Before leaving town, we decided to have dinner, and that is where Farm comes in. We decided to go with the recommendation of the staff up front and the waiter, choosing the Anthology menu for dinner. That selection was impossible to be disappointed with. The food is sourced locally, the taste is exceptional, and the service (shout-out to Justin) is outstanding. We just planned a return visit to Bluffton for May. This is what a low-country dining experience should be.

Portion sizes of each course were just right, not too big, not to small. It is a decent amount of food overall, so come hungry. Prices were on par with other fine dining restaurants. Service was excellent. We appreciated that they were quick to clear our dishes and keep our water glasses filled. Since their menu changes frequently, I won't go into detail about the food, other than to say everything was well-presented and delicious.

I certainly didn't want to be coughing loudly during our meal and causing discomfort to other patrons. If we had gone to dinner, I'll sure the manager would have asked us to leave. I called to cancel and was told I would be charged $100 for the party of four, even though I was coughing on the call and told the lady I was planning to see my doctor this afternoon. "Sorry, no exceptions" I was told. Now I will be certain to tell many people as possible about their inflexible policy even when severe sickness is involved.

Again, food was good but prices are off, signage needs improved, atmosphere needs lil more light n staff needs training to be on point... esp if you're going to be an expensive restaurant.

What I don't know is whether they have changed their toast for all locations and reduced the amount of avocado or was this a fluke or only typical of the Bluffton location. We will go back to the port royal location sometime this week because now I need to know! Oh and we tried the roasted potatoes which I have never tried before. The flavors/herbs were good but the potatoes were not cooked fresh so they were soft/chewy.
