The guide we had was Matt. Matt with the hat to be exact- because, you guessed it, he wore a hat. Easy to find if you were lagging behind - and easy to remember. Matt and his Hat made the day memorable- he certainly knew a lot of the St. Augustine history and was able to keep all the group engaged- kids, adults and even the teachers. The ghost tour was especially amazing--she even gave my son a small device to help detect ghost activity, which made the experience extra fun for him. She also showed him an app where he could see and track ghost activity, which was really interesting (and a little eerie!). We stopped at several locations to admire the beautiful architecture of churches and historic buildings. Kendall is a true storyteller--she really gets into character and even dresses the part, which made everything feel more immersive. She added humor with some great puns, and we found ourselves laughing and enjoying every moment. One of the highlights was standing in a courtyard using a handheld device where we could hear what seemed like ghostly responses. It even answered my question when I asked its name--very eerie and unforgettable! Whether you believe in ghosts or not, learning about the darker, ghostly side of Saint Augustine made for a perfect evening. I've always wanted to experience something like this, and I'm so glad we booked it, even last minute. You won't regret it--but be sure to ask for Kendall... or you might! And I wasn't about to call out of work since my job was right around the corner. I have been on a few tours but haven't seen many tour guides this knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the place they are presenting. Gary, our tour guide and the president of this company, was dressed in costume as Andrew Jackson, whom the city was named after. Did you know he was state governor? Me neither. The tour my son and I attended was the Tuesday tour which takes you to a rooftop view as well as the underground view in a tunnel and underground vault. Sadly the restaurant in the tunnel and the top floor cafe in the bank of america building were no longer there (but good thing I took my son to both places years ago!), but we still go to learn tons about the city and saw some cool places. We went to a rooftop restaurant with a gorgeous view of the river. It was on a day that it was closed, so the tour group had the place to ourselves. Afterwards, we went downstairs and down into tunnels from one building to another. In one of the tunnels, we went to an underground vault only accessible through the tour. The door to the vault was still functional. It was really cool to open it and see some historic documents inside, and then surprisingly a fallout shelter! Along the path, we discussed some historical photos and learned about the changes in the city throughout the decades as well as some interesting historical tidbits, such as the city's previous life as the hub of movie industry during the silent era. Afterwards, we checked out some of the murals by James Weldon Johnson Park (named after the civil rights activist and writer) and learned about the original sculpture that inspired one of the murals. The sculpture "Lift Every Voice and Sing," named after the James Weldon Johnson poem, was created by the local artist Augusta Savage from Green Cove Springs. I really appreciate the inclusion black historical residents on this tour. This is something that history books rarely mention. Great tour, super informative, fun and interesting. I look forward to trying one of the other tours in the future.

Hubs surprised me with a helicopter ride over St. Augustine for our 16th anniversary. Easy to find…read moreand the ladies working here are so sweet! Immediately greeted, we had a morning flight and they were not busy at all. My hubs didn't know how I'd like it so we only took the beach flight which was $50/person and lasted about 5 minutes in the air. You check in and then when they are ready for the flight, they drive you over to the flight pad area. They offer to take your picture in front of the helicopter which of course I opted YES! They then go over safety information while the pilot checks the helicopter for fluids and such. We put on our life vests and got in! Pilot was very friendly and explained stuff the entire time. My daughter was happy since she got to sit in the front. We felt very safe while flying and will definitely be back!! Highly recommend if you're thinking about doing this. But I'd pay to be in flight longer next time. Definitely want to take the tour of the entire St. Augustine area.

Both of the employees there were very friendly and extremely nice. Of course getting a beautiful sunset is a gamble because you never know how the weather will be, but I would have to say it was one of the best sunsets I've seen. The duration of the flight was a perfect amount of time. Flies over the ocean, the St Augustine pier, around the lighthouse, intercostal and by the fort. On our trip we were lucky enough to see dolphins also. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! It's a blast!!! I would go again too.

Our tour guide was fantastic--engaging, knowledgeable, and just the right amount of theatrical. The driver was also a character and added some extra personality to the experience. The stops were interesting, especially the wax museum and the old jail. My wife got a bit freaked out at those parts, but nothing was over-the-top scary. If you're looking for something entertaining with a spooky twist--but not too intense--this is definitely worth doing. We're glad we went and would recommend it to anyone visiting St. Augustine!
