Ned's it a typical Irish bar but with good seafood. The staff is pretty friendly and it's a good place to watch a game. Most things on the menu are pretty good but there are a lot of fried options. The salads are pretty good with interesting dressings. I just recently had the salmon salad with a spicy yellow dressing, it was very good. On the down side Ned's lighting is not the best and lots of things inside are old. Bathrooms are normally not the cleanest. Good place for a quick lunch, happy hour, or watching games. read more

I work across the street, and this is the go-to when my coworkers and I want to have a pint at lunch. The beer selection is pretty good and the food hits the spot. The hostess is sassy since we're regulars and she knows she can get away with it, which adds to the charm. Really, the only complaint I have is that we come here so often that I wish the menu was more varied, and that's not much of a complaint, is it? Decent food, decent service, decent beer menu, decent prices... I'm getting exactly the experience I'd expect and I'm sure it'll continue. read more

First and last time in this place. DO NOT GO HERE. No sense of urgency.. employees here could care less about you. They go through the motions. Arrived at 7:09.. walked in.. sat at the bar.. took a few minutes but got a beer. I was ready to order food.. after being ignored for a few more minutes I finally got the attention of a bartender. I very politely said hey when you get a chance can I order some food please. She's said yea just give me a second. Now at this time ... people that say around me that got there after me already were ordering drink and food and I was still ignored. So right at 7:38 I decided to leave. Asked for my check and even that took some time .. the bartender clear saw I wasn't happy and even knew the situation.. did she try and find a solution to the issue ?? No straight up just said okay.. hey not her bar... paid my $7 tab .. no tip..and I walked out at around 7:43. I was so displeased with this place.. I left almost a full beer. I don't know if it's a lack of motivation or situational awareness at this place but I wasn't impressed whatsoever. Maybe bad leadership/management. I've been to this spot a few times and I must say their stake burger is one of the best burgers I've had! Aside from that the other food was meh. I highly suggest stopping by on St Patty's Day. Decent happy hour spot, but not great. Fun for theme days (St. Patrick's day, Cinco de Mayo etc) The food is OK for bar food, but that's about it. I have no idea who would call it "good". I've been going to Ned's for years. When I first started going there the food was just "okay." But I have to say, they have made a concerted effort to step their game up and offer a lot more good items. Four stars is probably generous, but I like the effort they make to try new things. I first heard about Ned's from a few locals and they raved this place so I decided to check it out. I was very disappointed with this Pub, the food was gross and soggy. My boyfriend had their chicken wings which were not cooked all the way and cold on the inside. Their pretzel with beer sauce was disgusting. Had the fish n' chips and that fish was soggy too. I never went back. So many other better choices for Irish food in the area. If you are only looking to have a drink this place is for you. read more

Came here with family celebrating my uncles birthday, it was across the street and they wanted drinks so why not. We were trying to watch the Real Madrid game and the manager accommodated us in the back with a huge TV to show it. Took all the drink orders then came back for food. All good so far I ordered the cut of the week which was okay a nice size ny strip which tasted a little dry some carrots and broccoli which I wish they were more crisper and some fries which look fine and golden on the outside but hard on the inside. Everyone else seemed satisfied with their food though some steak and cheeses and ribeye sandwhich which they all thought was good. Ordered carry-out, and they were quick and polite. The chicken tenders and fries combo is super yummy; the tenders are obviously made in-house from scratch and not frozen from a bag. I used to go to the Ned Devine's in Centreville and had heard mixed reviews about this location. I only stopped in for a few beers on a Saturday night and caught a live band. There isn't really anything that I noticed that would make Ned's stand out from going to any other bars in the area. Terrible service at the bar. Bartenders should be replaced. Completely ignoring customers, lack of offering of menus and/or food. Could barely get a drink. It was like I was bothering them by ordering drinks. Never once did they ask me if I wanted food and their salesmanship and courtesy is below what McDonalds would offer. I just wish corporate would train their bartenders as well as their wait staff. You are better off being at a table and ordering drinks versus being at the bar. These bartenders are too busy hanging out with themselves than helping customers or selling food or drinks. It's pretty sad because this place is a great hangout and entertainment but the bartenders can ruin that experience by not taking care of the patrons at the bar. It's not crowded or busy at the bar. I went here with some colleagues for a work event. Our group was constantly growing and shrinking as people. The our server was great. She was able to keep the tabs organized and bring drinks quickly. The food was nothing amazing but decent pub food. They had a really lively trivia game night/irish singer guy. Worst place, don't waste your time!! I looked over the menu and asked for the first item "sorry we don't have that", asked to order my next choice "sorry we don't have that either" and the same answer for the 3rd choice and finally my 4th choice! If I wasn't hear with someone else I would have walked out the door!!!! Instead settled for a snack of Spinach and Artichoke dip that was NOT made here and obvious it was just heated up from the freezer. One of of the worst experiences in terms of waiting. You can go here if you are OK with 25-min wait after you are seated for the waiter to show up, one order of drinks taking over an hour (same for an appetizer), and not getting a follow up order ( mind you appetizer only) for up to 40 minutes. I couldn't help but ask for the manager and his explanation was they had more than one 30+ parties, I was speechless. He was nice enough to offer to not charge for the appetizers but I want him to know that people go to a restaurant expecting good service, good food, and good ambiance rather than expecting a discount on their check! I am in the neighborhood and this was our first visit. Needless to say my wife and I are thoroughly disappointed and it was our last visit too considering the quality of the food and the service we received. Disappointed. We booked an event here that started at 7pm. We had guests that showed up at 6:45 - it took us 20 minutes to get a server. At that time we were told that we couldn't order from happy hour because our event started at 7pm. The owner himself told us that we didn't qualify due to the event time.
