Last night we took the twilight boat tour of St. Augustine that leaves from the Vilano Beach pier. It was wonderful. We left at 5:30 and headed towards downtown St. AUGUSTINE. the boat captain quickly pointed out a pod of dolphins ahead of us. He slowed the boat to allow us all to get pictures of the dolphins. It was majestic. We then headed towards the bridge of lions and went under that, allowing for more pictures. The boat then headed towards the city of St. Augustine to view all of the Christmas lights that were still up. Everyone on board had plenty of time to snap pictures, and the boat assistant also offered to take pictures of everyone with the city as a backdrop. The whole trip was wonderful, and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful trip, easy to book online, and reasonably priced. The logistics were very easy to work with, and they even rescheduled us to a more beautiful evening, since our originally booked trip was on a rainy night. We got to see dolphins, the lights of St Augustine, and the historic areas originally visited by Ponce de Leon. We got a beautiful night I've scenery, and souvenir photos taken by the boat staff. I would highly recommend this activity.

Captain Greg and Tammy were great! We had the best time on the Nights of Lights tour- and they had blankets since it was a cold night. Highly recommend!

It's been two week since I went on this sunset boat tour with this company. I still have a high regard for this company. TheThis was for a significant anniversary for my family and we chose to go on the sunset tour. Of course, they did not have any control over the weather but the sunset that evening was stunning. It could have not been better. We went by St. Augustine as the sun went down in the West and the view was just fabulous shades of yellow, orange, magenta, ocre, blue, violet, deep blue and black. We went under the Bridge of Lions and Capt. Jimmy relayed a fact of history of which I had no idea. Capt. Jimmy and his first mate were a joy to listen to. Capt. Jimmy delayed the boat because he was giving a gift to a community volunteer who worked with helping young men escape gangs in Duval County. That young man was doing something special for his dad's birthday. Though the boat tour was delayed, this young man his dad and his family were just a joy to experience. It's nice to know your captain has a caring, community spirit. Capt. Jimmy was very giving of his knowledge of the waterways, the bays, tides, shipping, history of the waters and the rich history of St. Augustine. we did not have to pepper him with questions. We look for green sea turtles feeding on a jetty (didn't see them), saw dolphins (multiple times) We went by the old Fort (Castillo de San Marcos) which is a national Park and saw it before the sun went down. It was majestic looking backlit with the sun set. Oh, and Capt. Jimmy has a sense of humour. The "tour of homes" across from St. Augustine is not to be missed. - However it's a day time tour, not at night. There was never a boring moment during the tour. We learned a great deal Capt. Jimmy We even went to spot of the very first landing of the Spainsh where they first encounter the Timucuan. I will tell you, there are a lot of places where you get tours in the historic town. We did a haunted pub crawl and the tour guide was barely accurate about the historic details. Capt. Jimmy? Everything he told us checked out when we did an internet search (with reliable resources= St. Augustine Historical, Florida State Historical Archives). So, Capt. Jimmy gets a 5 star rating in his historical accuracy. This was a welcome relief. The only other place to get accurate history was at the Governor's House (University of Florida) or the Castillo de San Marcos (U.S. National Park Service) I learned more new facts about St. Augustine on this trip that I didn't know. it was sublime experience. Best thing besides Lincolnville Museum (OMG!), Castillo de San Marcos National Park and the Governor's house and the Heroes statute next to the Slave Market.

We planned to take family who were visiting Florida for the holidays on a dolphin tour, then thought the sunset tour would be nice, or maybe the nights of lights in St Augustine from the water and with Adventure Boat Tours we actually got all three in one evening. I could not have been happier with the ease of booking the tour. They even gave us tips and suggestions of other nearby less-known activities and restaurants to impress our guests with. We had to change our date and add on another guest when we had a surprise addition to our group, but they were so accommodating. Captain Jimmy was hilarious and the outing was so much fun. We saw dolphin right away next to the boat before we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. I was not sure how the nights of lights would look from the water, but they were so pretty. The city as well as the water ways were so busy, so I was super impressed how they navigated the ride and made us felt like we were the VIPs out that night. I loved the facts and stories they shared and all around everything about this adventure was just perfect. A few days later we did the nights of lights in town and the crowds made this outing much less enjoyable. If I ever go to see them again, we all agreed we would only do so from the water. I would highly recommend Adventure Boat Tours and will make it my go-to activity for out of town guests in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunset Cruise with Adventure Boat Tours! Captain Jimmy was so personable, humorous, and knowledgeable as he pointed out the dolphins, historic buildings, and beautiful scenery. As he guided us close to important landmarks, his remarks taught us so much about the significance of each one. His nice wife, Della, made sure we all felt comfortable as she passed out blankets on the chilly night. The beautiful sunset was so colorful and lasted a long time! Since we were staying at a hotel in Vilano Beach, we could walk to the fishing pier (where this tour starts). This was such a relaxing way to see beautiful sites and learn about history at the same time!

So we rescheduled for mid-May. This time, everyone made it;))) We arrived a few minutes before the boat launched. It was extra crowded as we were told another tour company cancelled, so they let those customers on our boat. It was tight, but we were ready for some fun! We were moving along on Matanzas Bay about 10 minutes. I went to the restroom and noticed some open space in the back of the boat. I went back to the front and got me friends and that's where we hung out the remainder of the boat ride. I'm not a fan of restricted space, so this move felt great! We saw dolphins and an amazing sunset. We went under the Lions Bridge, went by the St Augustine Lighthouse and Castillo de San Marcos. I can't explain how absolutely perfect the weather was that night. But if I go again, I will choose mid-May! Not too hot or humid. The staff was fabulous and friendly! Don't forget to tip them when exiting the boat.
