We experienced this holiday magical night from the @staugustineboattours as the entire town was lit up with over three million lights. We cruised down the waterfront from Conch House Marina in Anastasia Island to enjoy the dazzling lights along the bayfront. There were plenty of photo opps while also taking in the landmarks that make the city so very special. We ended the magical evening with dinner and walked around the tree lit Plaza, holiday music and gifts shops. Although it was a cold night we enjoyed the overall experience, the crew provided blankets and we brought our own snacks. We even had some fun viewing the lights with special 3D glasses. This was a super fun cruise to see the Christmas lights! The crew were entertaining and full of the Christmas spirit. They had Christmas music on and were singing along. Perfect for what I was looking for. We took a private charter sunset cruise with a dozen people. Sean was our captain and did a great job communicating with us about the tour ahead of time and taking us comfortably around the area. This was a wonderful and laid back way to relax and cool down in the middle of a HOT day. Very easily accessible and plenty of parking available. We lucked in to an all female crew who were awesome (my ten year old daughter is still talking about the woman captain . The cruise was a great value for the cost! Both captains' were knowledgeable about nature and St. Augustine history. We saw several dolphins mating and lots of aquatic bird life. We would definitely book with them again and for a longer cruise. One hour is great, but we would have loved to stay longer on the water. My girlfriend and I took a fantastic tour today with Captain Matt and crew. We were originally booked with Red Boat Tours which had to cancel last minute but arranged for a new tour with these guys. We were graciously welcomed aboard and offered complimentary drinks (both adult and water). We enjoyed a full hour of sightseeing and aside from hearing about the cities history, we also saw much of the wildlife that inhabits the coast. The highlight of the tour was seeing the dolphins play in the water. Our captain slowed and stopped to allow for as many pictures as we wanted to take. We would highly recommend taking one of the many tours offered. read more
