My husband and I had done Segways a couple times, our daughter one other time, but our niece had never done Segways. We decided to do a tour of old St Augustine instead of purchasing trolley tickets. John was our guide and he was fantastic! We got plenty of time to get acquainted with our Segway before embarking on our journey. They really messed up our day! Booked tour over a week in advance, they confirmed several hours prior to the tour. We drive to town, pay for parking only to be told that they cancelled our tour. No attempt to contact or make it right in any way. Really disappointed!! read more

The moment we got there, we had no idea where to park. There was an employee outside and did not greet me or my boyfriend. Once we got inside, we were slightly greeted by the lady behind the counter. The bikes were in greatly used condition. The lady asked for an ID and payment card. So we gave her my ID and my boyfriends credit card. She then asked for me to sign it when it wasn't my card. Proves she didn't even bother to look at the names on both cards. Once we got to the bikes, they never offered us safety gear nor were the bikes equipped with safety equipment for night driving such as reflectors or flashing light. We were never asked if we had any questions or anything. Within less than an hour, we decided the bike ride wasn't the greatest idea for safety reasons. We went back to see if we can just pay for an hour or two and the man said "once you've paid for the rental it's yours. No refund." There was no signs anywhere about no refunds or rental policies. The lady never explained anything regarding the rental. Nor did she have us sign anything except for the payment. We were never disclosed anything. WORSE SERVICE Will not recommend them or go back there. SD: it was embarrassing when we parked our bikes next to some bikes from "Solano Bike Rentals." They were newer and much better shape than the ones we had. They had baskets, reflective gear, cup holders. read more

Friendly service, centrally located, and reasonable prices make this bike rental shop a hit in my book. Once having a bike, St. Augustine is your oyster as there are tie ups for them literally everywhere and the city itself is extremely easy to ride a bicycle in and the size of the city is appropriate for riding bikes where walking all day would be just a little too far from one destination to the next. read more

John was our tour guide... absolute blast for first time Segway trip! About an hour and a half or more... just enough- my feet were starting to ache. So much fun and the info given was very interesting. There is so much history here that it's overwhelming but John did a good job at pointing out some of the highlights.... I will say there is a learning curve to riding these but I'm 44 wife is 40 and son is 10 and we all felt very comfortable after 15 mins- honestly was very intimidating at first!!! The "shop" appears rough, but didn't really care about that. The equipment was maintained but certainly used- not complaining by any means, no one had ANY issues with equipment. My only wish would be that they got new helmets... was kinda "skeeved" out by them. That being said, we bought our tickets through Groupon but they were sold as two so we had to buy our third ticket at regular price, but we felt that even that was a great value! John took us all throughout the city and all the way to the fort... all in all an OUTSTANDING experience that we would certainly do again! read more

We rented bikes from this company with the intent to bike to the beach. On the way, the crank broke which almost caused a wreck. The bike could no longer be used. We were a few miles from the bike company. We called the company and they told us to call multiple Ubers to transport the bikes back as they had no way to come pick up their bikes as we were stranded and didn't want to separate. When we got back to the bike store, we asked them to simply refund the entire rental fee as we were unable to use the bikes for the original purpose. The owner said he would only refund one bike rental fee. He then said he gave us a working bike and we broke the bike. The bikes were rusty and poorly maintained. The bike broke because it was old and out of maintenance. read more

We did the segway tour for my husband's birthday. (I didn't know this until we got there, but I had actually rented a moped from here approximately 10 years ago...) We walked up and were greeted by a couple guys in the shop, including our tour guide Cary. They asked us if we had ridden segways before, and when we said we had, Cary said we wouldn't have to be retaught how to ride. (We rode segways at Disney, and were made to watch a safety video that almost scared us out of riding!) We had another couple on our tour that had never ridden before, and Cary was very patient and had them both riding like pro's in minutes. Cary took us around the different touristy spots in Old St. Augustine, but he also took us to different restaurants that he liked. It was nice because now we know some places we want to try in the future! Cary was an amazing tour guide. You can tell he's a local that loves his town and wants everyone else to love it too. He was very funny and had some good stories about the town and its history. We will definitely go to this business again, they have mopeds and segways that you can rent for the hour/day/week/etc. It's a fun way to get around, for kids and adults! read more

We stopped by at 3:30 on a Tuesday and the guy looked at us like "what are you doing here". We asked about renting and he said he was closing up. (Sign on the door said 9-6) so I asked if he closed normally this early. He said normally at 5, today had been a slow day. So we asked if anyone else in town rented scooters. He told us about Solano scooters so we went there. The owner was super nice at Solano and even offered to let us keep the scooters overnight. He couldn't have been friendlier. We came here one week after Hurricane Matthew, and the owner said their store was badly damaged by the hurricane. Their scooters, scooter coupes, and bicycles were left outside during the hurricanes, so they will have a lot of repairing and maintenance to do for a while. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. We rented a scooter for two hours for $45, which included the price of gas. I took a star off because the scooter stalled more than five times throughout the rental period when the scooter was idling at stoplights, which was very inconvenient. It was also very difficult to start the engine back up. At one point, the engine stalled, and I had to spend a good five minutes to start it again. It was not a very good experience and I would give it a 3-stars under normal circumstances, but I understand that they are still recovering from the hurricane. I informed the owner of the problem, and he said he will fix it. He gave us a card that lets us get 30 minutes free for our next rental for compensation. read more

This is THEE place - My 2 little guys and me rented Segways for the historic downtown tour, and not only was SANDY impressive with her knowledge and friendliness, but she is a bit of a medic and a HUGE humanitarian as well. My 11 year old actually passed out ON the Segway during a stop - and her quick observation and immediate solicitation of a local restaurant for cold water and a wet cold cloth was simply beautiful. This freak occurrence was unnerving for this Dad, but their car service brought us back to the shop and she even offered to credit our day. Booked a Segway tour online. Arrived, got a short lesson and practiced riding in their lot. Our guide took us all through St Augustine. She knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were able to safely maneuver through the area. The Segway's were nice and handled well. You just have to pay attention to the cobblestones. Would highly recommend. read more

Be careful giving them a credit card online. I rented a golf cart online from them back in March. Due to a an emergency medical procedure, I had to cancel. After emailing them five days in advance(they require 48hrs),and calling a half dozen times with no answer, I was eventually charged on my card. Disputing it through my credit card company right now. Went on the St Augustine Segway Tour with our guide John today. Could not have been better. John was both informative of St. Augustine history and equally patient with us, total Segway rookies. We reserved e-bikes for 48 hours, one month in advance. Unfortunately the heat and humidity were overwhelming. After 6 hours we knew continuing to ride would be dangerous for us (all over 60 and not in great shape). We returned the bikes and requested a partial refund for the final 24 hours since we returned them after less than 24 hours in our possession. Poor local guy behind the counter, said he had no authority to credit and the owner was not and would not be available. We won't be renting here again. Other than this, bikes were in ok shape and the local guy, while nice, was clueless about e-bikes. Local tour guides use this place so there must be more good than we experienced. read more

We were 8 family members from age 12 to 66. Only one of us had any prior Segway experience. John was our trainer/tour guide. He did a fantastic job for us. Within minutes we were all able to ride, and the first part of our tour was designed to help us master the riding skills. He then took us on an amazing route through the the neighborhoods and downtown to see the Night Lights on one of the busiest days of the year. We all negotiated both the pedestrian traffic and the narrow sidewalks without incident. It was fabulous. Forget the boring trolley tour. Go Segway!! read more

Took a last-minute stop in this town and on a whim, decided to rent segways. They were less expensive than the other place we called probably because they are not right downtown but you end up there anyway so it doesn't matter. Our guide was charismatic and fun to listen to. Safety was an obvious priority but not oppressive. (We took a tour in Chicago a couple years ago and it wasn't as fun.) They also rent a cute 3 wheel motorized "car" to tool around town. And bicycles of course. Staff was very friendly. Will be back! read more

On their website it states that they have child seats available to attach to the adult bikes, but when we got there, the man said that they didn't have any.
