I had a very frustrating experience while processing my children's passport applications. The…read moreemployee who handled our case was rude, dismissive, and failed to provide the correct required form (DS-5525). Instead, she simply told me to write a letter explaining my circumstances. A whole month later, the passport processing center contacted me and informed me that I actually needed to complete the DS-5525 form -- the same form the office should have provided from the beginning. Because of this mistake, the U.S. Passport Department had to email me the form directly, and now I have to fill it out, sign it, and mail it back myself, causing unnecessary delays and stress. This entire situation could have been avoided if the employee had properly informed me of the requirements in the first place. Very disappointing service and a huge waste of time.

Staff attitude ranges from perfunctory to brusque. It seems clear no amount of one-star ratings will change that, despite rote replies from the business. For me, the advantages of this UPS location are its proximity and that it opens 30 minutes before most other branches nearby. I come here when I require only the simplest of tasks--bringing in a pre-labeled, properly taped-up package to be scanned and shipped. For anything more complex or requiring more staff assistance, I go elsewhere, usually the location on Colorado next to Vons. Note that this branch is a smaller one and only has a front door, which both customers and UPS trucks use to load/unload. As such, after scanning, you are required to place your package in the customer area, and I've always had to do this on my own, no matter the weight or number of items. The trucks load the packages from here. There is no back area where staff takes and stores your package like at other branches. Treat yourself to a smoothie next door after your efforts.

I expect FedEx employees to treat customers with basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect, especially when a customer explains that they need to assist their disabled spouse. I am requesting that management review what happened, speak with the employees involved, and address how customers with disabilities and their spouses or caregivers are treated at this location. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for basic respect, professionalism, and appropriate customer service. The pick up hours on the DHL emails says they close at 4:30 PM but they were actually still open when I arrived at around 4:45 PM. The lady that helped me was so nice and patient. I read her my tracking number as she typed it into a tablet. She then checked my ID to verify and I was on my way with my package. The whole experience was very seamless and easy. DHL always requires signature so I think I will opt to have my packages delivered to this locker location more often. Service was impeccable and I would definitely come back for any postal services. Shipping prices/stamps are also very reasonable. I think they also do notary here which is a plus. This location has a small parking lot attached but it was pretty empty when I came. At first, he was very stern, dismissive, and rude, making me feel so uncomfortable that I almost left without dropping off my Mother's important shipment. I tried making small talk to ease the tension. While he was diligent with his work the entire time, it took about 30 minutes for him to come down. I extended my hand at the end to shake his hand, and he did shake it, softening up in those final 10 minutes. I just wish the pleasant attitude from the end was what he showed from the very beginning. I'm sharing this so future customers know that while Nick's exterior might seem rude at first, he is thorough and diligent at his job-just don't expect over-the-top customer service right away. If Nick reads this, I hope he takes it as constructive feedback to improve his approach with customers from the start.
