Very disappointed in this service. Terrible customer service. I had a family heirloom that needed to picked up in one state, delivered to another state. I paid for it to be delivered to my garage, which cost extra money. The movers who came to pick it up were great, but the rest of the service was terrible. The piece was not packed well - see the photo. Once it got to close to my town, I was told by the receiving company they could not deliver it to my garage and wanted me to come pick it up. I called Navis, and the person who set up the shipping said "interesting. ' Let me know how it turns out.' I tried to figure out how to get the item, but after a week, called Navis back and they talked with the receiving company and finally it was delivered 10 days later. read more

Unethical company. I hired NAVIS to pick-up, pack, & deliver a $1000+ auction item to me that was near them in MN, and deliver to me in Virginia. It arrived poorly packed, terribly damaged, and NAVIS instead of apologizing & offering to fix the situation, instead have so far blamed the 3rd party carrier THEY hired, and have not refunded their $800 shipping fee, nor compensated me for damaging my $1000 item! They picked it up promptly from the antique store. Inexplicably, instead of disassembling the antique 200 pound marble columns into their safely-packed/shipped components, they packed the whole assembly into one CARDBOARD box- 200 lbs! I paid almost $800 and NAVIS did not even build a crate for it! Then they shipped via a third-party carrier (UPS freight). The box arrived with huge holes in it, marble protruding outside the box, and the single UPS driver in a normal truck (not freight) dropped the box on the way to my door! The item is horrendously damaged- a marble corner broken off, & the whole assembly off-center & twisting the the right under the weight of the marble top. You'd expect NAVIS to apologize & make restitution for damaging my item. No, they blame UPS (who I did not hire) & say it is not insured! I paid NAVIS almost $800 to deliver my item to me & their VP, David Meza say, "Unfortunately, damages do happen in the line of transit from time to time." PHOTOS ATTACHED OF NAVIS' POOR PACKING JOB. ***UPDATE: Navis' Tyler Syvonxgay offered me an offensive $50 in compensation for my $1400 loss due to their negligence. *** read more

Beware. Long story short (ish): The owner of the company I work for contacted navis ship to pack and ship out a new printer. The owner had some major personal medical stuff going on with his family and delayed shipping as no one would be there to accept the printer anyways. Once it was handled a week later he called at 10:50 am on a Friday and paid for the delivery and was assured it was being shipped out that day that the shipper hadn't done their pick up and would arrive within 4 business days. So our owner prepped everyone it was coming, added new staff and the day it was supposed to arrive he received a call from navis saying it would be shipped out next day. (WHAT?!) so nonchalant really couldn't have cared less. The owner of my company asked me to call to figure out if it was a mistake and what was going on... instead of an "I'm sorry" I heard several LIES from the owner about when payment was received and blatantly told over and over we were a small job and because we had delayed payment a week (because we didn't want it shipped out) we didn't matter to him. What the heck did when payment was made make any difference??? When payment was made we were assured it would be 4 days MAX until it arrived and instead wasn't shipped out until 5 days later causing my owner to eat a ton of costs in employees with nothing to do and orders he had to refund because our equipment didn't arrive. The owner of this FRANCHISE is an arrogant piece of work. I have never ever ever heard of someone so happy to report a CUSTOMER just wasn't that important to him and he didn't care. At least people try to pretend they care in customer service he was just happy to say our problem wasn't his problem and because he had our machine he was in control and he would ship it out whenever. He also blatantly lied about timelines and conversations (I love when people do that when everything is in writing via email...) we will be filing a complaint with corporate and the BBB now that we have been notified it arrived at the warehouse locally to be shipped out (something in me highly doubts it's actually in okay shape but we're hoping for the best once it's delivered) What a NIGHTMARE! And what a terrible person. These other reviews are clearly employees or friends. Stay away at all costs. Not worth your time or aggravation. We went with this company because they promised a quicker delivery time even though they came in more expensive than the other quotes.... they were double the ship time and more expensive.... go to anyone and I mean ANYONE else. read more

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. They damaged over $2500.00 of furniture and made NO attempt to make it right. They delivered over a week later than the expected date, cost was $800 over what it was estimated at, items were missing and after many attempts verified with pictures the claim amount they sent me was $25.00. I used Navis Pach & Ship to move my things from Minneapolis to San Francisco. Jerry, Beau and the entire Navis team were amazing. They were so kind, nice and easy to work with. They called me back promptly, recognized my name and my voice and were always willing to answer my numerous questions. I called tons of moving and shipping companies and they all quoted me three times the price that Navis offered. Plus, I like supporting and sustaining local businesses. I had all my items boxed up and ready to go - and Navis came to my house, arrived well within the time frame that we arranged together (they were able to accomodate my schedule) and picked up my stuff. They were careful about wiping their feet and not tracking mud through the house and treated my "stuff" as precious cargo. I would totally recommend using Navis again and would gladly call them if I needed anything shipped and/or moved cross country. read more

My company deals with museum exhibitions, and we've used Navis for projects ranging from a small cross-town white glove furniture delivery to the shipment of an entire exhibition of artwork, musical instruments and memorabilia. We receive many bids for our projects, but Navis's pricing is fair, and it just makes sense to support a local business. read more

Navis is great! My parents moved to Florida last week. We struggled to find a good shipping company for their household items because they didn't have enough to be moved on a large moving companies van and it was way too expensive to have their stuff shipped via a company like Pods. They picked up my parents boxes exactly as scheduled. They were very careful when they shrink wrapped the pallet with their stuff and my parents received everything within a week. Nothing was broken or damaged. They were very polite, respectful and the cost was cheaper than quoted. I highly recommend them! read more

Jerry and his energetic crew helped my siblings and myself move out of our childhood home and storage lockers. We had put this move off for years and were dreading the worst case scenario as we had several large, fragile, family treasures. They could not have been more professional, more efficient or more reasonable for all the (cheerfully rendered) services they provided my family over a span of days. Each of us were given tremendous relief upon returning to our respective homes and receiving our well-protected shipment completely damage free. My brother added "remarkably, mom and dad's 8' chinese mural arrived in pristine condition....not a scratch on it." A group of college students from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities under my supervision shipped a disassembled timber structure for a national design-build competition in California. We contracted the shipping to the Eagan, MN location of Navis Pack and Ship, and paid $2,617.18 up front for the service, but is was delivered incomplete. Due to the tight schedule, as well as lack of access to tools and workspace, the students were forced to compete with an incomplete structure. As expected, this resulted in a severely penalized score. After working for an entire semester on this project, it was extremely disappointing that our outcome was severely undermined by Navis Ship and Pack's poor service. The funds for this project were generated entirely by donations that the students obtained from engineering and construction firms in the Twin Cities, MN area. After weeks of requesting some degree of satisfaction or accommodation, Navis Pack and Ship refused to accept any responsibility for the items that were lost in transit. We will never use Navis Pack and Ship again, not only because of the poor service we received, but also because they did not stand behind the service they promised us. I recently used Navis to ship very delicate and priceless items from Minneapolis to Denver. While the items arrived in perfect condition, I must comment on the misleading service. I spoke with Ann on the phone to arrange everything. I explained how valuable these items were and she assured me that a custom box would be made for these items. I was relieved at hearing this and didn't balk at the price of $650 to get these two items here. I believed that I would have a secure way to move these items in the future. However, in this "custom packaging", the only thing they provided was cutting a cardboard box to size. UPS could do the same thing for a much lower price. I could have driven to Minneapolis to retrieve the items for about the same price. There is absolutely ZERO reason to charge customers this much for providing no more than shipping.... Such a disappointment. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more
