Getting this activity 'on the books' was more than aggravating, to say the least. The tasting tour…read moresays that to text them is a quicker option for response to inquiries (for them.) It most definitely didn't seem that way! They DID get back to me via text, but it wasn't in a quick fashion. I'd say an semi-acceptable fashion (within 8-12 hours.) Regardless, we DID get our event scheduled for a private tour with (15 people.) It was quite an expensive 'private tour' of the night of lights that was explained to me as tho the grinch (driving one trolly) and Santa (driving another trolly) would interact with one another (more than minimally) and make the tour exclusive to all 15 of us. They would hop off one trolly and interact with the passengers of the other trolly, etc. In reality, it was NOT a collective tour. The grinch separated from the other trolly and it was essentially two separate tours. Approximately 3-4 times they interacted with one another (acting as tho one would hit the other's trolly, yelling insults at Santa, responding to the grinch, and stopping at the 'duck bar' for the ambush together.) The address to initially meet at is kind of hard to find, even with GPS, as well! There is NO indication of 'the tasting tours' business name on the store front at the address. It is a Cuban bakery.' YES, we all had a good time.... But I don't want the rest of you that book a 'private' tour to be mislead or pay for something you won't receive. *** I also find it distasteful that the company charges an unprecedented amount of money for the trolly rides and then has the audacity to send an email asking for further tip for the trolly drivers.*** Whether a patron tips or not is up to them, not a business owner requesting it!

I booked a sunset cruise with Sabrage in St. Augustine to celebrate my brother and sister-in-law's…read more33rd wedding anniversary. With a perfect 75° evening forecasted for a Saturday night, it seemed like an ideal way to enjoy the occasion. Their online booking system was easy to use, and after our credit card was authorized, we were all set for a 5:00 PM departure. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the dock, things took a disappointing turn. The business office was open, but no staff were inside. After asking around at nearby boats, we learned that no one from Sabrage had been seen all day. I called the number provided, only to reach voicemail. About ten minutes after 5:00, I finally received a callback informing me that they had simply overlooked our reservation and did not have staff available to run the boat that night. It's incredibly frustrating to book an event on a Friday, only to show up the next day and find out that the company didn't even check their reservations. Based on other reviews, it seems like the cruises themselves are enjoyable, but the lack of organization and reliability is a major red flag. If you do choose to book with them, I highly recommend calling ahead--maybe even more than once--to confirm that they're actually operating. To their credit, they voided the charge quickly, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. On a beautiful Saturday night in March, in a prime tourist location, I can't understand why a cruise company wouldn't be running. If not then, when? Given this experience, I have no plans to book with them again.

There were about 5 couples all together on the tour. We stopped at three different bars and explored some different areas all within walking distance. The first place was beer only, so my significant other got a free drink since the tour guide bought everyone's first round. The next place we ordered shots and the third place, Stogies, we didn't drink. The first distillery, was very large and you were able to see the machines in the back. The restroom was clean but had minimal waiting space. We only had a few hecklers outside the tour, but we ignored them and made jokes about it since they were pretty wasted. We learned different stories in the area including burial spots. The bars were pretty packed so we did what we could to avoid others and be too close. I happened to catch some orbs in some photos I took which was really cool. Stogies was the most interesting. The guide told us about Annie, who used to own the building. He explained townspeople didn't like her and she was found murdered on her own door step. So she's been called a malevolent spirit. That the bar staff close in pairs and she's injured other staff before. We also took pictures upstairs too. All in all it was a good trip and good price. Only 25 per person. Would definitely do again.

Elizabeth took us to Lemon Tree Gift shop first where you have an opportunity to see so may unique gifts many produced by local crafters. We also spent time in the Artisans Art Gallery (most of us went back to either of the stops after the tour because we had seen something to purchase). However, the highlight was the four restaurants on the tour where we were treated to such incredible food pairings. Trust me when I say, no one left hungry! We were treated to unique American dishes, BBQ, seafood, and home made doughnuts and ice cream. One example, The Cattle Dog is owned by a five star chef who brought his culinary skills to this quaint town. I highly recommend you book this tour for a fun, fabulous, food tour in the lovely coastal town of Crystal River.

Not only did we get to know a bit of the towns history, we got to eat incredible food and meet incredible people. I chose for us to do a private tour and it did not disappoint. It was a great day to experience Inverness, Florida! What a beautiful, small town. I highly suggest booking one of these tours, Elizabeth was highly knowledgeable and knew the towns history backwards and forwards. Highly recommend! Great experience that was not expensive. Well worth it!

5 Enormous Stars! I can't believe that this business did not have a Yelp listing already set up…read more This is, by far, one of the best walking food and wine tours I have ever taken, and I've taken over twenty. Our group had 12 people in it; she said the most she'll do is groups of 16. Cost was approximately $100 per person. Communication was excellent regarding meeting time, place, etc. The business is owned and operated by Jimberly, (yes, Jimberly) who used to be a chef, and owned her own small restaurant... 'til Covid came along. She prides herself on the fact that none of the places we stop at have pre-made, bar/generic food. Let her know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions, and she'll do her best to make special arrangements for you. She has been a Mount Dora native for many years, and had so many great local stories, gave a bunch of great recommendations, and knew people and dogs almost everywhere we went. Each food tour Jimberly does varies, depending on restaurant availability, but this is the one we took: Stop 1: Olive Branch - half glass of red, half glass of white, house salad, penne alla vodka. Stop 2: Lakeside Inn Gift Shop - shot of peach wine, shot of pomegranate wine, shot of chocolate liquor. We got a discount if we bought anything. Stop 3: Las Palmas Cuban Restaurant - scoop of mofongo, piece of skirt steak, piece of cuban, tostone with ropa vieja, piece of flan, piece of tres leches cake, small mojito! This place was outstanding! Stop 4: White Orchid Market Gift Shop - chip with dip, ramekin of pasta, small piece of fudge. Discount, so I bought a candle. Stop 5: Magical Meat Boutique - This is a British Pub, so we had fish and chips, and a cocktail. So good! So full! Absolutely a great experience, and a "must" do if you visit Mount Dora.
