Came across Sun and Fun E-Bikes while looking for local things to do in TripAdvisor. Both of us have ridden electric bikes elsewhere and always find it a great time - Sun and Fun E-Bikes was just as wonderful as previous rides! Booked a reservation one day prior and on the day of, the truck pulled out front of the drop off location specified. Both Jennifer and Chris greeted us, rolled the bikes out of the truck, then oriented us to the bikes and equipment - bike locks, helmets, gears, and throttle. The helmets were really cool because it was like an intercom system between us, so we could talk and listen to each other while riding without yelling. The bikes were in great shape! We reserved 2 hours and the time began AFTER orientation so we got two full hours of ride time! We arrived 5 minutes before pick up and the truck pulled up 5 minutes later! Jennifer was staffing the shop so Chris was solo and he was just as pleasant and conversational. Sun and Fun E-Bikes is highly recommended and we will definitely reserve a future e-ride! read more

Sun and Fun E-Bikes is the ONLY place to go to rent a great e-bike, at great prices and with great support! I do a lot of research before I make a decision, and finding an e-bike to rent for a month in St Augustine was no exception. I found five places to rent and only Sun and Fun E-Bikes got back to me quickly, were friendly, had great prices, and were customer-focused. The service they offer is above and beyond. One other place I researched didn't even offer helmets. Sun and Fun E-Bikes have helmets that are cutting edge allowing you to communicate with others in your party and listen to music. One day my gear chain came off and I called them and they said they'd be out right away and they were. It turned out to be something I could have easily fixed in 10 seconds. Now I know! This is the kind of company that is responsive and does what they say they're going to do. Unfortunately, not something we see in all companies. Sun And Fun E-Bikes might possibly be one of the kindest businesses we have ever dealt with. The owners truly valued our business. After giving us a great rate, they not only delivered the bikes to our rental home, but were full service. We had to contact them three times due to issues out of anyone's control (twice for flat tires due to unseen road debris) and they responded quickly with a brand new bike exchange, no questions asked. Arriving in only one car, the bikes gave our 18-20 year old guys their own transportation around the area when we were using the car. They rode them all over town, to all the beaches, and even took them all the way into Old Town St. Augustine twice. It was like having a Golfcart, only better because each person had their own. I 100% recommend Sun and Fun E-Bikes to anyone visiting the area who needs a little more flexibility with transportation. These bikes are legit and lots of fun! read more

Exceptional! Could not have asked for a better experience. Jen and Chris were extremely helpful in providing all equipment needed as well as safety helmets... with intercoms! Dropped off and picked up the bikes at our hotel exactly on time and were very thorough in explaining the operations and characteristics of the bikes. This was a worthwhile experience and the bikes were so much fun, riding through the whole city of St. Augustine and visiting so many of the sites and attractions. Then back to the beach at low tide where we were able cruise for miles..... on the beach! What a day and most enjoyable experience for us. REN tenting two Bikes from Sun and Fun E Bikes, was the BEST thing we did on our Vacation to St. Augustine. These are two of the Nicest people you will meet and the Totally understand of the "Customer Service" that is lacking in this world! They went above & Beyond what we expected. They delivered to us 2 Brand new E bikes, explained all that we needed to know (very patient with us) , and brought us 2 helmets that are equipped with an intercom so that we could talk through the entire time. I had never been on an e-bike, and after working with Jennifer & Chris, it is High on our dream list to buy our own. Wow! What a great experience riding these E-bikes. The ease of renting and the convenience of delivery is an added benefit. Everything about this rental was excellent! We rented two different bikes, to compare them. Both the Cafe Cruiser XR and the LMT'D step through were each suitable for St. Augustine area. The bikes were high quality and like new. Arrived in town looking to see the off the main drag parts, so rented two e bikes. Delivered to hotel, great equipment, intercom head sets in the helmets!! Followed by a smart to the point safety brief!! Off we went and ride straight into some biblical rain! Yes we hoped it would delay but alas not! Jennifer was so accommodating, let us keep the bikes over night (no issue with hotel) and gave us another crack at some adventure the next morning. All the way out to Anastasia park and districts in between. We were asked to lock and leave at the hotel, another accommodation that sets Sun and Fun way ahead of the others! This was my first experience with an ebike! Jennifer and her husband were timely dropping it off and extremely kind when explaining how everything worked. I was able to pick up on ebiking quickly. I could have gone the entire long weekend without charging it since I mainly used it to get to and from downtown. The ebike went very fast so I kept it to a slower speed that I was more comfortable with. They give you every you need! Not just a bike --charger, rain cover, sturdy lock, and a Bluetooth helmet. I was able to get around town easy and even ride on the beach some. You can't beat this company for price and service! I will definitely be using them again. read more

Our e-bike rental with Sun and Fun E-bikes was a wonderful experience! We rented beach cruisers for two hours. They delivered the bikes on time and, after a quick tutorial on how to use the equipment, we were on our way. We loved how we could easily communicate using the intercom helmets. The bike was comfortable and easy to ride. After a glorious morning ride, all we had to do was return to our hotel, where they met us and picked up the bikes. The e-bikes were very comfortable and performed well on both the beach and the road. We had the Cafe Cruisers and had plenty of batter power to spare for a 1/2 day rental. One of them did get a flat early on our ride, but Jennifer and Chris were very responsive and promptly brought a new bike to us. Then they told us to just keep them for as long as we wanted! We loved the Bluetooth helmets that allowed us to converse easily and actually bought some of our own while waiting to be rescued. Also loved the convenient delivery and pick up at our hotel. We were in town from Michigan and wanted to take advantage of the sunny weather. We chose Sun and Fun ebike rentals and so glad we did. We rent e-bikes often when we travel and this by far has been the best experience. Highly recommend you rent from this business. The bikes were excellent and more comfortable than Pedego. The husband and wife were both amazing! My husband arrived earlier than my daughter and I, at their place of business and they were so friendly and cordial to him. They were very patient in explaining the way the bikes work and having us do a short test drive to make sure we were good to go! They even stopper traffic with a red traffic flag to get us across the street safely both at the start and end of our adventure. What a blast! we had never ridden e-bikes before and decided to try it. Sun and fun delivered to our campsite at Anastasia campground right in time. They were super friendly and gave us instruction. We rented for two hours but wish we had gone for a longer time. They picked up right on time from the same location. It was way easier and more fun than expected. You could pedal just like a normal bike or adjust the throttle and make it like a moped. We are planning on buying a few bikes now. Highly recommend. Really enjoyed e-biking with Sun and Fun. They added a whole new dimension to our vacation. Chris delivered four bikes to our condo and had us riding in minutes. We rode the beaches, Anastasia State Park and downtown St Augustine. Their bikes are in great condition and their service is amazing. Best time ever! We were looking into buying some e-bikes but didn't know much about them. I found Sun And Fun and booked a weekend for 2 bikes. I can't say enough, they were amazing. What an awesome experience. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They met us with the bikes where we wanted to start the riding on the beach, which is a convenient service compared to other rentals we have used in other cities in the past. The bikes were fully charged and in great condition for our 2 hour ride down the beach. We had to dodge the changing tide and beach goers from time to time. Great sight-seeing and people watching though. We rent a lot of bikes on our get-aways and this one topped our list of best experiences. read more
