Night of Lights

We did the St Augustine Night of Lights Trolley Tour on Jan 4th. It was our 11th year the event and mayvbe 4th time in the red trolley I think it was the most fun we have ever thanks to our guide Handsome Alex! My 15 year old was not wanting to go because she was over Christmas musi and just being a teenage! Alex played the best mix of music and none of it was Christmas! She danced the entire trip starting with Clap along if you feel Happy, ending with Journeys Believe! Everyone along the street had a smile and was singing along as we drove by! Top trip and I'm already looking forward to next year! Reccommend buying tickets in advance to get times you want. *** only thing that I didn't like was the glasses for lights, you had to hold them instead of wearing like glasses. I hope you do away with those!

"Handsome Alex" was great! Kept it fun and entertaining. We came for Fourth of July weekend and are very glad we took this tour! 10/10!!!

My husband and I love history-the good, bad, and in between. We thought this would be a great way to learn about the history of St. Augustine. Buying tickets was easy and the tour started promptly. Our tour took us to some great places with a lot of historic value. I learned a lot today. I saw quite a few places that I want to go back and see up close. I just may do that tomorrow. Anyhow, the tour was about one hour long and it was nice to be on the train instead of a walking tour. It's the end of July so it's as hot as the devil's pinky toenail outside.

Great way to see the city, especially for us first timers. Our tour guide, handsome Kevin, was entertaining and taught us some history. The ride was a good amount of time. Our group consisted of infants, kids, adults and senior citizens and everyone enjoyed it.

Great tour of the city's history with humor and laughter. Thank you "handsome" Alex!

Scott, our tour guide was so fun and played the 90's music while we rode the fun golf cart ride! One of my favorite one was the wine and cheese spread at the top floor of cathedral with a beautiful view of the city. The eggplants spread, goat cheese with honey on a rustic bread was amazing and the wine was wonderful. What a fun way to explore the historic st. Augustine through food, amazing wine, view of downtown, and places to visit per our tour guide recommendations. I definitely recommend this tasting tour for a fun day in st. Augustine.

Getting this activity 'on the books' was more than aggravating, to say the least. The tasting tour…read moresays that to text them is a quicker option for response to inquiries (for them.) It most definitely didn't seem that way! They DID get back to me via text, but it wasn't in a quick fashion. I'd say an semi-acceptable fashion (within 8-12 hours.) Regardless, we DID get our event scheduled for a private tour with (15 people.) It was quite an expensive 'private tour' of the night of lights that was explained to me as tho the grinch (driving one trolly) and Santa (driving another trolly) would interact with one another (more than minimally) and make the tour exclusive to all 15 of us. They would hop off one trolly and interact with the passengers of the other trolly, etc. In reality, it was NOT a collective tour. The grinch separated from the other trolly and it was essentially two separate tours. Approximately 3-4 times they interacted with one another (acting as tho one would hit the other's trolly, yelling insults at Santa, responding to the grinch, and stopping at the 'duck bar' for the ambush together.) The address to initially meet at is kind of hard to find, even with GPS, as well! There is NO indication of 'the tasting tours' business name on the store front at the address. It is a Cuban bakery.' YES, we all had a good time.... But I don't want the rest of you that book a 'private' tour to be mislead or pay for something you won't receive. *** I also find it distasteful that the company charges an unprecedented amount of money for the trolly rides and then has the audacity to send an email asking for further tip for the trolly drivers.*** Whether a patron tips or not is up to them, not a business owner requesting it!

This review is for the Christmas Light Tour…read more I had a very disappointing experience with St. Augustine Land and Sea Tours due to poor communication and a lack of integrity. I received a text message at 3:00 PM (sent at 1:15 PM, but not seen until later) stating that they were having mechanical issues with one of their carts and wanted to move my reservation to 8:00 PM. This did not work for me, as I cannot drive at night and the person driving me was unable to change his plans. They then asked if 6:30 PM would work, which I agreed to, but this change meant I now had to take an Uber since my driver had already made other arrangements. I requested a refund for the one person who could no longer attend due to their schedule change and was told the cancellation policy is 24 hours. I explained that the 24-hour policy should apply both ways, especially when the company is the one changing the reservation the day of the tour. To add to the confusion, I was then told I had been put back on my "original" time of 6:30 PM--however, my original reservation time was actually 7:30 PM. I would have gladly paid my $40 ticket and the additional $25 each way for Uber transportation if they had refunded the second ticket. However, paying $130 total just to look at Christmas lights is excessive. The fact that the company changed the schedule and still refused to refund the one ticket speaks volumes about their integrity. I highly do not recommend using this company for any tours.

Whether…read moreit's specialty truffles, chocolate bars, coated nuts or classic chocolate seashells, you're sure to be amazed. They have fudge, popcorns, brittles & even a variety of chocolate based wine & liqueur. While the delectable scent of fresh chocolate draws you in, the loaded displays around you are sure to keep you there. They've recently undergone some renovations which are finally done & the new store looks great. The floor has really been opened up & they did a great job at utilizing the space. Everything is organized nicely, prices are listed clearly & the store itself is spotless. While it may not be the biggest, it's easy to get carried away here as you look at the deliciousness surrounding you. I haven't personally tried them yet but their hot chocolates definitely caught my eye, they offer a nice handful of varieties. Even the coffee lovers, like myself, are recognized. They have a chocolate-flavored coffee that sounds interesting so I'm thinking about grabbing a bag on my next visit. The chocolate covered espresso beans are also delicious, although I like the milk chocolate ones way more than the dark. Every time I've visited this location the employees are so friendly. They acknowledge you as soon as you enter, they almost always offer help & they're efficient at handling crowds. Customer service goes a long way & they do a great job here. If you're just passing through or staying in St. Augustine then you need to give them a visit. In a world full of mass produced chocolate, it's a breath of fresh air to find a company that cares about serving amazing products. You can even do a factory tour at this location to find out all about their process!
