Sliders, Need a Refresher

This may be the worst dining experience I have ever had. The wood was abysmal. The bums crunched the wings were so dried we didn't eat them, and the chicken sandwich wasn't edible. The cocktails, were bad - like cup of water bad. To note our initial server was good - attentive and polite. We did get dirty silver wear and dirty napkins. This isn't my first time at this hotel but I will not be back to the restaurant bar as it was criminal.

Ok yawl it's been a minute but DA SPOON is in travels again to Seattle. The W Living room was slow because it was 5pm. Not much going on, but just looking for somewhere to just chill....... All in all that's what it was. The place is setup for a dj, and some nightlife music. The bartender.....excellent. I got wine...not a big selection on the choice glass reds but with the bartenders help there was a selection made. I do not name the wines for they tend to change. Let's just say rely on the bartenders experience on your mood for wines. The Living room was small unlike the 'the view' in San Francisco that has excellent space to venture around in. 1-10.... 6. I will return hopefully in the nightlife schedule to better access the W Living room bar. Off to the next spot.

I forgot the name but it was a Strawberry cocktail and the Mango Lemonade cocktail

This seemed to be a slow Friday night in October but it was near our hotel and the pictures made it look cool. The bartender was friendly and patient and the review mostly speaks to that. The mango lemonade cocktail felt a little silly but was so good. My drink was meant to be strawberry and mostly just tasted like lime and entirely yellow, so I'm not sure I got what I ordered but it was good nonetheless. We also got an oatmeal cookie dessert that was really good. It had apples and peanuts with caramel that were the best part of it. The ambiance wasn't bad, but it wasn't as the pictures show. My guess is because it was so slow or they didn't have a band that they didn't turn on the colorful lights. It was mostly dark with a fireplace and very low to the ground seating. Ideal if you're in the area and want a low frills evening.

The Living Room Bar had an amazing ambiance. Everything was DELICIOUS & I'm crossing my fingers these special AAPI menu items stay on the permanent menu. The ginger drop & cherry blossom cocktails were superb. The cherry blossom was my absolute favorite! It was sweet, light, & fragrant without the overwhelming alcohol flavor. We started off with the crispiest coconut shrimp that came with a sweet banana chutney. I could probably eat 20 of them because they were so good! I also really enjoyed the ahi poke bombs, kimchi fried rice (it had sautéed eggplant & topped with a fried egg) My favorite dishes were the crispy pork belly sliders because they were tender yet crispy. I also loved the grilled salmon because it was cooked to perfection. The loco moco was my all time favorite: it had sautéed greens, kimchi, charred patty, mushrooms & a sweet gravy which was nicely paired with the crispy fried eggs. You NEED to make your way over to The Living Room Bar to not only try these delicious items, but also support a wonderful cause during AAPI month! IG: @seattle.grub TikTok: @makena.yee

Food here is decent. Pasta lacks salt but the flat bread and the salmon are definitely a must. Bar service is good. The 2 male bartenders are amazing have and have great customer service. The female bartender is not friendly, doesn't smile or talk to you and drinks are not good I would definitely avoid her.

Stayed here for one night. Had the Poke bombs and Hummus. Hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten.

Service was great as I was quickly led to the bar as soon as I walked in and was quickly greeted by the bartenders. The place has a very fun vibe to it and it was a sight to see all of the bottles and almost elixirs of liquids lining the bar itself. I was recommended two drinks out of the options I had given my bartender. The first was Santiago and saints. It was highly recommended and for good reason. It hit the spot after a humid day and was a refreshing start to my evening. Well balanced, bright, and cucumbery! The second drink I had was the espresso martini and this one was perfectly balanced and creamy! Would definitely come back. The only downside to the place is the price of cocktails. Also insider information I got from locals was to park at the Amazon garage at certain hours which I did for this because it's free during certain hours of the weekdays and weekends.

The bartender next to us was incredibly friendly and offered excellent drink recommendations. The drinks are on the pricier side, but the quality, presentation, and overall atmosphere make it worth a visit if you're in the area. The bar staff were kind, attentive, and helped make for a great experience.

The cocktails here are delicious and balanced with more complexity than you might find at other bars. The one downside of this place is that it's always extremely busy, so you need to make a reservation or you probably won't be able to get a seat. The bartenders here are super knowledgeable and friendly. I love coming here and getting their recommendations on a flight because I know the spirits I'll be trying are esoteric with lots of history. Each unique bottle has history behind when it was selected and where the spirit is coming from. Knowing that history and how it influences the flavors of the spirit is super interesting to me. If you've never been into drinking spirits straight, definitely ask for a recommendation and the bartenders will help you out (Sam specifically knows a bunch about rum). The cocktails are also delicious, most of them are familiar classics with an interesting twist. The Jiminy Cricket, for example, takes a grasshopper and turns it into a spirit forward drink; with a delicious split base of cognac and rum for fruity fermented flavors, branca menta and matcha for the bitter herbal aspects, and creme de cacao to finish off the traditional grasshopper flavors of mint and chocolate.

Towards the end of the cocktail however it got really delicious and you could taste the char and sweetness of the onion infused into the cocktail. It was quite pleasant. Jiminy Cricket: I ordered the Jiminy Cricket next which was their spin on the grasshopper. I'm a sucker for a grasshopper and a matcha latte and this was a really great elevated combination of both! It was super delicious and the creaminess and the matcha paired very nicely with the rum and creme de cacao. This was my favorite drink of the night for sure. Little Pig Punch: I also got the Little Pig Punch which had pandan vanilla iced tea and rye which was also delicious. A great really sneaky cocktail that's sweet a little bitter from the grapefruit. Overall, a really cool vibe and awesome bar concept. I really enjoyed the intimate setting although it would have been nice to chat with the bartenders a little more. The refrigerator is also very pretty. Would recommend and comeback!

Well thank you to staff who decided to keep it open because there were few other places open! Dead Line and the sister bar next door both have a few tables but mostly it's the bar ambience/moody academia. We chose to sit by the door and people watch. I got a cherry cider and it was good! We shared a salad, the steak arepa, and the pork arepa. The salad they had on the menu wasn't updated but they had a summer salad with watermelon and it was refreshing and great! The arepas tasted great but were pretty heavy, I think probably because of the sauce. But there wasn't really any way to avoid the sauce. Even splitting amongst three people it was a lot- I think it was still good to try, I liked the steak more than the pork, but I would've only ordered one in the future. Highly recommend visiting during happy hour from 4-6 pm for 20% off your bill.

It's one of those Seattle spots I can keep coming back to and still feel like I'm having a proper night out. Catch me here with the girls, a Bellafonte Cocktail in one hand and the hummus plate somewhere within reach. That combination has yet to fail me.
