    Lovely Spartina display.

Bottom Line: Clean and well organized with some great brands. The NEX in Annapolis is small as far as Navy Exchanges go but I still really like this store and can easily find many impulse purchases here. This particular exchange relocated to a brand new building almost two years ago and it is still sparkling clean. The store has gifts, clothing, electronics, cosmetics, housewares, beer, booze and gifts. I imagine they have a uniform shop somewhere too. Service in departments like electronics and cosmetics can be very helpful. I like that they carry some great brands like North Face, Bare Minerals, Samsung and Lucky Jeans and of course you can rarely beat the prices.

A must visit if you enjoy authentic Korean food and variety. BeSeTo Food Court in Catonsville has become one of my favorite local spots. Located right next to H Mart on Rolling Road, BeSeTo (short for Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo) occupies the space that used to be the longtime Hanori food court where I had been going for nearly 15 years. The renovation here is massive in the best way. The entire space feels brighter and more modern and the mix of vendors has improved dramatically. The food court is now located upstairs and features five total vendors offering a wide mix of Asian comfort foods. Over the course of a dozen visits I have tried all of them and everything has been fantastic as well as fairly priced. Some of the absolute must tries are the kalguksu with its rich handmade noodles, the sundae which is incredibly hard to find locally, the jajangmyeon and jjambbong duo for when you want to go classic Korean Chinese, and the jokbol when it is available. Portions here are extremely generous, many large enough to share, so it is well worth coming with friends or family. Ordering is very simple. Each vendor has a numbered menu and you can order easily in English if you do not speak Korean. Food comes out fast and always piping hot which makes it a perfect spot for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Downstairs you will find the shopping vendors specializing in Korean home goods. They carry everything from cookware and tabletop items to traditional style furniture and even herbal supplements. Browsing through the aisles genuinely reminded me of the household stores I visited in Seoul and it adds a cultural bonus to the overall experience. Overall, BeSeTo is a gem in Catonsville and a must visit for anyone who loves Korean food or wants to explore a slice of Korean culture. Generous portions, great pricing, and a refreshed space make this an a homerun pick.

It was our first time visiting, and it definitely won't be our last. The customer service was just okay--not rude, but nothing memorable. There's plenty of seating, which is a plus. My cousin also ordered the sweet and sour chicken and said it was fresh, and the sauce was amazing.

I am very disappointed that a variety of colors for the upper part of the cups is apparently no longer offered. The result is that I was forced to order two different styles of cups in order to have ownership identifiable cups.

They sell everything from sundries and snack foods to Navy clothing to even Christmas ornaments. It's kind of like a mini department store combined with a 7 Eleven. Every time I have visited the store, it's been a reunion weekend in the Fall...meaning it's always packed. Midshipmen are shopping here, some bringing families...and lots of Naval Academy alumni can be spotted. The lines appear long, but the cashiers are fast. So the people who are allowed to shop here include: 1. Midshipmen 2. Parents or guardians of current midshipmen 3. active duty military assigned to the Naval Academy & their spouse 4. Naval Academy faculty and their spouse 5. USNA alumni and lifetime members of the USNA Alumni Association 6. Blue & Gold Officers 7. Naval Academy Club members When I asked the cashier about authorized patrons he pointed me to the sign (in the picture attached). But he did caveat that if you are in uniform they don't ask to see an alumni card. Back to the store, it's quite easy to get lost as it is designed kind of like an IKEA where it feels almost maze like. Since most of my visits have been in the fall when it is crowded there is a festive happy feel. The prices of the clothing can appear steep but they are selling high quality brands. Guess since Midshipmen don't have to pay tuition their parents have a little extra disposable income with which to splurge. Last year we went in October too and my husband told our young 19 year old guest...."don't be surprised if you see Roger Staubach shopping here." Sure enough...five minutes after entering the store, there is Roger Staubach. As we were within 10 feet of him, Tim marches right up to him and said, "Roger I enjoyed your show on ESPN!" Our 19 year old friend's jaw dropped! If you are fortunate enough to be authorized to shop here you never know who you might run into!
