I got the nem cuốn and the cay (spicy) fries -- the fries were fresh and tasty, and the nem cuốn was pretty decent. I have never seen her before but if the owner could see the review, these are several points to improve: store is empty so there's no need to rush, keep the friendly services as it has always been, watch the tone of voice when talking to customers (I come to pay for foods and services not to ask for free foods), store does not accept certain credit cards that's already inconvenient for customers therefore staff does NOT need to reinforce with the heavy voice to make it more difficult for customers. It was expensive compare to other places $52 for 22 unlike what is posted a year ago as $45 and they make you buy 22 rolls instead of 20 in the trays now . The food is severely lacking. They skimp on the shrimp and pork which is both thin as a paper and very dry! The rolls look plump and aesthetically pleasing because they fill it up with a ton of lettuce and bean sprouts. It didn't even have cucumbers or mint I think. The sauce was just hoisen sauce . Typically it's a mix of peanut , hoisen , some kind of acidity but this is severely lacking . We waited about 10-15 minutes for our order but it was fresh. I loved the crispy wonton in it and fresh veggies. I didn't try the sauce but my hubby did and he said it was ok. I like the more darker brown sauce that my friend used to make. At the moment since they are new they are offering free iced tea with every order. To start, this store in inside a busy plaza with a free parking lot. This is a small little store. They do rolls starting at 3 pieces; you can also order large quantities. I got Bo Bia and Nem. The Bo was definitely a bigger roll; Nem was skinnier - not sure if there's supposed to be discrepancy between flavors. But 10/10 - GREAT taste and sauce and good prices at the end of the day. However I tried their Bo bia and they lost a star for that because it was not a good bo bia roll I don't recommend their Bo bia roll. Simple dishes executed well. This is the 2nd location for Nem. Nowadays there are not many places specializing in Nem Nuong Cuon- you have Brodards, Nem, and Summer Rolls up in the San Gabriel area. I think the rolls for Nem and Summer Rolls are actually better than Brodards, with a cheaper cost. The roll I ordered had good ratio of meat to filling and the egg roll wrap was crispy.
