Ride charges $25 (adult) $10 (kids) $0 (2 and under) we shared a carriage with another family. The ride was smooth and literally around all of downtown through many alleys, and main streets. I dom't recall how long the ride was, but my guess would be over an hour because when I got off my legs felt stiff. Bonus they have a blanket on board if your feeling a little chilly. Rob gave us a choice of a history tour, music, or friendly conversation. We appreciated this as we live in St. Augustine and have heard the history many times. Ron asked us what type of music we liked and let it play. He had blankets for us which was great for the cool breezy night. We really enjoyed how friendly Rob was. We are very personable people and loved not only hearing about Rob, but he also shared some unknown facts about St. Augustine that you don't always here on the tours. It was a wonderful experience.

Walking tour operator…read more I took the opportunity to join my kids school trip to St. Augustine as a chaperone and as part of that, the school engaged Ancient City Tours as our guide for the day. The guide we had was Matt. Matt with the hat to be exact- because, you guessed it, he wore a hat. Easy to find if you were lagging behind - and easy to remember. Matt and his Hat made the day memorable- he certainly knew a lot of the St. Augustine history and was able to keep all the group engaged- kids, adults and even the teachers. He was super flexible with our group and overall, he made the day much better than I could have done on my own. Shout out to Matt and the Ancient City Tours team.

The ghost tour was especially amazing--she even gave my son a small device to help detect ghost activity, which made the experience extra fun for him. She also showed him an app where he could see and track ghost activity, which was really interesting (and a little eerie!). We stopped at several locations to admire the beautiful architecture of churches and historic buildings. Kendall is a true storyteller--she really gets into character and even dresses the part, which made everything feel more immersive. She added humor with some great puns, and we found ourselves laughing and enjoying every moment. One of the highlights was standing in a courtyard using a handheld device where we could hear what seemed like ghostly responses. It even answered my question when I asked its name--very eerie and unforgettable! Whether you believe in ghosts or not, learning about the darker, ghostly side of Saint Augustine made for a perfect evening. I've always wanted to experience something like this, and I'm so glad we booked it, even last minute. You won't regret it--but be sure to ask for Kendall... or you might! I asked about pricing, without looking up she told me to look behind her at the posters (which I was doing- there is no pricing listed there). When I asked if there was a possibility of interpreters for ASL (with 2 weeks notice) she said it would have to be a paying guest that we provide. This is illegal and against ADA code. This is the oldest city in America with a Deaf school; it is unacceptable to be rude to deaf people. I'd suggest doing anything else with your time.
