So we rescheduled for mid-May. This time, everyone made it;))) We arrived a few minutes before the boat launched. It was extra crowded as we were told another tour company cancelled, so they let those customers on our boat. It was tight, but we were ready for some fun! We were moving along on Matanzas Bay about 10 minutes. I went to the restroom and noticed some open space in the back of the boat. I went back to the front and got me friends and that's where we hung out the remainder of the boat ride. I'm not a fan of restricted space, so this move felt great! We saw dolphins and an amazing sunset. We went under the Lions Bridge, went by the St Augustine Lighthouse and Castillo de San Marcos. I can't explain how absolutely perfect the weather was that night. But if I go again, I will choose mid-May! Not too hot or humid. The staff was fabulous and friendly! Don't forget to tip them when exiting the boat.

I said, "Absolutely, slack tides suck." We paused our trip to later in the day when the tides were better. He knows some great fishing spots and a bit of the areas history. He's great at sampling what is biting and will make sure you have catch to bring home.

It was complete negative experience for us. They also allow the other group before yours to stay til the end during your time and they were also making noise. I wouldn't suggest it at all, except to view the lighthouse with a little less people, view the city at night and to be cooler than during the heat of the sun.
