Came here this past Saturday night and it could have definitely been better. A few bad apple bartenders that just killed the vibe. We were happy to see this as a bar for late 20's to early 30's+ (wassup to my fellow 80's and 90's babies lol) First off, the black short-haired lady who had the waitlist line was pretty disorganized. Our party of 4 was pretty super kind and patient. After about 45 mins of waiting, she told us that the previous list had gotten messed up and said we were next but asked us to go chill at the wine bar that was connected. Very cool vibe and highly recommend it next door! -- So, to our surprise , after being so easy going, she led us to the bar seats where we couldn't interact after specifically waiting for a table. We saw a table open about 10 mins after sitting down and asked the same lady if we could take it. She told us because we sat down already at the bar, that there were rules on switching. (WTF?!) Lol. The same party who sat next to us at the wine bar got seated next to that empty table....SO. I've been on an espresso martini kick lately, so I ordered the White Russian Christmas (vodka, cold brew coffee, condensed milk, ancho chile liquer, and cinnamon syrup). This place is so fun! We came in on a Saturday evening, no res, in October so that's why the Halloween decor. All the staff was in costume too. The drinks were LEGIT! I highly recommend any of their drinks with the . It's a show..and so yummy. Their happy drink changes but it's a good deal. The bartenders and servers were so fun and pleasant. I already liked Navy Strength before but now I love that they are doing a pop up called Sippin Santa for December! They have decorated the bar with Christmas everywhere and have the cutest and most delicious themed cocktails. My favorite was the Sippin Santa and it came in a surfing Santa mug. All the staff are wearing festive gear as well so it just adds to the experience. I highly recommend you come in just for a festive drink. If you want to do a Christmas bar hop then you should also walk a block away to Rob Roy for their Miracle on 2nd Street pop up as well. read more

Because the spam musubi was only just half a slice of spam lol. The Saturn cocktail was good though. The couch we were on was sagging so there's not much comfort to have your drinks. 3.5 stars I came here on a Thursday night and it was pretty much empty except a couple of people at the bar. There is a long bar area with tables all around and the entire place is pretty spacious. This place is a tiki bar but it doesn't have the same tiki bar feel that I've had at other bars. I feel like it doesn't go all out in giving that tiki bar experience and could do more in terms of decor and interior. However as long as the drinks are good that's all that matters, and their drink selection is pretty large which is nice. My first drink was the maghrebi mint sour ($13) which was light and refreshing. It was sweet but not too sweet. My second drink was the navy strength cocktail ($13) which was pretty much the opposite of the mint sour. It was strong and on the bitter side if you're a fan of those. Overall this is a bar I'd come back to if I was in the area. The service was a little slow because there was only one person. What wasn't to love about this place? We really wanted to go to their Christmas bar last year but I caught a winter cold. So excited to find out a week ago they do a Halloween one too! We tried a ton of different options. We shared the chicken nachos which were excellent! We also had two of their buns, the spam and chicken ones. Small but mighty they were delicious! I had the poke bowl which also tasted fresh and filling. Would recommend eating beforehand if you're starving unless you want to order as much as we did, we were satisfied after. On to the drinks! We tried a few of the Halloween drinks, all of which were yummy. "Seekers of the Serpent's Eye", "Telekentic Energy", "Happy Camper, "Amity Island", "The Candyman", and "Beach Scene" were all the ones we tried! I was extremely interested in trying the 1934 Zombie but maybe next time! My favorite was the Amity Island, but all of them were fabulous. 3 of them come with the flames so make sure to ask which ones if you want that! There was a short line to get in so come prepared to stand in the cold just in case! The staff was extremely kind and our waiter Sinaj (hopefully I spelled that right!!!) was amazing all night. They do a 20% gratuity charge but he deserves it 1000% so don't make this the reason you don't go. The ambiance and decorations they have can't be beat. We can't wait until they change into the Christmas bar to see what that one is like. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to others! Decided to come and check out this spot since Im always in the mood for the forbidden island vibe. Upon my arrival there is a sign that you have to wait to be seated. Honestly, pretty nice bar for what it's trying to be. Holiday theming was good, staff was nice and dressed in holiday costumes, lots of festive drinks. Vibes were chill but fun. No crazy wait. Prices for the drinks were a little ridiculous but they also looked pretty large so maybe it's a value for quantity thing. This place is so fun and the drinks are great! The three of us came here on a random Wednesday night and shut down the tiki bar (they close at 12am). We had about 2 drinks each and the menu theme was Morocco. I had the mezcal-based cocktail which was very nice, not too smokey nor sweet. Gin isn't my favorite but the taste comes together quite nicely with the melon and shiso. Viva Macunaíma was like drinking an acaí smoothie from Jamba Juice except with alc-y-hol. (Sweet, cold, what else can you ask for? Its an yummy adult juice) Gnarly Disposition was.. well. Quite gnarly ha! I forget mezcal is not for me but oh man is that a strong shot. I tried to get in here a couple months ago but the wait was too long. Super popular spot especially on a weekend night. Plan accordingly. I came by myself the next time. The hostess quickly found a solo spot at the bar. I sat between two lively groups there. Ordered the Sippin' Santa, Chicken Steam Bun and a Musubi Steam Bun. Loved the buns though they're not really buns. Same rice dough in a folded taco format. Small but very tasty. Loved the Sippin' Santa. A larger drink you can enjoy for a good while. One of the best cocktail bars in Seattle. I love a good tiki drink and their ever changing menu always has something delicious (and of course, full of rum). Drinks are pricey (average $15/each) but totally worth it in my opinion. You're going to get fresh juices, unique/hard to find spirits and all around a great drink. During COVID times they have opened up some outdoor seating and inside they are keeping everyone super socially distant. We both decided to start with the happy hour punch which was basically a glass loaded with crushed iced and about a shot glass full of actual drink. After that I asked for something with more liquid in it and they brought me a mai tai. So three of the happy hour punches, two mai ties, an ahi tuna bite, which was literally the size of a triscut, a plate of Velveeta nachos and a spam hum bao added up to $100 with their 20% service fee. We went in with a group of 12 on a busy night so we got seated after 1.5 hours which is understandable. However, the way the hostess treated us was one of the worst customer service I've ever had that I feel obligated to leave a review. We ordered one round of drinks and paid our bill as we weren't impressed by the seasonal drinks. Most of us quickly finished what we had ordered so we could try another bar. However, 4 of us weren't done with our drinks so we stayed behind to finish them. The rest of us were quickly trying to finish our drinks since most of our friends already left, but after less than 5 minutes, the hostess tells us that we need to leave. I try explain to her that we're just finishing our drinks and that we'll leave soon, but she kept insisting that we leave. She then seats another party at our long stand table. We were okay with that but we didn't understand why she had to pressure us to leave. I understand it's a busy night and you want to clear the tables for more guests.
