces. Perfect amount. They also give you a whole tub of Nha Trang sauce. Perfection. I called ahead and the lady on the phone was prompt, clear, and had excellent customer service skills. I asked for 20 pieces and she had them done in 15 minutes. My girlfriend and I couldn't contain ourselves. We got into the tray and finished half before getting the the party, blasting Sublime We took a trip to Garden Grove. Smelled like Lou Dog inside the van
Nem Nướng rolls and bánh bao were both solid. The rolls came out fresh with that classic grilled pork flavor, and the bánh bao were fluffy and filling. The creamy nem nướng sauce is the real reason to come, it's warm, rich, and a little savory-sweet, with a smooth, almost velvety texture that clings to the pork instead of just sitting on the side. As much as I enjoyed the goi cuon rolls themselves, the peanut sauce was way too sweet and barely tasted like peanut at all. Still a good backup when Brodard's wait is too long. read more

I usually order my nem nướng from Brodard Chateau because that's the flavor I'm used to and it's also more convenient for me. This time, I needed a large order for a party, but Brodard told me the wait would be a few hours since they were so busy. Since I needed the food sooner, I decided to try this place instead. For me, it just didn't quite live up to what I was expecting. The price was lower, but the nem nướng wasn't as good as what I'm used to. The restaurant is in a small plaza, and parking was difficult. When I arrived, it was packed, so I ended up parking on a nearby side street and walking over. The staff wasn't rude, but they didn't seem particularly friendly either. read more

Came on a Wednesday at 5pm. Not busy at all so I was able to place my to go order quickly. Went with the nem nuong rolls, chao tom rolls, basil chicken wings, and the garlic fries. Order was prepared pretty fast so rushed home to enjoy the meal because it smelled awesome. In my opinion, the rolls were on par with another popular roll place. Almost exact copies except for the dipping sauce. Wings and fries were not bad either, but the rolls were my favorite. Would consider coming back. read more

This place is definitely a great alternative to Brodard spring rolls if you're craving nem nuong cuon. The sauce is very similar to Brodards. The rolls are very tasty and satisfying. 5 percent discount if you pay with cash. Parking lot sucks. Please don't eat the plastic wrap!! Each individual roll is wrapped with a small piece of plastic to keep them from sticking together. They even have signs in the store to remind you of this! read more

I came during my lunch break, this place is very similar to brodard but the dipping sauce is a a little different. It's missing something, i just can't put my finger on it. Love that the piece of pork was big and how fast it came out. Great service and good quality food! read more

We wanted to grab a quick snack to have on our drive back down to San Diego, and saw Nem was closeby. I'll never say no to Spring Rolls, so we decided to give it a try! - PARKING - Very small parking lot that seems to always be packed, and there's also quite a lot of homeless surrounding the business fronts and sidewalks. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Definitely a grab and go type of restaurant, as there isn't any seating available. Menu is simple enough that you tell them what you want and they'll package it for you within 5 minutes. - FOOD - Nem Nuong (3pcs - $6.60): If you're eating it without any comparison to other restaurants, I felt like this was pretty good! Many places have increased their prices, so this honestly wasn't too bad in my eyes. Now if you compare it to another popular spot that also does Nem Nuong... I'd still go to that original business over NEM. Still, the rolls were tasty and filled my craving. - OVERALL - If you're looking for a spot to have a quick grab-and-go type of snack/meal, NEM is a great option. I would just be prepared to have a passenger hop out if there's no parking available! read more
I saw this fast food caterer many times but was always suspicious but somehow after buying my desserts at Hien Khanh next door I read reviews n said at 4.5 stars how could I go wrong? Well that was a disaster. Trust me it was that bad, where do I begin? The Bo bia was a joke, don't even try, the supposedly egg didn't have a mother!!! Omg it was like a plastic strip, I hope it was not Bill Gates lab meat n even made w 3d printer, not a joke! Lab chicken already sold next to beyond meat, better check what you are buying, this was plastic egg not lab chicken so my guess is that it was made w powdered eggs but my point was it was fake n had zero taste, the roll was stuffed w so much veggies not enough herbs or sausage, the hoisin sauce was ok. The nem nuong taste was not bad but the sauce was so fake, funny yellow artificial color what in the world was that? I ate them w the hoisin sauce as I ditched the Bo bia. They wrapped so tight w Saran Wrap it was hard to break it open, I almost ate it had I not seen the sign warning us to remove the Saran. What a waste of money I miss the real nem nuong I just had in Saigon grilled on real charcoal briquettes. read more
This is a pretty decent nem cuon place. We got a tray of 40 for $93! The nem was pretty tasty and the portion of veggies is on point. I would get another tray again for parties. The parking might be a small area, but people come in and out all the time, so just have to wait! read more
So this little establishment saved the day for me yesterday. My brother was celebrating his bday and I needed a last minute food idea for 15 people. I called early in the morning as other places weren't even opened. Placed my order for 25 nem cuon and they allowed me to schedule a p/u time. When I arrived, I was greeted right away and got service with a smile from the worker. I knew the food was going to be good from this point. Also, pay with cash, they give a small discount. They have some Vietnamese herb on it. But you can tell us what you don’t want. We can make it for you.
Do they have vegetarian options?
